She basically told the younger gal that she wasn't a person but a dog that she is telling to sit.. after seeing that I left . like so much around here this store is a throwback to a simpler age. before the big blue and orange…read moreboxes over ran the countryside the jumbo-ace was the place for pretty much anything except dinner; a larger version of the local hardware store where you could find housewares, patio furniture, work and leisure clothes and stuff for to enjoying the great outdoors... this is a fine example of the big old store carrying Ace brands as well as national names across all product lines. the store is well lit and organized, and I think the shoes and clothes area was recently redone for ease of access. depending on what you need the local hardware might set you back a nickel but it's nice to have the option of not spending ten dollars and twenty minutes driving across town or buying hardware or plumbing and lighting fixtures online. really, in the long run this is totally cost effective.

My yard was overrun and needed replanting. It took almost a month before they were able to start the peoject, and only after i had to contact them several times asking when the work would begin. There were some delays that were not their fault, but there were also several commitments that they failed to meet and had to reschesule on me. They never let me know ahead of time that work would not be able to be completed. They would just miss their commitment and then i was left to contact them and find out the reason. After the initial work was finished, they were supposed to continue with weed control. They never showed up again. The manager contacted me several times inquiring about my lawn. Every time i told him weeds were growing back strong. The week of the 4th of july, i sent him a picture of my overgrown yard. At this point it was worse than before they dis the first job because the weeds were being watered. He said he would have someone over to pull weeds or mowz but again nobody showed on the agreed date. My yard was an absolute mess for the holiday weekend. After that i cut ties with this company and will never do business again. The wasted my time as a customer by telling me they could meet my needs, but completely fell flat on providing the actual service. Dont waste your time with this company. Their hands are too full to take care of you.

I have a Dr's note to keep this dog and she said "it's either you or the dog"- I should've fought it but this was my first place all on my own since my divorce and I had worked so hard to get to a place where my son had his own bedroom and we had a yard for the dog. He dug out 1 time and she wanted him gone. No working with me at all. -Wendy will not allow you to see the inside of the actual home you want because of some "insurance" issue. So I moved in NEVER seeing the inside until I had already given her money for a deposit- which is NON-REFUNDABLE. So I was trapped. - this same thing happened to a co-worker of mine. Put a deposit down on a place they could only view through photos. Then they saw inside and hated it. But she wouldn't give the deposit back so instead of losing it they chose a new place to live at a different D&R properties. - This company never had the utilities changed back to their company- I was gone October 13th and it is January and I am responsible for charges. I am a single mom and now have over $600 I have to pay for this company to keep the power on. If a new person would've moved in it would've changed over but no one has and this professional renting company never took on their responsibility to pay their utilities. So now I am paying for them. It's total BS. D&R Investments know what they are doing. They run over 100 properties and the fact the PUD and all utilities were not contacted by them .... I have never dealt with anything like that. I have moved almost 20 times and yes I forgot to cancel the garbage and Gas but the PUD? I shouldn't have to pay this. But I am liable for all of it. So always call the companies cause you may have a horrible property manager by the name of Wendy Greeno with no heart that will do whatever she can to ruin your day and Insure the business she works for has a terrible reputation. Plus I was a good renter. I ALWAYS paid my rent even during Covid. I let other bills go but ALWAYS paid my rent and my place looked beautiful and Wendy Greeno is a person that uses her position at her job to get people when they are most vulnerable. Please do not move into this home, I have been so depressed since living there and losing our dog and my $1500 deposit and now having to pay the bills for over 2 months of heating that empty home. Really makes you lose faith in people.

When you first move in, the application process is pretty strict so you assume the people that live here have been fully vetted, NOPE! People park where ever the hell they want, let their animals run loose, don't clean up their dogs shit, very noisy, play really loud music, speed through the speedbumps, do drugs in plain view of everyone, there is no clubhouse like the website says, the pool is always closed, and the water is always getting shut off without notice and for extended periods of time. The police are always here due to theft, drug use, and vandalism. I do not allow my family to visit or sleepover because it's so unsafe. Some residents do not leave their homes without carrying a pistol, even if it's just to check your mail. It's like an episode of The Walking Dead around due to all the junkies & crackheads. The management company has no presence here whatsoever. The management company is the most incompetent, brainless, and unprofessional management company you will ever encounter. The staff have a vocabulary span of like 20 words, Not Kidding! They never take any action when needed, they never answer the phone or respond to emails, love to pass the buck, will tell you how "busy" they are, always on "vacation", I have also been singled out and harassed; and trying to contact someone at their corporate office is next to impossible. They made me submit applications for my kids in college because I mentioned they will be here during holidays and breaks. But, the drug addicts have people coming and going all times of the day and night, renting rooms and corners to other drug addicts and don't have to complete applications. I have found needles, baggies, and other remnants of drug use in my yard and on the road. If you notify the management company, they tell you to call the police but if you call the police, the police will tell you to call the management company. It's ridiculous! Don't move here!!!

Also they went above and beyond. As they were packing up I asked if I could get a hand holding a shelf I made up while I attach it to the wall in my mud room. It only took 2 min but the willingness to go out of their way meant so much. I'm gonna get my ducts cleaned soon and you bet I'll be calling Pringles.
