I have ordered deliveries from these people twice now and both times on the day of the delivery. I've had to call them to find out where my delivery is late in the day and was told the same thing that it didn't get put in the system they had to go find somebody to pull it and bring it out to me. The Kennewick store apparently has not trained their staff to deal with on line purchases. Griggs is a good store at all branches for in person purchases. With some staff training, they will be prepared to respond to on line purchases. I like my contact with in person staff. Everyone has been helpful. The cashiers have been helpful. Went in to buy some items for the house. Approached an older gentleman to ask for a location of a an item and he got upset. He yelled WHAT and said I'm busy !!!!! What the hell I turned around and said have a nice day sir and left!! I will no longer to shop at ace or Griggs !!!!!! read more

Patty needs to learn some customer skills. I went to Ace to return a couple lightbulbs to replace exchange. A couple in front of me were shopping off coupons from the cash register as the husband ran to get things making me wait and wait and wait (pretty rude pair they were) and the cashier was looking at me like apologetically and turned to her coworker standing next to the other cash register to say someone needs a return but evidently Patty didn't really want to help me and says "yeah I know". She proceeds to do whatever she was doing with some pricing stickers or something for another few minutes clearly just dragging her arse as you could tell there was zero urgency to help a customer before finally putting it aside and helping me. Then at the register she's about as warm as a block of ice. It's not fun to deal with the employee who makes it feel like you're bothering them. She needs to maybe review those "how to treat a customer" videos you watch when you first start. when I go back I'll make sure if she's the one at the register I will ask for somebody else. The second star is for the nicer cashier who noticed I was waiting and was actually surprised at the people were going to retrieve stuff from the cash register to keep filling their order to maximize their coupons. Online orders are very very slow and customer service is not good. Sometimes a good deal is to good to be true. Local Ace stores don't carry items in stock. I was ordering a snow thrower. Come here often when I need some hardware, garden or grilling equipment for home, they carry a lot of needed product that is likely to be in demand. Staff is always helpful will always interact and inquire of the purpose of your visit to offer their help and assistance, and will leave you alone if you just wish to browse around. No pressure but helpful. Had keys copied here, got lightbulbs, screws brackets and hinges, potting soil and liquid plant food. Convenient. read more

Went in to make purchases, amongst going into the store I heard over the intercom that I needed to be spoken to about a backpack. A backpack that is designed to carry my emotional support animal that was signed off by a doctor. After explaining that was the case the manager who confronted me told me he did not believe I had an animal in the bag, at which point I showed him through the open mesh backpack that she (my dog) was in fact there. He then told me that corporate doesn't care they have their policies. At which point I went to the front desk and showed a photo of the document from the doctor and told them I will not be doing business with any Ace or Griggs location for a very long time. If I could give zero stars I would. Hope this helps people who have any level of working animals in this area realize that if you're transporting your dog in any bag they will not be considerate of your animal. read more
