Visited bienvenue to on the last day of our trip. I've been wanting some good Italian pasta and this didn't disappoint. The Tagliatelle was it overcooked and the sauce was excellent. My husband had a salad, it was delicious! The octopus wasn't rubbery, it was flavorful and served with a nice light dressing. Note if you do not like arugula please have them hold it or it may ruin your dish. The seafood risotto was also very good, it needed a little bit of salt but that's it! The wait staff was very nice, and extremely accommodating, and the price was reasonable! It wasn't very touristy, which was great! I would recommend this place whenever you visit Nice, France.

I've had a decent amount of Italian food in France, and there's an abundance here in Nice. I found this place to be just okay - the service is great and the servers speak a lot of languages but I thought the food was just okay. We came late on a Friday night (thankfully this place opens fairly late) and ordered just two entrees. I got the squid ink spaghetti with seafood and this was fine - the seafood was fresh and tasty but I didn't find the tomato sauce super flavorful - it needed something a little extra. It does come with mussels, clams, some calamari and one big shrimp. I don't know if I would get this again - it was fine for my dish but I wouldn't necessarily get it again. My husband got a piece of lasagna with a small side salad and we were disappointed with this - it was warmed up in the microwave and still cold in the middle. The lasagna was just so-so: there were a lot of layers of pasta that were kind of soggy, and then just the beef and cheese. I definitely wouldn't get this again. Overall, this place is okay but not amazing. At least we didn't need a reservation to eat here, not was it super expensive, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. If you don't have a lot of other options this is fine, but it was probably my least favorite meal during our weekend in Nice.

Benvenuto deserves 5 stars and it's an absolute must try Italian restaurant in Nice. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a family run restaurant and they do an extraordinary job both with the food and with service. The guy who takes take of service for all the tables is very friendly and has a good command of English. He patiently explained the menu to every patron. We ordered Tagliatelle Boscaiola, which is tagliatelle pasta with cream sauce, mushrooms, peas and pancetta. The portion size is humongous. My husband and I shared the plate and we were super full. It was just out of the world! Way tooo good! The cream wasn't overpowering, instead very yummy and filling. We wound up the meal with Zuppa Inglese dessert. Delish, once again. Highly recommend this lovely Italian restaurant in Nice.

Fantastic italian restaurant in the heart of nice with 5 star service. Marco is the waiter, his mother owns the restaurant and cooks the delicious food. They've been open under a year and are true roman chefs. Ambience: on an unassuming street away from the craziness of the vieux ville and cours saleya. Food: delicious. I recommend the truffle ravioli - but make sure you have an empty stomach. Its quite filling. All the pasta is made on site of course. Service: 5 star service from marco. He's quite charming and he seems determined to make the restaurant a success. It's not often that you get people who love their work and genuinely want to help you. He helped me pick the best dish for me, based on my preferences, when i was undecided. All in all - a must not miss experience. Especially given the service. Enjoy!

We tried italian food for a change after being turned away by le mandarin restaurant owner. Boy, did he do us a big favor!! This place was really good!! Big portions and very reasonable prices and fast and friendly service by the owners themselves helping out! We all loved the octopus salad and the lasagna was really delicious! I highly recommend this place for italian food lovers

I have dined in the Benvenuto Italian restaurant several times. I keep coming back for more! It's amazing. This little restaurant is family owned and operated as well as being cosy. Expect the very best produce which is always fresh. The menu is well priced as well and made in order. Service is great!

For example, me and my homegirl each got our own personal pizza (it was big), and a comically massive bucket of mussels and it was like $30 each. My pizza had burrata and tomatoes and a fresh pesto and the tomato sauce was sooo fresh. Alyssa had a truffle pizza which she really enjoyed. Night 2 we got pasta and I tore the carbonara up! Before my flight home and I had to run it back again for another pizza. The owner was like wtf you're back? Gave me a kiss and some limoncello and I was like yeah yeah yeah I'll see you next time I'm here haha. This place is in an alleyway and is a lot more discrete than some of the other spots but those are the ones with the best food and prices!

We sat outside on the covered and insulated patio. They also had heat lamps, so it felt ok in February outside. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. My husband ordered the seafood spaghetti which had a light red sauce and seafood including mussels. He really enjoyed it. I had the lightly fried seafood plate. Check my picture for what's on it. The shrimp was slightly over done but still good. The fish and calamari were breaded and seasoned well. I've never had fried sardines (whole body included; I've only had canned sardines in the past) so I wasn't prepared to eat these. I tried it but it wasn't my preference. The salad was nice and fresh. We also enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine. La Voglia was quick and affordable but good.

Located along the main street with shopping and restaurants galore, this Italian, street facing patio restaurant stands out. Two things to note before dining; 1. Everything on the menu is very large portions and 2. Each guest seated must order food. This is a busy area where weights can build up and seats are reserved for those people who will eat and drink. That being said, the food is absolutely outstanding and the two times I've been here they have been very accommodating with large groups without reservations. This is where I fell in love with French rosé and the price point on both food and drinks is a good value. Like I said, you will be taking food with you when you leave if you don't come hungry! I can't wait to return to Nice and when I do, this will definitely be on my list of stops

The restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner and there was a line formed when we arrived around 7:20, very interesting experience for Europe. Living in the US, this restaurant reminds me of a lot of new restaurant group restaurants that just kind of have a system in place. Again, not a bad thing, but not your place if you are looking for something that feels like classic Italy. The portions here are huge, which they are known for. Note that the menu states each person must order an entree, which seems to discourage sharing (since they literally bring you an entire pan). I got the seafood pasta with shrimp and clams in a fresh tomato sauce and my friend got the lasagna. Both were really good dishes and huge portions. We both had a full meal of leftovers for the next day. Not anything I can't get at a good Italian restaurant in the US, but good food. The espresso martini was a good one though!! I think my 3 stars are more about the overall experience here. The food I would give a 4.
