One of the highlights is the first-period Bible study, which focuses on various chapters of Scripture. It sets a meaningful tone for the day and grounds the students in truth. As a hybrid model, the school does require parental involvement in overseeing your child's work. It's allowed me to read many of the classic works I missed growing up. The curriculum is thoughtfully selected by the administration and is excellent. I've also had the opportunity to teach and coach at the school. It's a wonderful community of students and families. I became suicidal, depressed and anxious because of this school and I've also got ptsd from here which digs into my Christian faith. Now when I study a certain book of the Bible or hear a certain hymn, I can no longer enjoy it because it brings me back here. Just last week was I at a Bible Study and it reminded me too much of the Bible Studies here at SBSUM and I started having a panic attack. This school is very controlling for a school of only 300 students and they have ridiculous rules because they don't want to address the real problem. They also lack organization skills and time management as a school who tries to promote that for their students. For the first year in this school, some emails that I should have received I never did and I spent time being lost because I did not know what was going on due to me not receiving those emails. This school is a HUGE FAN of sending out important info very late. This school would send out emails about events coming up two days before the event occurs, not giving me time to plan out my schedule and causing me to miss the event. I have had teachers send out emails about class at 10pm the day before. Even one time I had a teacher asking us to print out a short story and bring it to class 6am the day of. School here can also be very stressful. For example, I've had teachers who would assign WAAAY too much homework, such as 48 math problems due the next day or 50 pages of reading. I've also had teachers who would gaslight me about not doing my homework even though I had a good reason for not doing it that even my parents backed up. I was also very alone here, which originally led to my depression. I originally blamed it on the small school but now seeing the other students in my new school I see now that it's the fellow students of SBSUM who are not welcoming. They are nice but I have been left out and abandoned by them multiple times and I ended up feeling very lonely. When it comes to sports my parents paid $200 just for me to sit on the bench every game even though my parents and I agreed that I played just as well as everyone else and there should be no reason for me to be on the bench. In conclusion, the stress, the students, feeling like you are a puppet and the staff are puppeteers, and constantly being wronged is not worth it. I have examples of the issues that I've mentioned in this review but I do not feel comfortable going into them in detail. If you want your child to have permanent marks on their wrist that they created themselves, this is where you enroll them. If you want your child to grow apart from God, this is where you enroll them. If you want your child to have mental illnesses that both teachers and students caused, this is where you enroll them.

KatyGT is the third preschool we sent our daughter in and it's the best. the teachers are very thoughtful and full of love. my daughter was born in pandemic time, so she rarely contact with people. when she was 3 years old this year, we decided to send her to preschool, at first we send her to a big chain daycare close to our house, but she kept crying and crying .one day we observed outside the playground, we found she was almost crying out of control and nobody comforted her. the teachers just gossiped each other. Then we send her to another daycare, she also very nervous and anxious...... When we sent her to GT for the first day, she even didn't cry. Ms Min hold her for a long time and she hold her hand all the time. all the teachers there show their love to her. They even help her make good friend in her class. she didn't feel lonely and feels love around her. It's about one month since we send her to GT, Now she is excited to go to school everyday. she says she loves all the teachers there and all the teachers love her. it's the best decision we have made to send her to GT. the teachers is full of love, they pay attention to every kids. By the way, the curriculum being taught is very advanced, I had thought she's too young to learn, but to my surprise, she can count to 10 and she can trace the letters now.

When our son transitions to Kindergarten we'll continue to send him to Katy GT for afterschool programs and summer camps. Before enrolling, check the Texas HHS public child-care compliance history for any daycare you are considering. Parents have the right to review inspection reports and compliance history. For BPPS on S. Mason Rd, I found a Texas HHS deficiency dated 10/7/2025 for Standard 746.2805(3), "Prohibited Punishments - Grabbing and Pulling." The public narrative states there was sufficient evidence that a child was grabbed while in care. The record also states the deficiency was corrected, and compliance was verified on 11/13/2025. I'm sharing this so other parents know to check public records, read fee policies carefully, and ask questions before enrolling.

The owners are very present and have been incredibly receptive to feedback, with a clear care for the children and teachers at the heart of their decisions. We're a fan of the technology used to keep us in the loop with daily reports and cameras so we can check in during the day. They are so accommodating to each child's need. It is very evident that they have a lot of experience with babies and often give good advice. My child clearly loves his teachers and smiles each day he sees them. I am confident each day that my little one is in great hands. The school director is also wonderful as well. This daycare has cameras to log in and check on your little one and the teachers often send pictures of the kids through an app. I couldn't recommend this daycare more.
