I have nothing but good things to say about this school! we love KatyGT , Ms Mary, Ms Min, Ms Maria, Ms Lana......all the teachers there are amazing. KatyGT is the third preschool we sent our daughter in and it's the best. the teachers are very thoughtful and full of love. my daughter was born in pandemic time, so she rarely contact with people. when she was 3 years old this year, we decided to send her to preschool, at first we send her to a big chain daycare close to our house, but she kept crying and crying .one day we observed outside the playground, we found she was almost crying out of control and nobody comforted her. the teachers just gossiped each other. Then we send her to another daycare, she also very nervous and anxious...... When we sent her to GT for the first day, she even didn't cry. Ms Min hold her for a long time and she hold her hand all the time. all the teachers there show their love to her. They even help her make good friend in her class. she didn't feel lonely and feels love around her. It's about one month since we send her to GT, Now she is excited to go to school everyday. she says she loves all the teachers there and all the teachers love her. it's the best decision we have made to send her to GT. the teachers is full of love, they pay attention to every kids. By the way, the curriculum being taught is very advanced, I had thought she's too young to learn, but to my surprise, she can count to 10 and she can trace the letters now. read more

We love KatyGT. Our son has been here for just over 1 year and we regret not sending him here from the start of his preschool experience. Our son is always excited for school and even requests to attend class on weekends. The curriculum being taught is very advanced as my son, a 4 year old can tell you all about the continents, different countries within the continents and special characteristics about those different countries. He is also able to read easy reader books and do basic math. Overall Katy GT has exceeded our expectations. When our son transitions to Kindergarten we'll continue to send him to Katy GT for afterschool programs and summer camps. Ms. Mary and her amazing teachers run a very well thoughtout program which we're proud to send our son to. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about this school! I was very nervous about putting my 3 year old daughter into school, but Ms. Mary and Ms. Min have been above and beyond helpful. They have encouraged my daughter to become fully potty trained, learn to say the ABC's, count numbers, write her name and showed her how to act properly in a classroom. Everyday they work with her on her attention span and help her to focus and become successful with the class activities. The way KATY GT ACADEMY operates is completely out of control and my daughter did not even get to learn what she was signed up for. The "customer service" here is ridiculously rude, and none of the teachers seem to know what to do. When I signed my daughter up for math CBE near the end of May, the director there promised me that my daughter would learn 8th grade math and that a 100% of students there had passed the test. (CBE) However, the teacher was suddenly changed in the last two days. The teacher did not know that my daughter needed to learn 8th grade math (as the majority of students there were there to learn 6th grade math). The new teacher said that she would bring the correct materials, and ended up forgetting, and forgetting AGAIN the very next day. I later learned that all the students who were taking CBE (as there were not many students) were all ushered into a single room where the teacher taught what the majority of the students needed to learn. The director had not told me the truth, or at least did not even pay my daughter any attention. (My daughter told me that she was learning things she already knew and that class "breaks" were awfully long, sometimes stretching to the end of class.) When I complained to the director about how the math classes were not my money's worth on the phone, she (Ms. Mary) spoke loudly and harshly, telling me to "stop accusing KGTA of things I did not know." Is that really the way you treat people when they have concerns about their children's learning? She then ORDERED me to "bring my child's work/notebook" and prove that I was right. I'm worried that the teacher might treat my daughter worse tomorrow since I've complained. I hope people will read this and make the right decision for their kids by not going to Katy GT Academy. read more

They had a lot of problems with teachers, our child was injured at school by a teacher. When we approach the school about it, they claimed no one know what happened or were present when the incident occurred. They simply asked the teachers what happened, they said "no one knows what happened". They have no control what happens at the school and everyone lies to protect their own interest. Their main interest are not the children but buisness. Our hope is that people will read this and learn from our experience. Do not send your children to this school read more

Great academy. Director and teachers were very helpful in providing a proficient learning environment. They even picked my daughter up from elementary school mid-day even though she was the only student with that schedule. Both of my daughters have done their Summer Program for several years. We wanted something for them that allowed them to still use their minds, explore, and learn all summer in addition to all of the fun stuff and field trips! I've found that they go back to school more prepared for the next year and confident in their abilities. And all the while they still got to enjoy "fun" stuff for their summer! We love, love, love Katy GT Academy! We have two kids enrolled, both of whom have been since 18months of age. The individualized lessons they've received has allowed them to flourish. The love and support they receive on a daily basis has increased their confidence, both socially and scholastically. The teachers communicate well with us, and bring us into their growth daily, weekly, and monthly. I am AMAZED at how much my kids have learned since enrolling in KGTA, and while I like to think that we've taught them all these wonderful things, I know that the foundation for solid education has started with the wonderful crew at Katy GT Academy.
