The appraisal was 150k under Zillow. They used comps that were substantially smaller, less expensive and with Much less rental income as comp. Hung up on me when I tried to speak to them about it. Cost me $1100!!!! Are you kidding me. My lender said I had no choice in picking the appraiser then made me pay a bunch of extra fees because my appraisal was so low! Sound Hinky?!?! To me to. Run. Company owner showed up an hour late for his appointment. Walked through the house and took photos of the inside. While in the basement my wife heard a lot of door banging noise. Wasn't sure what he was doing. Come to find out he had some kind of difficulty opening/closing a set of brand new French doors. When I got home from work I looked at the doors. He had broke the door hinges and split the wood on the frame. Mind you, we are selling this house and had 23 people with their realtors and a home inspector previously walk through these doors open/close with no problem. This guy was the last one to operate the doors, breaks the doors and denies he did anything. It gets better! He had cut himself on his ladder while accessing the attic. He bled all over my garage, belongings in the garage, driveway and the sidewalk up to the front door. He has made no attempt to contact us or cleanup the Biohazard he left on our property. How do we know what blood borne disease he may have left...hepatitis, aids, ........ Very unprofessional, clueless and arrogant. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
