I completely understand that crabs can vary somewhat in size, but there is a difference between a few variations and ordering large male crabs and receiving a box with so many smaller crabs. The problem is that this was purchased for our last girls' night of the summer. My best friend, my cousin, and I split the half bushel between us, and we do not live in the same city, so bringing the entire order back was simply not realistic. I wasn't expecting special treatment--I just expected to receive what I paid for. Once we realized the size of the crabs, it was extremely disappointing, especially because this was supposed to be a fun evening together. The picture speaks for itself. We paid for large male crabs, and I don't feel like that is what we received. I'm leaving this review because customers should be able to trust that when they pay for a specific size, that is what they're going to receive.
