I called this practice because it was one of the few open, and was directed to email photos so Dr. Engel could take a look. He called within 10 minutes and talked me off the ledge. He calmly explained the trauma in detail and advised that while nothing could be done immediately because the teeth and gum must heal first, our toddler should have an in-person exam in one week's time. I greatly appreciated Dr. Engel asking questions that showed his expertise and compassion, and for taking his time to reassure this upset parent. I don't know much about the technical aspects of orthodontic work, but I had always heard from friends that getting braces adjusted could be a very painful, uncomfortable experience -- but this was NEVER the case for me with Dr. Kojanis! She was always extremely gentle and is extremely skilled at what she does! I also had to have my braces removed before we planned to for unrelated medical reasons, and Dr. Kojanis was completely understanding of that, and adjusted our plan accordingly to make sure that I still got the smile we were working towards!! After about a 5 minute wait (incredibly short for a doctors office), an assistant greeted me and was very pleasant - trying to comfort me even though I was in apparent pain. After explaining what and where the pain was, a very easy x-ray was taken of the affected area while I was still in the chair. Dr. Yee greeted me, asked me where the pain was, and started the exam. He thoroughly explained what was wrong, explained my x-rays, and provided a solution. I had been treated by Marijana for all of my previous visits. This past week Dr. Tsimis installed a crown...a normally involved procedure requiring two visits. He treated the damaged tooth, measured and prepped me in 45 minutes. To my amazement one half hour later my new crown was ready and perfectly fit to my satisfaction. They now have the technology to fabricate a permanent crown. I think it is awesome. Bravo to Dr. Marlen, Dr. Tsimis and the entire staff! You only get better and better and I always look forward to my visits.

I had to go find a new orthodontist to fix what Dr Schulhof would not. I don't even care about the money, of course I had to pay the new Dr. to repair my braces, that not what I am warning you about, it the way I was spoken to by Silvia. No one should ever be talked to like that, especially when they are a patient and in pain. Stay away from this place and from Silvia
