To be honest, I've been looking for more alternatives to Lidl, and this place, La Placita, ACME, and Family Dollar help a lot in giving me other options. (Carniceria Latina and La Roca are great for butcher sections). I still go to Lidl for some items, Lidl's prices are the reason I keep shopping there. But I feel Lidl's selection is quite limited, it doesn't feel like a real supermarket, and a lot of times I dread being stuck on line if I make the mistake of going at the wrong hour. There was a lot construction going on as well, so exit roads from parking lot were in very bad condition and one of the entrance was closed. Inside the store it was like any other Walmart, just aisles after aisles of products. They have a huge produce and grocery section. There were a lot of decoration and inventory for Easter as well. I easily located the bike we came to get. After trying it for a bit, we took it to the checkout lane. The checkout was quick as the cashier scanned and processed the payment in a short time. Near the exit, there was a McDonald's store as well. We were happy with the in-store shopping experience but the parking situation and potholes in the surrounding roads made it unpleasant for the shoppers.

It has the best ever produce section of any grocery store I've been to in the New York City area. They have probably six different kinds of eggplants alone. Live fluke, king crab, razor clams, abalone. They really have it all. If you come on a Saturday or Sunday, they have ladies making kimchi, Bulgogi, samples, fresh fruit samples, roasted sweet potatoes to buy. It's a fun environment to walk around in.
