I was looking for a specific kid's bike for my daughter, which this Walmart had in stock. We arrived around Saturday afternoon. It was crazy busy, almost impossible to find any parking spot. There was a lot construction going on as well, so exit roads from parking lot were in very bad condition and one of the entrance was closed. Inside the store it was like any other Walmart, just aisles after aisles of products. They have a huge produce and grocery section. There were a lot of decoration and inventory for Easter as well. I easily located the bike we came to get. After trying it for a bit, we took it to the checkout lane. The checkout was quick as the cashier scanned and processed the payment in a short time. Near the exit, there was a McDonald's store as well. We were happy with the in-store shopping experience but the parking situation and potholes in the surrounding roads made it unpleasant for the shoppers. read more

Huge Walmart at Secaucus. If I go through every section, it will probably be whole day. They had bakery, grocery, household items, clothing, and more. We went for kids bicycles and it did not disappoint. Various designs and heights to choose from. At the same area, it also had helmets and protective gears. Many check out counters at the front. The line was ok. The staff at the door really checked the receipt to make sure the product number matched. Great place to do weekly shopping if you are up for the craziness and the crowds. The supplies section is always stocked and on point which is good, but the perishable sections were seriously lacking, didn't feel like they had much variety, there are decent discounts which is good. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent shopping experience at Walmart. The checkout process has become increasingly frustrating because there is consistently chaos at the store exit when customers are asked to have their receipts checked. On this visit, the employee checking receipts barely looked at my cart or verified the items I had purchased, making the process seem pointless while still creating unnecessary delays. What was even more disappointing was an employee loudly yelling at customers to move from one receipt-check line to another. Customers should be treated with courtesy and respect, not shouted at while leaving the store after paying for their purchases. This experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and unacceptable. As a longtime customer, I expect a better shopping experience and better customer service. Unfortunately, because of this repeated issue and the way customers are treated at the exit, I have decided that I will no longer be shopping at Walmart. SCAMMERS. My family and I had one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever seen at this Walmart. Back in March, my 81 year old grandmother purchased a $150 gift card at customer service using cash after multiple payment attempts failed. The employee still handed her the gift card and receipt. Weeks later, we discovered the card had NEVER been loaded with funds. We contacted the gift card company directly and they confirmed there was never any money attached to the card. Thankfully, my grandmother kept the receipt. When we brought this issue to Walmart customer service, multiple employees treated us rudely, accused my elderly grandmother of lying, and repeatedly insisted that security footage "proved" she never handed over the cash. After filing a police report, Walmart suddenly changed their tone and admitted they would "take the loss." However, even after all of that, we are STILL dealing with issues getting the replacement gift card. The most upsetting part wasn't even the missing money -- it was the way employees spoke to my grandmother. Instead of trying to help resolve an obvious issue, they immediately became defensive and dismissive. Being treated like scammers over a legitimate complaint was disgusting. I strongly recommend people double-check every gift card they purchase here before leaving the store and ALWAYS keep receipts. read more

I purchased an everlast boxing bag that broke in half within six months and they will not help. It was defective. I have spoken to professionally trained boxers who insist this item should not break in half! It has never happened to them and they have been boxing for years. I started boxing in November 2025. I purchased a twin mattress from Walmart online on March 27, 2026. Before it even arrived, I realized I had ordered the wrong size, but it was already too late to cancel. Once it was delivered, I immediately requested a return and refund. The return process was extremely frustrating. My only options were to drop it off in-store (not possible since I'm in NYC and there are no Walmart physical stores nearby) or schedule a pickup. I scheduled a pickup for April 3, but no one showed up. I contacted Walmart, and they rescheduled it for April 8--again, no one came. I then asked for a shipping label to send it via FedEx or UPS, but Walmart only uses a third-party pickup service (EFW Express), which also had poor communication and service. After multiple reschedules, the mattress was finally picked up on April 20. Today is May 5, and I still have not received my refund. I have contacted Walmart three more times and was told each time that the refund was being processed and should appear within 2 days--but nothing has happened so far. At this point, the entire experience has been extremely disappointing, especially the lack of reliable return and refund handling. I will not be purchasing from Walmart again, and I would not recommend it to anyone who cannot afford major delays or complications in after-sales support. read more

I recently shopped at this Walmart to grab some groceries since I'll be staying in the New York City area for the next week. The guests here are actually pretty friendly when you are shopping around. Even at 9:00 p.m. This Walmart is packed! Price is here are pretty fair with other Walmart stores that I've been to. Shells and Isles were clean and well maintained. I did have issues trying to find some products and if this place even carried alcohol too. Check out lines were easy to come by too and I prefer that over the self-checkout. Invented policies, refusal to cite rules, and denial of visible evidence I am writing this because I encountered a level of egregious behavior that should concern any customer who values honesty and transparency. I have already reported this incident from a few weeks ago to Walmart Corporate, and they acknowledged the integrity issue and promised corrective action. Nevertheless, the public deserves to know what is actually happening on the ground at this location. Before this incident, I had mixed but generally neutral impressions of the Secaucus Walmart. It is always extremely crowded, the parking lot is chaotic, staff are often hard to get help from, and it is common to deal with pushy customers who will physically walk into you and/or aggressively cut you off, only to stop short and block your path, even when you say "excuse me." However, the store does have a large selection and usually keeps items in stock, which I appreciated. Prices were not especially good, but I didn't think much about the store overall until I needed help with a basic task. That changed during a recent visit. One supervisor asserted a verbal-only "policy" that does not exist in writing and directly contradicts Walmart's own website. When asked to cite the policy or put it in writing, he refused. A second supervisor did not address that claim and instead refused to engage with pricing evidence that was clearly visible in the Walmart app, including on both my device and another associate's device. Rather than acknowledge or review that evidence, she repeatedly ignored it, even when it directly contradicted her explanation. She even turned her head away from my device to avoid looking at it, which is not what anyone would expect from an open and honest customer service interaction. I was subjected to multiple misleading explanations, shifting rationales, and a refusal to provide a clear, documented policy basis for the store's actions. When I asked for clarification or accountability, my questions were dismissed instead of answered. The only consistency was that I was repeatedly given inaccurate statements to enforce a specific outcome. To be clear, my concern is not Walmart's price match policy or its exceptions. I understand that policies can have exclusions. However, if policies exist, they should be explainable, consistent, and written. Staff explanations of policy should not contradict publicly documented corporate records, and visible evidence should not be ignored when it conflicts with a preferred narrative. That standard was not met here. If you want to be ignored, lied to, and gaslit by management, this is the store for you. read more

Recently I asked my daughter why we didn't go to the Walmart. She told me it was too much of a burden because Secaucus was the nearest location. She got me to open an account online after she ordered her bed frame from Walmart and had it delivered. That was maybe ten years ago. Since then I've had very successful purchases and deliveries using Walmart online shopping. Walmart is good too use for taking advantage of their low price to get a deal elsewhere! I recently saved two dollars a box for Sweet n Low by showing the Walmart price at my local store. Thanks Walmart for having the best prices. One woman just pointed her head in the direction of the aisle, no number or anything and turned to her colleague and continued her conversation. All the shelf stockers have speakers/radios on their carts, no cart has the same music and then add in the store music and it's quite an overload. Some of the aisles were about two trolleys wide, passing each other was made difficult when the aisles had several people stocking the shelves, shouldn't this be done at night? It's not safe to do during the day. The upside, it's handy to get to from Port Authority in Manhattan and I paid under $10 return. read more

I have no complaints. This location was clean and well stocked, they were very organized on the way they allowed customers in the store. The first night I went we got there around 7:15 and in New Jersey everything has been closing by 8 pm, governor's orders. Basically we didn't have much time. There was no wait though, we walked right in. Pretty cool. The next day which was this past Sunday, yesterday, we arrived around noon and there was certainly a line of maybe 150 or so people ahead of me. It wasn't bad. We're weren't in line long. People were practicing social distancing and everyone had on masks, some gloves as well. I found what I was looking for and then some, as is what typically happens when you visit Walmart. I'd definitely recommend shopping at This location. read more

As this is one of the main Walmart's in my local area, I come here anytime I need to pick something up quick or to do a little bit of a grocery run. This Walmart is huge and i'm pretty sure you can find a majority, if not everything, on your grocery list. With that being said, the isles at this specific location are insanely cluttered and kind of messy. There's always items out of place, on the floor or completely missing. The staff here is OK. I've never ran into an unfriendly employee which is good. They're helpful sometimes, but mostly very lazy and don't know where a lot of things are. There's times I feel like I know more about locating product than they do, but it is what it is. There are more carts that are messed up than there are working so a lot of the time you'll see broken carts everywhere. I like that they no longer provide plastic bags! Instead you can purchase paper bags or reusable recyclable bags. The parking lot gets full pretty fast and the lines inside can also be insanely long sometimes. I'd say that your best bet is to come shopping here before 12pm. Only come here past noon if you've got time on your hands. read more

Hey, where do I report missing reviews and photos, does Yelp have a 'Lost & Found'? I think over time 2 dozen of my reviews have disappeared including the one for this place. Well I am a real shopper and not everything here is cheaper than other places I go to. so I only pick up items here they cost less than the other places I go to. I easily save $10, or $20 on a $100 trip. They have everything from bananas to flatscreens here, and a self-service online order pickup. The checkout is always underman and now that they got self-checkout they have even fewer humans working and it takes longer than before to get out of here. Secaucus has banded plastic bags which I support but cheapo Walmart charges 5 cents per paper bag. It's not the money is the cheapness to charge what you get free in any other store other than Aldi. Last but not least is the McDonald's here, same McDonald's food but they don't offer or honor any of the McDonald's nationwide specials. Nor do they have a good spot to wait for your order without blocking other shoppers trying to leave the store. read more

I was in town visiting and looking to get a few things for my hotel room. I was appreciative of the fact that the shelves were very well stocked. Finding food items were easy. But that was probably the best part of my experience. Though there was plenty of staff, finding one that spoke English and was actually able to understand you enough to help you was nearly impossible. I was looking for a jacket, sweater, hoodie or something and they had none of that. They sell 0 alcohol which I have never seen at a Walmart. No beer, wine coolers, anything. That's new for me. The one & only day of each week I dread is Saturday going to Walmart for groceries. There's no other option that is not over 45 minutes away or doesn't have me paying $5+ for a gallon of milk. I go early arriving before 7am. Knowing there will still be shelf stocking taking place. That's totally FINE. What is not fine are the majority of the "employees" are not helpful, the rude and often pushy "shoppers" getting items for pick up customers and not being able to ask ANYONE for assistance because I don't speak Spanish. Yesterday was the topper and I truly wish someone of importance in the Walmart chain was reading this... they need to bring back self checkout! This new "Everybody must go to be checked out by an employee " no longer works in this century. I want to bag my groceries. That's fine. But if your employees are not going to bag my stuff (no more 1985 bag boy waiting at the end of the check stand) and ALLLLL they do is scan, it's a slow, awful experience! But back to yesterday...I presently have a medical condition with my leg muscles so walking is uncomfortable. Not Walmarts problem, I know. But to have a woman rudely shake her head and point me away from the scan and go (I think there's like 6 but you must pay extra to do that and the reviews of THAT are terrible) and down to the other end of the store checkouts (because only 2 were open ‍) while muttering something in Spanish like I'm the dummy was honestly upsetting. These employees at Walmart do not care and have never taken any sort of customer service training. And if they did? My god they apparently failed but were still hired because they knew somebody. Plus I had maybe 18 items. I had to walk all the way down to the open checkout then walk all the way back to the other side to leave because I was parked on that side of their lot. This was a really nice Wal-Mart, likened to locatons in the south rather than North Jersey. The select was great in every department, as were the prices and we were able to check out quickly, since there were so many cashiers open. The restrooms were being constantly cleaned and social distance was enforced. The entrance is under the blue tent and the exit is clear at the other end of the store, one way in, another way out. It was a pain to walk around barricades, but it made clueless shoppers spread out a little. read more

It is true. What you read in the news about strange people shopping after midnight in Walmart. You do see all kinds of people then. This is a huge Walmart and is convenient to those living in the area. You can get your groceries, home stuff, electronics (Apple products are here too), clothes, beauty products and prescription at the pharmacy too. There is a Macdonald's in there too, useful when you get hungry in the middle of the night. There is an older staff who is very sweet and kind. I was looking for Sahale fruits and nuts snack and asked her for assistance. She brought me to the shelf, unfortunately there were only 3 packs left. I took those and went on shopping. Later I bumped into her again and she told me to follow her. She found a box of Sahale snacks and brought it out for me. How awesome is that for customer service? It is a good place to shop and being Walmart, the prices are slightly lower too. Just check your products as we had to return an item when we found out it was missing some parts. For bulky items, keep your receipt on you as the security will need to check it against your purchase. The pharmacy is good too. I got super glue all over my hands and asked the pharmacist for something to remove it. She gave me a paper towel soaked with rubbing alcohol to try removing it. It worked. And I was not charged for that. We did buy a bottle of the rubbing alcohol though. I think this should be a staple in every household. read more

This has to be my favorite Walmart. I have been coming here for many years now and it's my Walmart of choice. Since it is a SuperCenter i always find anything and everything that i need from household things, to food, medicine and more. It can get crowded and the checkout lines can be long but i like to go late at night when there's not that many people. Usually they have plenty of registers open for check out and a lot of self check out which are the ones i prefer because they are faster. This Walmart is huge and you will find everything you need. If you need to return something, the process is simply if you have the receipt. read more
