BEWARE!!! Dr. Berger does not honor his contracted rates. STAY AWAY!! Had been going to this office for years, the good chiropractor suddenly left and now Dr. Berger tries to charge non insurance rates even though he has contracted rates that I confirmed with insurance company. When you pay so much for your insurance premium and then the doctor rips you off by not charging you the lower contracted rate, it is quite upsetting. read more

I have been going to Dr. Novia at Berger Chiropractic to treat lumbar pain caused by degenerated discs, a herniated disc, and arthritis in the facet joints Dr. Novia will not try to convince you that you need to come in two or three times a week for months on end, he just knows how to deal with injuries and pain through gentle adjustments and therapies as you feel it is needed. I made the big mistake of switching to another chiropractor in the area and ended up barely able to walk after several months of inappropriately harsh adjustments, only to come back here to a warm greeting and only a few adjustments and therapies to make me feel great again. The massage therapists Ana and Christopher are also excellent, and I love the fact that Dr. Novia and the massage therapists work together to target your specific problems. I had zero expectations when I called about a Groupon deal I was considering purchasing, but I was greeted very pleasantly, all my questions were answered thoroughly (no injury, no accident, no superfluous x-rays!), and I was given an appointment for later that same day. I'm not even kidding when I say that Dr. Novia is a body whisperer. He was able to zone in on my problems and directly target what needed adjusting. He has exactly the right combination of strength and gentleness that you would want from someone who's manipulating your spine! And unlike some chiropractors, he won't recommend an excessive number of visits or services to bleed your wallet. Oh, and the mechanical massage (dry hydrotherapy aka the waterbed)...amazing! After seeing Dr. Berger 3 times, I ended up in the emergency room needing emergency spine surgery as a result of him not knowing what he is doing. I have come to learn that he has a deal with attorneys who send him car accident business to increase the claims against insurance. My back will never be the same thanks to Dr. Berger. I highly recommend going somewhere else unless you want to end up like me. I have to believe the positive reviews you see online are his friends. He obviously is good at marketing and covers the internet with videos and fake reviews. He also ran Boca Rejuvenation which was a complete botox and rejuvenation fraud that was shut down and sued for permanently damaging multiple people. Last week I began experiencing neck and shoulder pain that radiated down my arm. It was extremely painful and I sought out the help of my local chiropractor who started treatment immediately. Unfortunately, I had a week long business trip planned for the upcoming week and pain or not, off I went. Day 1 brought so much pain and discomfort that I could barely work or sleep so I figured I would find a chiropractor nearby where I was staying and try for some relief. The folks at Berger were just awesome. From the lovely young lady at the front desk, Ama (I hope she will pardon me if I spelled it incorrectly) to Dr. Craig Novia, my experience could not have been better. I "came in off the street" and gave them very little time to help me out and knowing that I was a "transient" patient did nothing to change the manner and degree of care that was afforded me. My only complaint is that they do not have an office back home in New Jersey so I can continue to see them for my treatments. read more
