We see them 2x a year for service and each service is scheduled about 30 days in advance by their friendly office staff. They're always punctual come appointment time which I really appreciate. When they guy is here we only see him for a minute or two before he starts doing his thing. I assume they're doing great work, because whenever there's a power outage the generator starts up without any issue. All in all we're very happy with GenPro. I'd definitely recommend them for generator maintenance in Bucks County.

The company boasts over 40 years service but incident reports or I should say mine I was not satisfied. Otherwise workmanship was good. I am retired Govt contracts person and just look for a properly executed document. When I asked tech for written signature he wrote his name on top paper??? Thanks to Robert and Ryan! But I do have 2 issues with the sales. 1. They bill me $675 for handling township electric work permitting, and the township price is $250, a 170% markup. The salesman said it is because they have to hire high-priced inspectors. I told him the $250 township fee includes the inspection. He said I was wrong. The inspector came in today and was paid by the Township. I was right. 2. The sales tried to bill me $500 for a loose house electric meter. I told him that multiple workers in the past had checked and found nothing wrong with the meter itself. Just the screws to the wall were loose. We verbally agreed that the installation crew would re-check during work and would adjust the price accordingly. Robert and Ryan did check and found nothing wrong with the meter and re-attached it back to the wall, but still charged me $400 claiming they were not allowed to adjust more than $100. I would be happy to pay premium for honest job, but $875 out of the $2,468 I paid to Ampd is for nothing. I bought the connector separately. Robert and Ryan did a good job, but the sales process as a whole was less than honest.

I hate it when I'm scheduling projects through Yelp for bids and a business has the "Request a…read moreQuote" option enabled but instead uses the platform to send messages to call! Instead of a quote or price range via Yelp, Thomas Edison Electric charged a $125 dispatch fee to come out and give a quote. Yes, it was disclosed before coming out; but after speaking with them over the phone, we had no idea their estimate would be nearly (3) three times more than what the common estimate was compared to (4) four other bids! Needless to say, we moved on to another company. I would not recommend scheduling for a quote, they are significantly overpriced, and in my opinion, it's not worth the risk of wasting time and paying $125 for no work performed.
