Today I went in for a check engine light. They proceeded to tell me there is a $175 charge to diagnose it. On Sat I went to autozone for a diagnosis for free and gave them the report. Did not matter, they were going to have to diagnose it. After she came back and gave me an extremely high quote with additional items, I asked her for the diagnosis report since you charged me $175. Tate Verhagen, service advisor, said there is no report. The estimate of repairs is the report. She gave me a screen shot picture of a cylinder misfire counts. Nothing more. I had my brakes done (pads & rotors, all 4) due to a warped rotor and then wear, on a vehicle I purchased there. It was squealing a few months later, so l made an appointment to bring it in. I brought my truck to the service department to replace the oil pump. I was originally quoted $2800 and told I would get it back Tuesday/Wednesday. Wednesday morning after not hearing a word, I called to check in before I went to pick it up, and I was told it would now be Friday because they didn't have the right part in stock, and the quote was now at $3000. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one notified me about the raise in price or the delay; I had to call and find out myself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their version of rectifying the delay and lack of communication was bringing the price back down to the original quote. This is a review for the collision center. My daughter's windows were vandalized on her car and we took it to Broadway. They did an amazing job!! My daughter said she almost cried. They cleaned the glass out of her car and cleaned a bunch of junk she had in her car out and put it in her trunk. She also had something wrong with her bumper and they did a quick fix without charging us. It looks amazing! Another thing that was truly impressive is that they'd given us an estimate of when the repairs would be done. It had sounded like it possibly might take longer to repair than what they told me, but it ended up getting fixed 4 days earlier. That was great!! I'd definitely recommend their collision center. I went to look and only get pricing ideas. I was foolish enough to fill out this paperwork they gave me and I asked what kind of credit check is this? Oh it's just a soft inquiry. I was okay with that but hours later get an email from the bank that alerts me to a credit pull. This credit check was NOT soft! It took 5 points and will take many months to earn the points back as well as get the inquiry off my credit report. I talked to the sales manager and they see nothing wrong with dropping the credit scores for a credit check even when the person isn't ready to buy. Don't ever fill out any paper work for these people unless you read it all and make sure you know what you are agreeing to. I won't even think about buying from these people after this. I went to the Chevy side and thought the Equinox was really nice. Had it all set to go and the finance guy did the whole deal in! Ran credit multiple times through multiple banks despite me wanting to use my own bank who I knew was cheaper and I trust. Then the warranty talk. Just wouldn't take no and I got my dad in and he said no and said it was a huge waste of money. Still didn't understand. If the warranty is as necessary as he says it is, they must be selling absolute junk for cars. The salesman was so nice and I feel bad he lost the sale, especially considering it wasn't his fault at all but keep pushing and you will get no sale like I did. Extremely disappointed with Broadway and will no longer be going there for any services. My car was towed here in order to get fixed due to a minor accident I was in. It has been over 48 hours since they received my vehicle, and I have still not heard ANYTHING from them. Not a phone call updating me, not an estimate, nothing. The most frustrating part is that I have called several times, left several voicemails, and have still received no information. Not only have I still not been given an estimate, I haven't even been given a time frame as to how long I'll have to wait to get an estimate. Do not purchase a VW Taos, They have a mechanical flaw and the dealer ship can not repair because VW has not given them a cheap way to repair this recall. While they say it is not a safety issue that the car speeds up and you loosing control turning corners, but one of these times I will be wrapped around a telephone pole. VW's answer was if you do not feel safe driving your brand new vehicle with 5000 miles you should not drive it until VW comes up with a recall. Really !!!!!!!. Also the engine light stays on - then I take it into the garage and they reset the light for it to go on again in less than 2 weeks. But that is also OK because the light is not flashing. I had a fender-bender and my insurance company has a relationship with Broadway, so that's where I was sent. I called on a Monday and they said I didn't need an appointment and could just bring it in for an estimate. I brought it in the following morning and noticed immediately the lack of mask wearing among staff. Then I had to wait more than 30 minutes before anyone could look at my car. That tells me that they really should schedule appointments. I happened to be off work that day so I could wait, but burning 90 minutes in a waiting room surrounded by people who only wear masks when they're directly dealing with a customer and leave them off otherwise is not exactly my idea of a nice vacation day. Finally I was asked to pull my car into their garage and they took a brief look at it before I again had to wait for a more thorough inspection. All told it was a lot of waiting to just have to come back, and in an environment that was not very safe. Plus, Broadway is notoriously expensive and that proved true when the estimate was complete, and even more so when the work was complete. The estimate was for $1870, but the final repair cost was $3300. It was covered by my insurance so I only paid my deductible but I wonder what impact a ballooning bill will have on my insurance premiums. Just because I didn't have to pay for it myself doesn't mean the cost doesn't matter. They told me they would call me if anything additional was found in the process of the repair and they never did, so does that mean that nothing additional was discovered and they were just $1500 off on their cost estimate? Or did they find additional issues and never follow through on communicating with me? Either way, that's poor business. On a positive note, I would never know by looks or handling that anything had happened to my car, but I didn't really notice much before it was fixed. They do good work, but I question their billing practices. Also, they told me the repair would take 3-4 days and they had it done in 2, which was nice. read more

Absolutely HORRIFIC customer service on so many levels. We will never, ever go back here. Jason would not return our phone calls, gave us an initial estimate that was over $1500 off, and then never approved the new amount with the owner (us) prior to doing the repairs. Weeks prior to bringing in the truck, they told us they would be in touch when the parts came in (they were delayed- no problem, that's out of their control) but they never called to schedule and we actually had to call the manager to get the service set up. Jason told us the job would take ONE day. At the end of the first day we called and there was no return call. The second day, we called several times throughout the day to see what was going on, with no response. We went in person after work and they still had the vehicle up on the jack. Jason had already left with no word, so there was nothing we could do. It actually took 3 days! Never update us on car repairs, even by the end of the day, and then he would just go home so we didn't know what was going on and when we could pick up the car. We will be filing a complaint with the BBB. We have further details if you want, but no one (even the manager) was interested in hearing everything, or offered any other explanation other than a very basic "we don't have enough people working", which is completely understandable but then at least return our calls and let us know what's going on! They could have even texted us! They stuck us without a vehicle for two extra days. Less than a week after paying the extra money for ALL of the supposed needed repairs, the same airbag light went off! We took it back to them to fix and they said it was an unrelated issue, so it would not be covered under warranty! Seems way too fishy to me. Again, we have been bringing our truck here for years but will never return due to this abhorrent experience. read more

Maybe I should just write positive reviews for auto repair experiences I have had - I would certainly cut the chance of getting carpal tunnel down to about zero that way... Broadway Automotive. What can I say. They, like so many others, screwed up. How about a water pump and thermostat replacement that leads to over-heating? In January. When the high for the day was -4 degrees Farenheit. Thank goodness it was winter or the engine block surely would have melted away to nothing while I was driving home (and then right back to the shop - of course). Or getting the fluid in the rear differential changed. This is something that youlear to do on the first day of auto shop class. Right? At least I thought so. Then why oh why after I have this service done and I drive home and park on my nice clean driveway (did I mention that the house was for sale?) and the next morning find that the rear end has puked about a pint of fluid onto my nice clean driveway? Oh Geez. There are more tales to tell, but the carpal tunnel and arthritis I get from whining about auto repair shops is just not worth it. 2 stars for convenience (they are pretty good about getting you an appointment - of course it takes two days minimum to fix anything) and a decent parts selection (which I needed since I was driving a money pit - Suburban). read more

Brought my 2013 Jetta TDI diesel in for it's first oil change here at the VW location. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. They did a good job I am just used to the treatment of the MINI dealership I go to in Appleton with my other car a MINI where they wash my car and go over all the future things I need to do coming up. Purchased a 2021 Silverado Custom Trail Boss from Broadway Chevrolet, October 2021. Salesperson promised Chevrolet Performance script carpeted floor mats. 3 months later, nothing but excuses. After 1st scheduled service vehicle was returned to me reeking of gasoline both inside and out. I honestly think these geniuses floored the accelerator for 5 minutes to try and damage the engine. Ordered a under rear seat storage box with combination lock. Picked it up in parts department. Someone had opened the box and locked the instructions, clips and combination in the box. Took my truck to collision to have scratches polished out and Luxcare paint product reapplied to paint. Upon receiving vehicle some polish compound was still on the truck and engine compartment had lots of polishing compound on engine and underside of the hood. They obviously didn't reapply the Luxcare product because there was still polishing compound on the paint. I brought all of this to the managers of each department and all I got was excuses and denials. This is how I was treated after spending over $51,000.00 for a 2021 Silverado Custom Trail Boss with Luxcare and additional 2 year bumper to bumper warranty for platinum protection. I made a huge mistake purchasing a vehicle here. I guess I have 5 years or 60,000 miles to see if they damaged the engine. read more

Bought a used Broadway certified vehicle. 4 Weeks later engine light was on. Brought it to service they said engine oil pressure was low they put a high performance oil filter on it no charge. 4 Weeks Later engine light comes on again same problem low oil pressure this time they say the oil pressure sensor is bad which was probably the problem the first time. Now no longer under warranty. I got stuck with a $500 repair. Broadway Certified means nothing. read more

As you can sometimes expect with a used vehicle, I had some sensors go out on the vehicle, after a few weeks of owning it. I was interested in purchasing a 2015 cadillac cts. I was looking at it for about a week and i had a hard time making up my mind. So i put $250 to hold it, they originally wanted me to put a lot more than that. They called me 3 times a day while i had it on hold and i felt very pushed. She told me " they won't be very happy if it's off the market and it doesn't sell" YOU'RE A CAR DEALERSHIP, WHAT THE HELL. Isn't that what you're supposed to do ???
