You absolutely feel that your clothes are being kept track of, unlike most other cleaners and tailors. Good, fair prices too, and there's usually parking in front of the shop. Since moving to the eastbay, I have had a difficult time finding a good dry cleaners. A year ago, I had family in town and my sister needed her dress cleaned for an event. I recalled seeing this Green Cleaners and decided to go there. They did an amazing job with her dress. I later decided to take my wool suit there for cleaning. It came back, crisp clean and it didn't have that gross chemical smell you get especially when cleaning wool. I have a brown leather jacket that was handmade for me in Morocco. Wore it to a restaurant and the waitress spilled red wine all over the back of my shirt and the jacket hanging on the back of my chair. Immediately took the shirt off and put it into a large baggie filled with water. Nothing to do for the jacket but wait until Monday for the dry cleaners to open. Washed the shirt when I got home and it was fine. Took the leather jacket to Berkland Cleaners in Berkeley, and was told wine is very difficult to remove, but they will try.
