Do not take your alterations here. They might be great for dry cleaning but I caution you to think 12 times before bringing in an alteration. I brought in two dresses that needed to be taken in a smidge... Dress 1: this was a strapless dress and in addition to taking the top and waist in, I asked them to make another adjustment which was to fold over and secure the top couple inches because the lining was a really pretty satin and I am smaller on top so there was a lot of extra fabric if left as is. They said "sure no problem, and we will take off the hanger straps so you don't see that anymore" Dress 2: this was an expensive splurge dress that I LOVED but bought a little too big because they were sold out in my true size. I brought it in and asked for them to take it in, again in the waist/top area. They started pinning it and I asked them to take it in from the sides to avoid messing up the pattern which was lined up in a specific way already. They said no we can't too that, it's too much work but assured me it would look fine. So I left the dress assuming that with all the positive reviews they probably knew best. I got both dresses back and they are both ruined. That's $900 for the dresses and 100$ for the alterations down the drain. Dress 1 had crooked seams where they folded the top over and added multiple seams to secure the fold. Which was not necessary and looks awful. They also didn't remove the little rubbery plastic hanger straps, which was their idea in the first place. I asked them to fix the seams and the strap things and they took the dress back. I got a call two days later saying they couldn't make any additional adjustments or the dress would unravel... highly unlikely. Dress 2 had more poorly done seams added and they used too tight of a stitch and the wrong color thread. Since it was too tight the fabric was pulling and you could see the bright white thread. There was also piping around the waist and on one side they didn't line these up so where they added a dart, there was almost a centimeter between the piping and they just didn't line up like you would expect. the other side lined up better but not great. BUT THE WORST THING OF ALL, they ripped the dress. They offered to repair the rip but it's on the side where they refused to alter the dress from in the beginning and to be honest I don't trust them to make the repairs since they messed both dresses up and came back and refused to fix dress 1 already. I think part of the problem is that the people who take the instructions and do the pinning don't appear to be the ones making the alterations. So what they tell you and what gets done might be two completely different things. Long story short, I now have two dresses I can't wear and will not be bringing any more clothes here. read more

We dropped off many garments here for dry cleaning and the estimated return time was 2 business days which is standard. They took over 4 business days to do the order and ruined one of the garments. They lied about the garment being ruined and said it was a delay and to come back the next day. We came the next day and explained that we were down to the wire for when we needed the garment and they didn't tell us it was damaged until we pressed them on where it was. They said it would take weeks to repair. The guest service recovery was minimal, they weren't apologetic or even thought it was an issue. Be aware and go elsewhere. read more

Really really good at simple alterations like hems and waist lines, etc. But they really excel as cleaners, and they are reasonably priced which seems to be something rare these days. And the staff is always personable and engaging. I drive out of my way to use them because they are Head and Shoulders above the competition out there. I came in with pants for alteration. After I was pinned for a fitting, I was quoted, and I proceeded with that. When I came in to pick them up, they did not fit at ALL. The work done clearly didn't reflect the initial pinning. I had to pay a second time for them to do another alteration. I tried to be understanding but it felt like they were putting the blame on me for "not asking for the additional alteration" during my initial consult. The only way I could have done this would have been if they were pinned to accurately reflect the work done. Overall the initial consult wasn't representative of the work required and cost involved. In the end after the second alteration they still don't fit right so I'll be taking them somewhere else. read more

I stumbled upon this location completely by chance while desperately searching for same-day alterations. I was in a bind and needed help fast. When I called, I explained my situation and was met with encouragement to come in so they could evaluate the issue and see if they could help. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Jessica--though she wasn't the person I spoke with on the phone, she turned out to be an absolute miracle worker. I showed her my dress: a beaded, sequined piece with a very high split and delicate tassel detailing. Without hesitation, she asked a few questions and immediately offered to hand sew the split down to a more modest length and she'd do her best to make it work. At that time I was desperate and would accept anything. Jessica spent about 15-20 minutes hand stitching the dress, freehand, with no measurements. I left hoping it would hold up for my event and let me tell you... it was flawless. I didn't even try it on until the night of, and it fit. The split was perfectly adjusted, the stitching held strong through dancing and a bunch of movement, and the dress looked untouched in terms of its original status. Jessica went above and beyond--not just with her craftsmanship, but with her kindness, speed, and willingness to help someone in a pinch. The entire staff was welcoming and supportive, but Jessica truly saved the day. I'll be recommending this place to everyone I know and will absolutely be returning for future needs. Don't use your debit or credit card at this cleaners the owner retains your information and will withdraw money from your account without consent. Rather than sending a reminder to pick up your items they use your account information. without consent which is illegal and could be reported to the attorney general for fraud. they have very nice employees but i don't trust the owners business ethics. read more

High-quality service! I discovered mold on my clothes, and took them to another drycleaner. They only succeeded in spreading the moldy smell uniformly across all my clothes! I asked them to clean them again, but there was no improvement. Then I took them to Great America cleaners. They said they would use their specific mold treatment and see what they could do. They called me several days later and asked if they could take a few extra days because two of the items still smelled and they wanted to try again! Now everything is back to normal. I brought in my vintage LV speedy for a cleaning. It was explained to me that it would be thoroughly cleaned inside AND outside. I had tried cleaning at home and did not do a good job. Upon receiving my item back, the canvas looked dull, clearly there was no oil or shine added. The inside was cleaned but the buttons on the interior still had build up - which demonstrated that it was just a surface level clean. The handles were stiff and scratched. The flaps on the side were soooo stiff that if they were bent I kid you not, they'd split in half. The lady explained "that it's a natural occurrence". I was clearly upset and explained that this was not what I expected and that the least that could be done was my interior buttons being cleaned to demonstrate that they actually did what I was paying $110 for. She said that they could send it back to be redone but I was not willing to send my vintage item back. She explained they could oil the flaps back in hope that the softness could return but I was too annoyed with it being given to me in this state to start with! I took my bag and tried to pay because I obviously don't want to be charged later (they have a card on file) nor do I want to be published as the customer who doesn't pay at stores in the area. But the lady explained that she would file a report, call me later and that payment wasn't necessary at this time. I asked that my card be removed on file. She verbally stated that it was removed. I do not recommend taking your pricey vintage items here. Save yourself the heartbreak and just go to LV. read more

They did a great job with the alterations and I appreciate getting notified that my order is ready. The staff is very friendly and went above and beyond with the service. She initially asked if I wanted the pants dry cleaned as well but I declined as I only needed them altered. However, when I picked up the pants, they were beautifully ironed, carefully hung on hangers and covered. I call that service!
