Upon arrival, we found the condo in filthy, deplorable condition. I've never seen a rental property in this condition before. I was shocked and at a loss for words. We had to deal with it because we moved halfway across the country, drove our moving truck ourselves, sleep deprived. When we brought it to Sujen's attention that the condo was not up to living standards, she proceeded to tell us that the condo was indeed clean, it had been cleaned and the carpet had been shampooed. Anyone who was there at the moment (look at the pictures posted) could see that was a complete lie. The walls, doors, and light switches were so dirty, I could see the dirt and prints of where people had been placing their hands. The condo was also in disrepair. Things were broken like the toilet paper holder, towel holder, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. She also told us if we did not like it, we could move. She gave us $500 off of rent for the first month. I had to go and BUY paint out of my OWN money and paint the bathrooms and kitchen that was painted in FLAT paint. In the bathroom, there was god knows what splattered and stained all over the walls. In the kitchen, there were grease stains and grease burned onto the ceiling. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I was taken complete advantage of. I was finally able to make it livable by painting the condo, cleaning the carpet, and doing some other fixer-upper things around the unit, but I shouldn't have been forced to do those things. The condo should have been up to standards before moving in. We were finally able to move out of the condo last week. The property is at the Townbluff Condos in Plano, Independence & Parker behind Tom Thumb. I would also stay away from this condo complex. The HOA is very slow to respond to the significant issues that are happening at the property. Mostly a drug problem. Don't move there if you want to smell marijuana smoke in your condo on a daily basis. I complained to the HOA multiple times and they did not want to deal with the issues, they kept telling me to call the Plano Police and the police didn't want to do anything about it. I am just grateful that I make enough money to have been able to move. Stay away from Sujen Chou, Eastar Realtors, and The Townbluff Condominiums. The house I was in also had major foundation problems and the homeowner admitted to repainting and redoing the flooring to cover up the foundation problems. I called Signature Leasing when the back splash in the kitchen had separated from the wall by 2 inches, due to the foundation problems, and their answer was to try to Superglue the backsplash back to the wall. Obviously, that did not work out well! When I moved out, they charged me for all types of things that were normal wear and tear and then charged me, per the homeowner, for painting and new flooring, when the homeowner himself told me he would have to replace the flooring and repaint due to the foudation problems. I will also add that the house was not repainted or the floors repaired when I moved in. There were numerous cracks in the sheetrock and in the ceramic flooring due to foundation prioblems.
