I would recommend BPA any time to anyone! I had been in the real estate business before I used Berkshire Property Agents, and so I chose a realtor very carefully, as well as asking around. So, I could not disagree more with the negative review. All of us who live in the Berkshires know how fabulous this agency is. First, look at their record. They are wildly successful and that's because: 1) Their realtors are super professional, experienced and on the ball. (Friendly too.) 2)They are inclusive, understanding young and old, city and country folks -- all kinds of buyers and sellers. 3) They will give sellers an honest appraisal of what their home's worth, as well as a looking at for-sale homes that will appeal to their clients, trying to match taste with what the market has available. My experience with realtor Deborah Levinson (and her colleagues) was perfect, so I'm a serious fan. She returned calls and emails quickly (and there were plenty). And before I put my place on the market, she showed me how to do a few things to make my home more salable, which one of the reasons it sold at full price in no time at all. (I know this won't always happen, but it helped!) I hear from friends that she's fabulous with buyers too. But, don't just listen to me: Locals know that this is a top notch agency -- with-it, super honest, experienced. Deborah "got" my house right away, so knew who would love it. Just wanted to say that when I needed to sell my property due to a divorce, BPA were able to do that for me, and it went pretty quickly. And then a year later when I wanted to buy a new home, I worked with Tom Lynch whom I can recommend wholeheartedly as one of the hardest working, on-top-of-it realtors I have ever met. I made offers on, and came very close to purchasing, 2 different houses, that for one reason or another didn't work out, but Tom stuck with me and helped me find the perfect place within my budget. He gave me great advice, listened patiently and talked me through everything, showed me many different places, and was always courteous, enthusiastic, and extremely prompt at returning my (many) calls and emails.
