Top 3 employers are Memorial Healthcare System, City of Hollywood, and Chewy. There are a ton of restaurants, bars, and shops at a Young Circle. It's known for it's broadwalk, which is 2.5-miles long, right by the beautiful beach. There are restaurants, hotels, playground, and bars on this broadwalk. The place is popular and gets packed with pedestrians, bikers, skaters, etc. There are about 60 parks and a few golf courses. Overall, a fun city with tons to do; it also attracts quite a bit of tourists too.

I REALLY wanted to try the Fettuccine a la Routa - where they make the fettuccine tableside in a cheese wheel. It wasn't being served on Christmas Eve as they "were too busy." Even at 8:00 pm, the restaurant was only half full. So that was disappointing. The website also says it's based on Sicilian Italian food. So to support Sicily, I wanted to have a Sicilian wine. Unfortunately, they only offer one bottle and none by the glass. So that was disappointing. Another of us wanted a clams appetizer. No. So that was disappointing. I ended up ordering a branzino livornese which was perfectly cooked. The sides - not pasta. Asparagus and mashed potatoes - again perfectly cooked - but I wanted pasta. So that was half disappointing. The bread - DE LISH!!! The butter, however, was way too cold and tore the bread apart. So that was disappointing. My bill - $75 (and they already include the tip) for bufala mozzarella appetizer (which was SO GOOD!!), branzino and a Negroni. WAY over-priced in my opinion. It should have topped out at $60. On the plus side, the service could not have been better, and a beautiful wooden / metal horse greets you - and it is a FANTASTIC piece of art!! I'm returning to Capriccio's.

Anthony's Runway is always such a fun night out. Between the live music, amazing atmosphere,…read moreattentive service, and strong drinks, it's one of those places that consistently delivers every time. The smoky mezcal cocktail was especially so good, smoky, smooth, and honestly one of my favorite drinks I've had lately. We ordered a bunch of dishes for the table and every single one was a hit. The local snapper "Runway Style" was incredible with olive oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes, and basil. It was super fresh and flavorful without feeling too heavy. The cacio e pepe with shaved black truffles was rich, cheesy, and definitely one of my favorite pastas of the night. We also got the chicken parm, which was classic comfort food in the best way, plus a perfectly cooked steak, Caesar salad, classic salad, and the beef carpaccio with arugula, mushrooms, pistachio, and black truffle. There wasn't one thing we didn't love, each dish was better than the next. I've been here a few times and the servers are always extremely attentive. Between the food, cocktails, music, and overall vibe, Anthony's Runway is definitely one of my favorite spots in Fort Lauderdale and somewhere I'll keep coming back to.

((Being very obvious from the staff we were in everyone's way)) Spent plenty of money on overpriced drinks, sit at some make shift table even with different chairs (so you can tell they did not plan for this). The hostess offered the first round of drinks on them- then took back the offer and NEVER took off the drinks. We ended up leaving because they didn't even deserve the service. Go to any other place besides here. Not worth the time or money

My wife and I dine here regularly, and every visit feels like coming home. The genuine hospitality and personal attention from the staff are what keep us coming back time and time again. The food is consistently outstanding. Whether we're trying a new dish or ordering one of our favorites, every meal is prepared with care, quality ingredients, and incredible attention to detail. You can tell there is a passion for great food behind everything that comes out of the kitchen. The bar program deserves special recognition as well. The bartenders work with fresh ingredients and premium spirits, and you can taste the difference immediately. Every cocktail is balanced, flavorful, and thoughtfully crafted rather than simply poured. It's clear they take as much pride in the drinks as the kitchen does in the food. The service team is equally impressive. The waitstaff is always friendly, attentive, and accommodating without ever making you feel rushed. They genuinely want you to enjoy your experience and go out of their way to make every visit memorable. The atmosphere is another reason this place stands out. The music is always perfectly curated, creating the ideal backdrop for an intimate dinner, date night, or evening out with friends. It strikes that rare balance of being lively and energetic while still allowing for conversation. What truly separates this restaurant from others is the sense of community. It's one of the few places where you're greeted with a hug when you arrive and often another when you leave. That level of warmth and authenticity simply can't be manufactured. If you're anywhere near South Florida, it's absolutely worth making the trip to Hollywood for an unforgettable dining experience. And whatever you do, don't leave without ordering the focaccia bread. It may sound simple, but it's one of the stars of the menu--fresh, flavorful, perfectly prepared, and the ideal way to start an exceptional meal. This is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where great food, great people, and great memories come together.
