While I've been to Anthony's Runway 84 many times and am always delighted, last night truly stood out. My sister is getting married in a small civil ceremony and was in town, so we decided to have a little "mini bachelorette" celebration with dinner. It was just my sister, my mom, my aunt, and me, and from the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly welcome and made my sister feel so special. Anthony stopped by our table multiple times, first to chat with my sister about her upcoming wedding and later to make sure everything was going well. Throughout the evening, we were also visited by what seemed like every manager in the restaurant, each taking a moment to congratulate her and share their well wishes! Those personal touches meant so much and made an already memorable evening even more special. The hospitality topped what is always an incredible meal. Anthony's Runway 84 consistently delivers outstanding food, atmosphere, and service, but this experience reminded me why we continue to return for life's celebrations, both big and small. As for the food, there were so many highlights. The beef carpaccio was a perfectly delicate, balanced, and fresh start to the meal. The chicken vodka parm was everything you could want: crispy, warm, and comforting while still feeling elevated. And if you save room for dessert, the pistachio cannoli and pistachio cake are absolute standouts and the perfect ending to an incredible evening! Anthony's Runway is always such a fun night out. Between the live music, amazing atmosphere, attentive service, and strong drinks, it's one of those places that consistently delivers every time. The smoky mezcal cocktail was especially so good, smoky, smooth, and honestly one of my favorite drinks I've had lately. We ordered a bunch of dishes for the table and every single one was a hit. The local snapper "Runway Style" was incredible with olive oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes, and basil. It was super fresh and flavorful without feeling too heavy. The cacio e pepe with shaved black truffles was rich, cheesy, and definitely one of my favorite pastas of the night. We also got the chicken parm, which was classic comfort food in the best way, plus a perfectly cooked steak, Caesar salad, classic salad, and the beef carpaccio with arugula, mushrooms, pistachio, and black truffle. There wasn't one thing we didn't love, each dish was better than the next. I've been here a few times and the servers are always extremely attentive. This place is the worst. We booked a reservation 3 months in advance for a larger group. We stood at the bar for over an hour waiting. ((Being very obvious from the staff we were in everyone's way)) Spent plenty of money on overpriced drinks, sit at some make shift table even with different chairs (so you can tell they did not plan for this). The hostess offered the first round of drinks on them- then took back the offer and NEVER took off the drinks. We ended up leaving because they didn't even deserve the service. The makeover which occurred a few years ago is very nice and the live music is hard to hear because the restaurant is loud. I was a patron for years and enjoyed the complimentary muscles and salad which are both gone. The food is very good and expect to have some for the next day. Rui was our server and very friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. The service from him was very good and he was very pleasant to deal with. Parking is $8 and all in all the veal dish was good, the fish dish was very good and the pasta with cauliflower was not as good as I remember but good. The highlight of the evening was the artichoke which was delicious. The cheese cake was as good as I have had in any Italian restaurant. The escarole and beans were wonderful. I came here to celebrate my besties birthday and it was the perfect place with really great food! The vibe is a mix of old school Italian with speakeasy vibes near the back and the bar area. It's a very cool space and I recommend walking around to see the different areas. The bar is a nice place to spend some time before or after your meal and they also have live music in the main back area. We started with the tableside Caesar which of course you can never go wrong with. The escarole and white beans were one of my favorite dishes of the night. They were creamy but the escarole still had a great crunch. The sauce was salty (in a good way) and flavorful and really pulled everything together. Every dish is ginormous, so I highly recommend eating family style and sharing everything. The Sunday feast dish was fun to get because you got to try all of their meats including the sausage, braciole, pork rib, and the meatballs, which were very good. It also comes with rigatoni, which I was very pleasantly surprised that it was cooked to al dente perfection. The star of the night was the vodka chicken parm - it was so big!! But full of flavor and absolutely a bombshell. I want to go back just to try that dish again. We finished the meal with a celebratory cannoli which was filled with a fresh filling that was not too sweet and everyone enjoyed it. The server was very attentive and was helpful with helping us choose what we should order for our large group. My oh my, that meal experience was fabulous. From the almost mandatory valet to the flaming sparkler desserts, this is fine dining with a very friendly, family feel. This place is great for a special occasion because the service is outstanding. We had a reservation but arrived early to enjoy the full experience from bar to table. The ladies behind the bar were dressed like flight attendants. The bar area is beautiful and you could eat your meal there too. Our table was in the main dining room which could be rather loud but because everyone was busy eating and quietly talking, it seemed pretty quiet. Our server (Rui) was simply the best. Definitely 5 star service! Not only did he advise us on their best dishes, he table served us and boxed up our many leftovers because we ordered too much food. We started with the Meatball appetizer and the Arancini but since we were a party of four, he also was able to accommodate us with an extra arancini since there is only three to an order and they are golfball sized. The Classic Meatball is a great sharing appetizer or a meal for a person on Keto. (Two giant meatballs). For our entrées, we ordered the Branzino for two. Really the best fish I have EVER had. The Zuppa Di Pesce Fra-Diavolo was also loaded with plenty of calamari, clams, shrimp, mussels, and a whole lobster tail which thankfully Rui was able to properly divide up that huge dish. Went to Anthony's Runway 84 the other night for the first time and had an alright experience. We had a reservation for the dining room and were seated in a corner, so we couldn't see the stage from our table. At first, we were a little annoyed and were told we'd have to wait another 30 minutes if we wanted to switch tables. In the end, it wasn't too bad because it made it easier to hear each other. The bread that was served was really good. We ordered the mussels as an appetizer, and they were good overall. Most of the mussels were small, but the spice level was perfect and the sauce itself was great. We shared the chicken parm, which was pretty good and very filling. The breading was excellent, and the meat was tender. We also tried the ricotta cheesecake for the first time, and it was really damn good, would definitely order that again. Overall, the experience was okay. The waitress was really nice and helpful and answered all of our questions. I'd say the price didn't necessarily match the value or the experience we had. We got to experience the tail end of the lunch crowd and then watched the lights dim as we were leaving and the dinner guests began arriving. It really highlighted the upscale, timeless vibe. I was bummed to miss the live music, but that just gives me a reason to come back. Our server, Seth, truly elevated the experience. He walked through the menu with us, was very honest, and never tried to oversell or steer us in the wrong direction--which I really appreciated. For appetizers, we had the tableside Caesar and calamari, both fresh and well executed. For entrées, we shared the bolognese, chicken vodka pasta, and beef braciole--every single dish was excellent. Bonus tip: ask for an extra side of sauce, it's such a nice touch. Seth sliced and served everything tableside, which added to the experience, and plates and utensils were changed between courses--another detail that didn't go unnoticed. I was looking for a classy, delicious, Christmassy place to take my BF for dinner for his birthday. Thanks to IG I found Anthony's Runway. The images of their beautiful Holiday decorations and reviews of the food made the decision easy. Without any issues, I was able to get a reservation for us. We arrived and immediately were greeted and shown to the hostess. Our table was ready in no time, and we were seated at a comfortable table, with enough room to accommodate all the food, drinks. The room was also lively but not loud to avoid us from having a conversation. Even with the beautiful live music they had in the Bar area, and sounding on the main dining room, we still could talk comfortably and hear all our server said. Now that I mentioned him, I must thank him for his wonderful and friendly service. His name is Seth, and he was so welcoming, nice, ready to give recommendations, and happy we chose to celebrate with them. He gave us a little history of the place, since it was our first time there, and without being pushy recommended great dishes for us to try. Some of those were the Italian Stuffed Peppers, and the Cacio e Pepe pasta. Also, we were very grateful he warned us about the portions and encouraged us to share. Even then we had leftovers, and not complaining because everything was amazing. Excellent service all throughout, which made the experience stand out even more. Must mention that pasta again because the flavor was wonderful. And enough to share. We also shared the filet mignon which was cooked exactly as ordered and delicious. And the fried potatoes, also highly recommended. They also had some fun Christmas special drinks, and incredible sounding specials. To end our night, they brought out a cannoli as a birthday gift, and we also had the Affogato. In between each dish they would come and clean our plates and table, and the entrees were not brought out until they were sure we were done with the appetizers. I recently visited Anthony's Runway for my husband's birthday on a Thursday night, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The ambiance gives a luxurious, mafia-exclusive atmosphere. WOW! What an experience at Runway 84! The interior of this Italian supper club is beautiful. On a Friday night at 8pm, the bar was packed with fellow guests waiting for their table. The live singer and band were so good and made for such a fun atmosphere. We were a group of 14 and were seated in the front room, away from the band. I was here for a 40th birthday, where my friend had already picked all the food for the table. And wow, was there a lot of food! A few standout starters for me was the crispy calamari and perfectly dressed Caesar. The truffle pasta was my favorite entree, but honestly I was so full by the time we got to the entrees I didn't come close to trying everything! Our service team was prompt and friendly, and the manager who had coordinated the amazing group dinner with my friend's husband for her birthday made sure to stop by. I waited a little over a week to write and share this because I was and am genuinely so upset about our experience at Anthony's. Let me start by saying I am always happy to pay premium prices for a nice experience - but the service needs to match the price tag, and unfortunately Anthony's could not even do the bare minimum. I help plan events for a living and have traveled extensively eating in nice places all over the world so I know how this is supposed to go. I was helping plan a bachelorette party for my best friend and Anthony's is a spot her family has loved for a very long time. We had a large group 14 people, so responsibly I booked this in February. Our reservation was on April 30th, I even confirmed the booking week of ( I know what I am doing). We arrive 5 minutes early since it was made clear to me on the phone when I booked if we were late they would charge us. Gave the hostess my name and was told they were getting our table ready and we could wait in the bar until the text me that it's ready. All 14 of us go to the bar, as a large party we are clearly in the way but we get drinks- which are quite pricy but we are celebrating. 30 minutes passes and no table so I go up and ask, they said it should not be much longer. 45 minutes passes and someone else goes to ask, now the manager comes over and makes some comment about how in the fine print of the booking you may need to wait 30-50 minutes for your reservation ( I booked via the phone but ok). The manager was very rude and condescending, not what I expect from a nice establishment. We keep waiting, at this point have spent hundreds of dollars at the bar. Now the bride is upset and goes to ask, they say they will cover a round of drinks for the inconvenience (which later they take back..). Then the manager pulls me into the dining room and points at a table with a group still seated with deserts and drinks and says when they get up we will make your table... it's been over an hour at this point. And this is the brief version, there were many more disrespectful comments and being brushed off. We finally got to the table and get wine at this point everyone is upset, tired, hungry - we waited 1.5 hours for a table we had booked months in advance. We ended up paying for the wine and just leaving - it was not worth spending our money here. Honestly this was a nicer more abbreviated version of what I would have shared a week ago. We were a party of 14 people, celebrating, we were literally planning to spend thousands of dollars on food and drinks. Aside from poor service and rude management (servers and bartenders were lovely this is a management and organizational issue) this was a bad business move. You lost a high paying table, your server lost out on earnings by losing our business and you lost loyal customers. I'm very glad we left when we did, this is the most unprofessional dinning experience I've ever had to deal with. I wish I could give them zero stars. Don't bother with this place. Cool place to go if you like really loud environments and don't want or need to talk to your guests. It has a neat speakeasy style ambience but on a large scale. The food was poor and the management is poorer. We had a reservation well in advance for a larger party at 10 PM on a Saturday night--didn't get sat til 11:30. We were treated like walkins and there were many other groups also waiting to be sat from their reservations. Management didn't seem to care and was more concerned with the idea of having to kick drunk people out of their tables in order to honor the reservations they took. From what I understand, this nonchalance about timing and seating is pretty common. When they finally sat us, we were put at a table that had the coldest air I've ever felt blowing on the whole thing. It was genuinely shocking how cold it was--I wouldn't even expect them to have a table set up there, it was so intolerable. Our whole party was freezing and of course the food became cold rather quickly as a result as well. The food is expensive and nothing special. I ordered the escarole and beans which I found to be very salty and too thick. The chicken parm was tasty but average, and even it being a family size portion shouldn't have warranted the $50+ price tag accompanying it. There were lots of older men with hookers and older parties getting loudly drunk. This isn't really our scene but could genuinely be a fun time if you don't mind that or if you are looking for it. The music was great and ambience was tastefully done, besides the ventilation in the main room being insanely frigid. Overall, if you want just a fun time and to spend a lot of money, this would be a good place for you. Just make sure to factor in an hour wait at least for any kind of reservation. But if you are looking for a nice Italian place with good food and good service, run the other direction because this is NOT it! read more

Five stars without a doubt. We are arrived a little earlier to our reservations and the host had a table available. But ...The table we were given was tucked at the end of the bar area that was crowded with people standing in the bar area. We requested to not be seated there. The host said she could accommodate but it would be a 30 minute wait. That was ok! We got a glass of wine as we waited and the time went by fast. We were texted with a table available right away. This table was around the bar but not tucked away in the back and now we had a better view of the band as well. Which we wanted to experience.. Our waitress was Cristy. ( how can I forget... it's my name) she came by immediately to introduce herself and take our drink orders. Wine of course! Right away we were given water and complementary bread that was delish. It was like a pizza flavor bread. It melted in your mouth. I was trying to not eat the full break stick but I could not hold back. As appetizer we had the homemade mozzarella that came with sliced tomato and prosciutto. Let me say it was delicious. The blends of taste and freshness was amazing. As for the main dish we decided to share a plate of the chicken vodka Parmigiana and spicy penne Rigatoni. Let me add that the Chicken Parm can be easily be shared between 4 people. Cristy actually cut the chicken into 4 portions for us to be able to split easier. The taste on each bite was divine. So fresh and not dry at all. A good blend of pasta sauce that does not over power any taste. Our reservation was at 8:30 pm so it was good because we got to experience the live band that also walked around the tables. The vibe is dimmed, the walls have pictures like an old Italian style look but still looking classic and modern. Do make reservations well in advance... we went Saturday, Jan 31 and that was the 1st Saturday available and had the reservations were made in December. Valet parking available. Wow. What an experience. Drive here from W Palm and was worth the long drive. This for sure was an incredible and enjoyable evening. Ambiance was amazing. Got seated in a booth which was elevated and server was Joey. He took us through the menu covered everything and even spoke to us about the history of the establishment and was proud to explain the renovations and people that frequent the restaurant. Now the food. Caesar table side was insane. So fresh. It's a must. We then ordered the NY strip, twice baked potato, broccolini, vodka chicken parm, Sunday feast (OMG) and snapper "runway style". Clearly had leftovers, but every dish was so so good. Can't forget the bread basket too. Our server Rui was beyond impressive with his recommendations to his attentive service. Where do I begin? Parking & Valet: My first impression of this location was that I was disappointed that the only way to park was Valet. You could try to park in the Walgreens next door, but I didn't want to risk my car getting towed. Ambiance & Venue: The interior of this restaurant is a truly unique experience. The venue is beautiful, and live music is played every night. I only got a photo of the outside, but it's worth coming here just for the look alone. This restaurant is huge. Menu, Ordering, & Pricing: I would like to give a shoutout to our server, Chris K. He is so young, but carries himself so professionally, and he really impressed us. Ordering was an interesting experience. If you are coming here on a casual night, like my friends and I did, you're 100% NOT going to walk out spending less than $100 on the bill. The menu is designed to share with your friends and family. Portions are very large; they can feed about 4 people just fine, and of course, they are pricey. I couldn't even tell you the name of what we ended up ordering, except that it was a large platter of pasta a la vodka, and orange, tangy chicken and sausage. I can't eat anything with pork in it, and sadly, our waiter recommended it to us anyway (after I told him about my allergy.) I was eating the chicken when I noticed the sausage I had served myself on my plate. Had I not asked Chris what it was, I would've eaten something I am allergic to and not allowed to eat. Chris profusely apologized and took responsibility for his mistake. He surprised us with a free cannoli dessert, and all was ok. I would like to be transparent with my experience and let people know that when it comes down to allergies, it is the person's responsibility to understand what they are eating and not to put blame on someone else for a simple mistake. Chris is 21 years old, and besides the mistake, he carried himself very professionally and took ownership of his mistake. Overall Thoughts: My overall thoughts were that this restaurant is a wonderful experience for an OCCASION (whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or date night). I would not come here on a casual night again, but the ambiance and the service were impeccable. I took off one star because of the pricing and the little mistake. Honestly, I paid my share $44, with my friends, and only ate 1/3 of the vodka pasta and 1/3 of the cannoli. Feel free to comment on my post if you have any questions. My husband took me to Anthony's Runway 84 for my birthday and wow... what a night. We hadn't been back since the gorgeous renovation. It's so stunning & chic but still has that old school Italian American quality. We had a reservation and waited a bit. We grabbed drinks and stood by the very full bar to enjoy the live music. The singer and band were incredible. We ordered the carpaccio which I always order when I see it on a menu. It was, by far, the best carpaccio I have had maybe ever? I will be thinking about that carpaccio until next time. Their bolognese was always my favorite. We don't eat pork and I'm not sure if it always had pork or if the recipe changed so I sadly ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni and it was FANTASTIC. We also got the branzino and it was perfect. The service was amazing as it always been truly. It matched the caliber of the restaurant. Such a fun, celebratory night. I'm already excited to come back. read more

How can a place with a great reputation far exceed expectations? Let me tell you.. I didn't know where we were going for my birthday. When we exited on state road 84 I still wasn't sure. I couldn't picture what nice restaurants were in this part of town. When we pulled up to the valet though I smirked. I had wanted to go to Runway for a longtime, what a perfect night to make it happen. We got a spot in their large room. We came at a fun time of year. Anthony's seems to like to dress up a bit on the holidays. The whole place felt Christmassy. Not to mention there was a 4 piece jazz band that was slipping for holiday music into the mix. Our excellent server Seth broke down the meu and had things out quick. We had stuffed peppers for an appetizer. not attractive, but they lived up to being a bit different. The dishes are a decent size(and we we warned this), so we got a teak to split and the pasta. steak was really great, the Malfadine (lasagna type noodles) with real black truffle was stupendous. Things finished of with a Cannoli, perfect. We want to go back again soon, and check out their classy bar. maybe get a better view of the band too. read more

After making a reservation more than a month in advance, planning my work schedule around it, and hiring a babysitter, my wife and I were excited for our first visit to Runway 84. When we arrived, the ambiance immediately impressed us. We arrived about 30 minutes early on a Saturday evening and enjoyed a drink while waiting for our table. At $24 for an Old Fashioned, the price was steep, but I was willing to pay for what I expected would be a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, things went downhill when we were seated. Instead of being placed in the main dining room, we were taken to a small table in the far back corner of the bar area, directly next to a staff computer terminal. The table had no view of the stage, no view of the main dining room, and was surrounded by crowds of people ordering drinks while waiting to be seated. It felt more like overflow seating than the experience we had anticipated when making a reservation so far in advance. I politely told the host that I was unhappy with the location and asked whether we could wait for a table in the actual dining room. We returned to the hostess stand, where a manager informed me that our table was considered part of the "main dining room" and that there were no alternatives available. I explained the circumstances and that I was willing to wait longer, but my concerns were dismissed. When I asked to speak with someone else, I was told there was nobody else to speak to. Another manager then came over, but the interaction only became more confrontational. Rather than trying to understand our concerns or offer any solution, he was dismissive and rude. At that point, it became clear that customer service was not a priority. What disappointed me most wasn't the table itself--it was how we were treated. Restaurants occasionally make mistakes or face seating challenges, especially on busy weekends. What separates great establishments from mediocre ones is how they handle those situations. Runway 84 failed completely in that regard. The restaurant may have a beautiful atmosphere and a strong reputation, but based on our experience, the hospitality did not come close to matching the image. After the way we were treated, I have no interest in returning and would not recommend it to others. read more

Came here to celebrate the holidays with close friends. The seating was a little cramped and service was a tad slow but all in all the experience was great. Our food was tasty and the Christmas decor paired with the love music gave us a sense of holiday nostalgia. read more

Some of the best baked clams oregnata a real surprise. Both the chopped salads and regular Italian salads were perfect. Very large portions are standard here. We ordered veal parmesan...chicken rosie...meatballs...everything done perfectly the service was great they have 2 people serving and taking care of every table. It's a supper club with live music. Extremely loud and we were in the second dining room in the corner. The main dining room you're going to need ear cuffs yes it's that loud. Other than that..a great fun dining experience...I think once a year for us is perfect. read more
