Homemade donut - to die for!

Amazing Romanian Cuisine! My boyfriend is Romanian so we had to check this place out. The mamaliga was so good! It reminded me of my mom's cornmeal rolls she used to make for breakfast. My favorite dish was the sarmalute the minced meat inside the cabbage leaves reminded me of canelones but even better because this is gluten free! The flavors were out of this world! Portions are pretty big so plan on sharing or take home for great next day lunch. Service was great. The owner can by to check on us twice. The finale was literally the cherry on top with the papanasi - a traditional fried old fashion donut with farmer's cheese (much like a mascarpone cheese) sweet sour cream and sour cherry jam. Parking on the street is often difficult to find so plan to park a street behind. Can't wait to come again for more Romanian cuisine.

When you have your Hands Tied and Backed-Up Against a Wall.. You don't know where to Look, How to Find, or What Might Happen.. On Valentine's Day Weekend we were Invited to a Family Friend Play along with 4 other Close Friends. Our Mission was to Find a Selected Dining Restaurant for a Party of 6 within the Distance of the Event of the Night. The Search was On, On, then on... With Valentine's Day and Err.. Shall we say Picky Eaters in the Mingle we had quite the Struggle to Find a Place for the 6 of us. Long Story Short, Villa Romana came to the Rescue! We finally found a Booking Available and Reserved! Parking was found in a Nearby Lot, Located on Hollywood Blvd it was an Easy Walk. Once we Entered the Restaurant it was Beautifully Decorated with Booths and Larger Party Size Tables Set-Up to keep in mind; they do Accommodate Large Parties. The Staff was Extra Inviting and Kept Up with our Tables Orders, Delivery, Needs, and Exiting Plates! This was a Huge Plus to See! The Flow was Effortless Over the Table through the Drinks/Appetizers/Entrees! The Food Presentation along with the Quality Taste left us All Impressed! While Ordering My Pappardelle Porcini & Truffle I was Asked if I wanted to Add Chicken or Shrimp; I Asked if I could have Added Veggies Instead and they were More than Happy to Accommodate! We had a Very Nice Dinner here for Our Party of 6! Thank You Villa Romana for coming to the Rescue and making Our Night better than a Nearby Sports Bar~

I was staying nearby and I was craving Italian. I Uber Eats the food and I have to tell you it's one of the best takeout foods I've eaten. Ordered the spicy penne la vodka with chicken The chicken was moist, perfectly cooked The vodka sauce was outstanding Reminded me of New York

We were going to the theater and had to have an early dinner so we decided to give this restaurant a try. I must say everybody enjoyed their meal. The service was quick and efficient so we could get out in time for the theater. I must say it was early so they didn't have a lot of customer I actually went there because I read up that it was Hollywood restaurant month unfortunately it was too late for lunch and it was a Sunday and the dinner menu would've taken too long to eat. . I had a Greek salad with shrimp very good. We also had a pasta with shrimp which they said was excellent and we had a seafood pasta which they also enjoyed and an eggplant Parmesan appetizer, which was also enjoyed parking on the street paid parking. also have valets at $10.

Food is okay, it's really regular the bread came with the food which is not expected. Waited like 10 minutes to be greeted. Hosts is weird and doesn't initiate conversation. Service is good Singer is great!

Stumbled upon this great stop in downtown Hollywood one night with a friend. It's beautifully decorated and very welcoming. They had a sign outside promoting live music so we decided to stop in for dinner. The drinks and food were wonderful. Service was fast and the servers were so helpful and friendly. Def would recommend!

What a wonderful place! Came with my family for a birthday (party of 14) and it may be our new celebration spot. The ambiance was nice and elegant, the food was fantastic and drinks (lunches martini special) was well balanced & well worth the price tag. There's not many places in Hollywood that pack this much of a punch. Our server Lily was attentive, patient and accommodating. Their happy birthday celebration came with a bubble gun, thought that was so fun! The kids loved it too! Can't wait to go back and check out their live music on Fridays and Saturday! Great for a date night or a girls night out as well!

    Mahi Mahi & Mashed Potatoes

It was a beautiful day in Hollywood and I was craving a salad. I chose this place once I saw they had a 3 course lunch special. It was pretty slow at this time so I was able to be seated immediately - I chose the patio to people watch. The server and host were great and very attentive. I ordered a sangria (which would've tasted better in a wine glass), a Caesar salad, blackened mahi with mashed potatoes and tiramisu for dessert. The sangria tasted like juice, salad was finely chopped and the dressing was off. The mahi was pretty decent as well as the mashed potatoes. The tiramisu was the highlight, light and airy yet delicious. It was good but overall left a lot to be desired.

    Spencer R.

The service was great and our waiter was friendly. We enjoyed the fine dining at reasonable prices, and the atmosphere made for a romantic dinner. If you get dessert, the tiramisu is worth it!

The ambiance is very upscale, welcoming, and sets the tone for a memorable visit. Joey the bartender was very professional, kind, extremely welcoming and very apologetic for the Happy Hour lounge being closed the day I visited which was bit disappointing. However, my friend and I still decided to stay and enjoy a cocktail. As we were leaving, we met Tommy the manager, who was just as nice & gave us a tour of the dinner area which I would love to try one day. He briefly chatted with us and gave us his business card. Everything about this place was top-tier. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a classy night out with exceptional service or just a few appetizers & a cocktail.

From the moment we walked in and were handed a glass of prosecco, it was clear this would be something different. There was an intentionality to everything--the pacing, the ambiance, the way each course was introduced. It didn't feel transactional. It felt ceremonial. Each of the six courses represented a different European destination (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and Greece), and what made it extraordinary wasn't just the quality of the food--which was exceptional--but the way the environment transformed alongside it. Lighting, visuals, sound, and narration worked together in a way that made every dish feel contextual and meaningful, rather than simply plated. Every part of this immersive experience contained instruments working in harmony to amplify the meaning of each course. The courses were beautifully composed and balanced. Nothing felt excessive or forced. Each plate served a purpose in the broader narrative, and each wine or cocktail pairing elevated the dish rather than competing with it. What stood out most, though, was how present it made you feel. In a world where most dinners blur together, this one didn't. Time slowed down. You became immersed. Fully engaged. The service was impeccable--attentive, warm, and deeply knowledgeable without ever feeling rehearsed or overbearing. You felt guided, not served. Tommy (the owner/proprietor) and his staff were unquestionably five-stars. By the end, you remembered how it felt to be transported somewhere else without ever boarding a plane. It's worth every moment.

We came with the family during the first half of the day and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant specializes in Uzbek and Russian cuisine and is located in a beautiful spot by the lake. There is plenty of parking, and one of the highlights is the outdoor terrace overlooking the water. The view is peaceful and makes for a very relaxing meal. I also loved the entrance design. There's a large decorative mirror surrounded by flowers, and the restaurant's logo is reflected in it. It's a thoughtful detail that immediately creates a welcoming atmosphere and makes a great photo spot. The restaurant was clean, the staff was polite, and service was fast. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly. I ordered a cappuccino, two khachapuri, and accidentally ordered Kharcho soup when I actually meant to order Solyanka. Thankfully, the Kharcho turned out to be delicious, so no regrets! My husband ordered a steak, while the kids were happy with chicken nuggets and fries from the kids' menu. For dessert, I finally got to try the Pavlova that I had seen on their Instagram page, and it did not disappoint. I've also heard that they host live entertainment and performances on weekends, which makes me want to come back and experience the restaurant in the evening. Overall, we left very satisfied and had a lovely family lunch. Thank you, Aida, for welcoming us so warmly. This review is a little overdue, but the visit was memorable and definitely worth sharing.

The Pina Colada was a bit too sweet, the rosé, perfect. After we finished our drinks I went in search for our waiter once again. He was nowhere to be found, so I asked another server if we could order a salad, she insisted on finding him for us. Out of nowhere he appeared, and I no longer had any patience. We asked to move tables, for a new server and this is where a true five star service started. We ended with a fantastic, attentive and friendly waiter. When we arrived and walked through the front door, the restaurant was completely empty... No host, no staff, no one in sight. We waited around for about 15 minutes before deciding to walk around the property, where we eventually found a side entrance near the bar with two employees. When we told them we were there to dine, they seemed genuinely shocked by the size of our group, despite the fact that we reminded them we had a reservation. We were then asked to wait another 15 minutes while they prepared a table. During this time, the air conditioning inside was not on, which is unacceptable given this is South Florida and the heat can be relentless. We ended up asking to sit outside, which was surprisingly cooler. Once seated, we immediately noticed bird droppings on the floor and on a wall/pillar just inches away from our table. It was very off-putting and confusing why this wasn't cleaned, especially since the outdoor area is clearly meant for guests. Service continued to be disorganized. After sitting for several minutes, we were finally asked if we wanted anything to drink, and we requested water. Immediately after that, we were asked what we wanted to order for dinner -- before we even had time to look at the menu. It felt rushed and poorly timed. When the food began coming out, it arrived in random spurts rather than together. Half of our group received their meals and started eating, while the other half waited over 20 minutes. At one point, more of our food was brought out -- but instead of being served to us, it was left sitting on the bar nearby for about 15 minutes. We had to ask three separate times if that food was ours, get ignored, then FINALLY be told, "Oh yeah, sorry, we'll serve you now." By that point, the food had been sitting out, exposed, and had gone cold. Not to mention we were already outside so I'm sure some flies were on and around the food. The server attempted to give us the food and we told him it was cold. He then said he would "warm it up". We had to explicitly ask for fresh plates, which should never have been necessary. By the time the replacements arrived, the rest of the party had already been waiting 30+ minutes after others had finished eating. The entire experience just felt chaotic. There was obviously a noticeable inconsistency in service. A table next to us appeared to be receiving extremely attentive service, while our table struggled to get even basic needs met. I think they may have been Georgian so they got special treatment. One of the particularly frustrating issues was water -- all of us were drinking water, and not once were our glasses refilled until the very end, when they were completely empty and we were visibly thirsty. Even then, we had to ask for more water!! Because this was a birthday celebration, we had originally planned on getting dessert, but given everything that had happened, we decided to just ask for the check. Getting our check took an additional 20+ minutes to arrive. To add to the confusion, another staff member repeatedly brought food to our table that none of us had ordered, forcing our server to redirect him to the correct tables. It seemed like nobody was trained?? With all that said, the food and drinks themselves were very good overall and tasted unique compared to standard offerings in the area. Our waitress was also very kind, and it was clear she was overwhelmed and likely did not have enough support to properly manage everything. The location is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, with fantastic views of the surrounding buildings and nearby water in Fort Lauderdale. Unfortunately, the lack of organization, cleanliness, and basic service overshadowed what could have been a great experience. I really am rooting for them and hoping they can get it together because it has potential.
