I go to this car wash because it's close to where I live. Today, I got a wash and wax (for $18) and didn't have singles or change for the vacuum. I asked if they could charge me $2 more for money for the vacuum. I was then given a lecture that they're not an ATM and they are charged x.x% for credit card charges. He COULD give me tokens for $2 which I agreed to because I needed tokens for the vacuum. I simply asked a yes/no question. Can I have money for the vacuum or could I not have money for the vacuum? I didn't expect to get a lecture on the microeconomics of car washes and credit cards. Every time I go to this car wash I get an attitude. You're a car wash. You provide a needed service but you're a car wash. I don't think you should be having the power trip that you're having. I guess I'm going elsewhere from now on. read more

I just bought a brand new black truck. I asked them if it would be safe to run it through there. They said yes !! the next day I looked at my new $70,000 truck and it was completely scratched up on the sides. I called crying!! the owner Frank told me I should've bought a different color truck that black shows everything he was rude. He told me to bring my truck back in a sarcastic , condescending tone Didn't offer to help me at all. He acted like because I brought a black truck. It was my fault!!! now I have to pay $158 to another car wash to buff out the scratches they put on I decided not to go back and make my life miserable by dealing with this rude man. I only pray they can fix it and make it look better again. I just spent $70,000 on a new truck and this place ruined my truck never go there unless you have a beater I'll never go back there again. Do not bring your car. They are rude and have old equipment that put scratches in your paint. There's two bad scratches also that are i through the clearcoat. Rude and condescending- stay away I called and was quoted a rate of $249 which is higher than I typically paid but thought I would get the absolute best detailing job ever for that price. I was woefully wrong. The scratches came up as a discussion before I made an appointment and again before I picked up the car. When I got there and noted he had done 1 but not 3 others he told me was additional. I told him I was sent her specifically got that reason and he basically told me I was crazy and called me a liar. I just want to share with you all my horrible experience with at the Downtown car wash and warn anyone going there. Took the car to be washed and did not notice until the end when the guys were drying the car, that the frame to my passenger-side side mirror popped off. The drying guy couldn't get it back on (as it looked cracked) and told me to go around and talk to the owner. I told the owner, the guys in front couldn't get it back on, but maybe he could help (thinking this must happen from time to time.) He immediately got defensive, and said he is not responsible for any damage, and then went on to accuse me that the mirror was already broken and it was my fault it came off! He then went on to point out other damage to my car (like car door dings) to back up his claim that it was my fault! I could not believe that this was his professional response to a customer who simply wanted the mirror fixed. The tipping point for me came when he then pulled out his cell phone to take pictures of the damage-- to which I asked incredulously, do you think I'm going to sue you over this???? How I kept my calm through this is amazing, but I couldn't believe that a business owner in a town I live in and love would treat anyone this way. On a final note, apparently this establishment has had numerous complaints in the past (and yet has been in business for 45 years??!!) Yelp and Google all post negative reviews, yet why would I think to check that when I would just want to support a local business? So please be advised my friends of Nextdoor. Ever since they changed owners, I hate it there.... I went there to clean out my car and get a wash. As I was cleaning out my car, i realized i didn't have my license/wallet on me (in true Jersey fashion). So, when i was done cleaning out my car, my intention was to run home and grab my wallet-- i still had vacuuming to do, and I wanted to get a wash in also. BUT... as I was throwing away garbage, the owner approaches me. I smile and say "hello". He said to me, "did you vacuum your car? did you get a wash?" I stated I did not and that I was running home to get my wallet so that i could. This man.... THIS MAN... told me he was calling the police because i was "illegally dumping". As if that was not enough, THIS MAN told me to get inside the dumpster, crawl around, and retrieve all the garbage I deposited in there.... Hes pointing to each thing in the dumpster and saying "that's, yours... that's yours...I want it out of here.. who's going to pay for my refuse bill?" I promise you I will NEVER go back. I went to this car wash today to get the road salt off of my car. I stopped off at the vacuum cleaner to do that first. I put in some coins...nothing happened. I hit the coin return to try again, and only half of my coins came back. I noticed that the coins were stuck, so I hit the side of the machine to free them, and try again. When I hit the machine I heard someone yelling at me. I thought that he was coming over to help me. Instead I was verbally accosted by a man who identified himself as the owner. He told me that I was vandalizing his vacuum, and I had better f%$#&^g leave before he calls the cops on me. I tried to explain what happened expecting him to help me, but he just kept in getting more and more abusive. I just told him to have a nice day and left. Crazy stuff. I guess he has enough $, and doesn't need mine. I will never go back. Customer service. Ha. I wish I could give him zero stars. read more

The owner is probably the nastiest guy I've encountered in a long time. When I moved to the area, dropped by to have my car detailed..the owner scoffed at me for not making an appointment, told me I would have to leave it all day, then lectured me on how many years he had owned a car wash, and how I was a snot-nosed punk. When I expressed a little discomfort regarding his tone and attitude, he then half-attempted to kick me out of his establishment, before kind of catching himself in the moment and calming himself down. Really, really weird and awkward interaction. It's a car wash...shouldn't be high stress man. Went through with the job, I guess they did an adequate job. Nothing spectacular. Several months passed, and alas I needed another job done, and since I live so closeby, I thought I'd give him another shot. Maybe he had just had a bad day. The car is still dirty after it goes through the wash, the people who operate the car wash are obnoxious, and rude, and when I complained that the car was still dirty after the wash, they told me that was my problem! Place is a little cheaper ($10.50) than the other places around for an exterior wash, but the quality isn't good. Lots of spots missed by their tunnel, and the guys drying miss plenty of spots too. Car still had patches of salt on after being cleaned this past winter after a storm. Would recommend going elsewhere. read more

They have so many options I loved it! I just searched for local car wash and went because they were closest. I was pleasantly surprised. My car looked like it had been detailed completely. I also loved to find out its family owned. The father and his three sons all work there and were extremely helpful. They got out a dark scuff on my white car that I didn't think could be removed and didn't even charge me. They just did it and told me to go ahead and pull into the car wash area. I even had the option to fill my tires! I love a business that covers more than you'd expect. They know what people need and want. And for the people that just need certain things I saw they have the option to simply vacuum or wash the outside yourself. I'm a sucker for a well thought out business. . Terrible customer service. As an option to getting your car washed here, leave your car out in the rain and save your money. When I pointed out how their system failed to clean the lower door panels, Joe, one of the rude owners explained that since the car was extra dirty, I would have to pay extra and that it was my fault for not choosing one of their most expensive "deals". This car wash is terrible. First off, the owner or manager (not sure of his position) is extremely rude and tries to up charge and frequently gives incorrect change. He actually tried to charge me extra for running boards on my car. I have never had that situation at any car wash ive been to . The car is never clean. The back of my car is always filthy. Water spots galore because they don't have an adaquate drying system. The only positive (and reason I'm giving one star) is that the vacuum suction is pretty decent. Better than some others. Rip off. This was my first and last time here. There was absolutely no line when I got here. The worker who asked what service I wanted wasn't friendly in the least. I paid $18 for "VIP" wash. It was terrible! It is the type of car wash in which you stay in your car and put your car in neutral. You then slowly move through the car wash. The problem with this one: it's age is evident. They obviously have not made any updates since the 90s I'm guessing. The kicker: at the end of the wash the workers dry your car as it is still moving. Then once you are off the track, they are done. Seriously? I paid $18 for some crappy 30 sec drying and no interior vacuuming or wiping down?! WASTE OF MONEY! I couldn't believe they don't do an interior clean after I paid $18. You can then PAY for stand alone vacuums and SELF VACUUM. Wow. This place is a joke. I will never return and advise others the same.
