The Chris at Neighborhood Service assured me that they had done several of these repairs on other Vettes. They gave me a low initial estimate, and I gave them carte blanche to also replace anything else that they saw was necessary, since several other systems require removal in order to gain access. The repairs were completed in two days, and came in way under the amount I had had others tell me it would cost. Due to his wiring job, the headlights no longer work properly, there are issues with the motor and now the glove box is free floating and not attached. He claims he is a perfectionist but he left remnants of the old wiring, used after market parts, left parts dangling and created issues that did not previously exist. I dropped my car off on a Saturday and was told it would be ready by Monday. 1 week later and it hadn't been looked at and they accidentally drained my battery. Found out the following week my tire key was missing. It was at the previous shop who put on my new tires and Jason offered to go get it, which was awesome. Later that week he told me they didn't have it and they would be removing the bolts which was fine with me. I was told it would be ready by the end of week 3. No one was answering the phone, which was a problem since the beginning, so I went by there. My car hadn't been touched and now I was told they found the key at the previous shop so they would get it done. Got my car back at the end of week 4. They also replaced my rear brake lines, changed out the battery, and gave me an oil change. I received a discount for being patient. I got in my car and my stuff that was in my glove box and center console were emptied onto the passenger seat and were wet and moldy. They had left the front passenger window down and it had stormed. My car manual, receipts, and previous paperwork for my car were moldy and my car smelled like mold and mildew.
