When Bernhard bought the shop I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleased to see the new owner maintained the excellence and personal attention I was used to. I have a 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive truck that is lifted with 37/13.5/22 tires on 22 x12 wheels. The wheels were new, never had tires on them. I bought 4 Firestone Destination MT tires. These guys had a new tire machine that mounted the new tires on my wheels and the machine never touched the rim. I was impressed, no scratches are blemishes to my new wheels. I got 70.000 miles out of those tires...impressive. Recently I needed new tires so I called and ended up with another great set of tires that were balanced great, no vibration at all. Bernhard did a complete inspection on my truck showing pictures and video of the parts that were bad or going bad. When I paid for the tires there was another page that listed everything that needed attention and a quote for each item. What a great service. I have always done my own repairs and this let me know everything that needed attention to my truck. The best way to get the most milage out of a set of tires is 1. Make sure ALL front end parts are good, 2. maintain the correct tire pressure. 3. A scheduled tire rotation, I do mine every 5000 miles. I visited at least three repair shops in Missouri and one in Illinois. No one wanted to touch it because of the time and involved processes in just getting to the part that needed replacing. The Chris at Neighborhood Service assured me that they had done several of these repairs on other Vettes. They gave me a low initial estimate, and I gave them carte blanche to also replace anything else that they saw was necessary, since several other systems require removal in order to gain access. The repairs were completed in two days, and came in way under the amount I had had others tell me it would cost. Needless to say, I won't hesitate to entrust my Corvette to them again for any other repairs that exceed my capabilities. Thanks again, fellas!

I was given a price of roughly 2500.00 to rebuild the transmission and would take around 3 to 4 weeks to be completed and had to pay 1200.00 up front to even start on the work. After 3 weeks, I called to see how much longer, I was told Glen was out of the office and would have to call me back, but he never did. Sometimes, there was no answer at all during regular business hours. Drove to the shop during regular business hours, and they were closed. No body around what so ever. When I was able to talk to Glen, I was told "we're waiting on the part" called again and was told "yeah your part came in, but your car was pushed out of the garage because it was taking too long for the part to come in and your car was put at the end of the line and they were working on other cars. They damaged parts on the car and then charged me to fix it. I had a manufacturer recall part, and when I dropped the car off, i asked if they could reach out to GM on the replacement, I was told they wouldn't do that. I would have to take it to a GM dealership to have that work done. Well low and behold, they replaced it and charged me 296.00. I said that it was a recall item, and you told me you wouldn't touch it. Glen's response was "well I had to replace it to get the job done correctly." When all was said and done, it was close to 6000.00 and 6 months later. So on top of 3500.00 more for the repair, I had to find rides, borrow cars, and even had to rent a car and had to pay for it out of my own pocket. SO UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND PAYING OVER "DOUBLE" THE QUOTE GIVEN OR IF YOU REALLY DON'T NEED A CAR TO DRIVE, THEM BE MY GUEST AND YOU CAN GIVE THEM A CHANCE. Once he has your vehicle, communication is almost nonexistent, answers are few and far between, and the estimated price becomes much more. He had my vehicle for almost SEVEN months. He committed to things he did not deliver. When I received the vehicle back, the carpet in the cab was dirty, i found i had not been informed of parts replaced beforehand, and some of the original parts replaced had been damaged. I have asked more once for Glenn to fulfill what he had committed to and he has yet to live up to his end. This shop is closed, but he is now located at the Austin Transmission in Mehlville. Buyer beware. If you ask me, I would suggest using a more highly rated shop. If you pick this shop, Ron [the manager] seems to be the more reliable contact.

I knew it as a gas station and repaor shop that would check oir, lights and wipers and all repairs that were humanly possable.
