Services we get are - cuts, color, perm, highlights, and waxing. She also offer Japanese straightener and keratin treatments. She sells many hair care products, she's always very well stocked. Wednesday has special pricing on men's haircuts. $15.00. She also cuts kids hair. She's very patient with cutting kids hair. Actually, I texted and they responded right away. Lucky for me, their newest stylist Emily was available at the date and time I needed. I arrived about ten minutes early. The salon is so stinkin cute, even from the outside. Plenty of parking on the side and the back of the salon. I was greeted as soon as I entered, and my stylist, Emily was ready and waiting for me. Although all the stylists wore masks, they did not require customers to. Since I was in a time crunch, I decided to wash my hair prior to the appointment and just had Emily do a dry style. I briefly explained to Emily what I wanted, loose curls with a little bounce and she gave me exactly that. My hair normally takes forever to curl, but we were done in under 45 minutes! The dry styling only cost $30 and I loved how my hair turned out. Would definitely come back!

They were completely booked (always a good sign) except one opening 5 minutes from my call (maybe my stylist missed their lunch time today?). I was 7 minutes away and they told me that would be okay. I was happily greeted by Corey who turned out to be my hair stylist. I had an idea of how I wanted my hair but Corey really put the finishing touches on my thoughts based on the shape of my face, etc. She took her time with my cut. I never felt rushed and we had a great conversation as we went along. I really loved the end result and would return to this salon in the future. A couple of unique touches of the salon is the use of vintage makeup vanities which I absolutely loved. It seems like it gives each stylist their own unique touch and takes away the sterile copy cat stylist environment of some salons. Great experience today and I recommend them. Another lady was there getting her hair colored and then styled as I was leaving. She looked quite amazing, as well. It was nice to see the stylists not required to wear masks, also.

The staff was so sweet to answer my questions and help pair me with a stylist. I came in for my appointment with Amber and we hit it off well and she knew exactly what I was looking for with my hair. We went through a few photos of my hair journey and got started. The whole process was relaxed and comfortable. I loved the result and trusted her with the cut just letting her know length and that I like layers. I walked out feeling refreshed and fabulous.

I've been to many in Atlanta, but this was my first in Cumming and it was definitely not my cup of tea. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcomed. I showed up early, just in case, as we should. Three different people fought over NOT wanting to take care of me, asking back and forth if someone else would take care of me in their own languages (plural) which I actually knew what they were saying because I'm fluent in both so it's even worse on them. I was appalled. Even if I didn't know, it's 100% unacceptable. I kept my head down and let it slide. Filled out my form and braced myself. I waited at least thirty minutes after my appointment time on a work day. Ok, I would have been completely fine with that (things happen! I'm VERY kind in my reviews, go check them!) if they weren't talking about me in front of my face like I said in languages I'm actually fluent in! Paid for a senior stylist who still brought in a junior stylist, which is fine too. That's why I'm here, for them to learn. But she complained and walked away and dismissed me the entire time. The senior stylist did a piss poor job of giving me what I asked for on top of the awful "wash" the trainee gave while giving attitude and almost crying the whole time? I get bad days, but what?! Like to the point she refused my tip and walked away. What?! I gave a 100% tip. Then the tip is cash only. My fault for not having cash, I'd never been so I didn't know, but Venmo was acceptable for the win! I Venmo'd the "senior" stylist who didn't understand Venmo at all and kept me around for another 15-20 mins! The whole time I kept asking if she got it, but she ignored me and finally said don't worry about it and actually let me leave. Someone got that money, I'd like to make sure it was you, even though I was completely unhappy! All in all, I will say I felt like they catered to their students whims and needs instead of actually teaching them how to succeed in their profession. I can't speak for anyone else, but all I can say is don't talk about your clients in front of them - you don't know if we know your language so don't assume we don't and belittle us to your entire staff because you're in a mood. I'm not planning on going back and treated like a child. Please do better for your students so they can come out with clients that love them.
