I took a day off from work to attend a hair appointment made 3 weeks in advance. When I got to the salon- 15 min earlier- I was told that my hair was too long and too thick, and that she was either cutting it or blow drying it but not both. The appointment I made was for both. I ended leaving, very disappointed. Oh, also the lady in question stated that she wasn't working with long hair anymore, so basically if making appointment in this salon you need to be aware that they might refuse to work with you if they consider that your business is not worth their time. read more

Jennifer, the manager, personally followed up and showed genuine care. She paired us with Ashlie, who was incredible. She really listened, asked great questions, and made my daughter feel confident and seen. I'd be happy to go over the audio recording that I have on my phone for you to pair with your security footage, although I know this offer will be declined because your comment was not intended for positive reasons. Did I comment on how Cat held her shears? I absolutely did. Did I get the trim I requested? No I did not and that's bc when she first trimmed she did so with my natural part then after she washed she trimmed from a center part. I even commented when she suggested this it was ok so long as it would look right and blend bc I didn't go for a cut but rather a trim. Were you closing in one hour and thirty minutes, yes. Did she have time to blend the mistake of the trim? Yes. Did she have time to correct the color issues in the hair? Yes. How do I know this? Bc another stylist that Cat called over to discuss what happened told her how to fix it and told her she had the time to do it. Cat had told me she needed to go home to pack bc her and her family were leaving directly after work to travel for the eclipse so her stepdaughter could watch it from a better location. She did check her schedule and I work therefore Friday April 12th didn't work for me. There was no other attempts at trying to find another solution to correct her mistakes. I wasn't being talked about poorly and talked poorly to by your staff?? I pray your footage captures what you put online for consumers to read bc when things started going downhill I began recording audio on my phone and what I captured proves otherwise, to include one stylist telling me to shut the f up that cat did a great job and I was being a disrespectful ass!!!! Is that how you expect your staff to treat patrons??? Did I get upset, did I cry, was I frustrated & did I suggest that the owner that arrived if he was in fact the owner, call the police, I absolutely did bc I was appalled at the way your staff chose to treat a paying customer. Did I receive a discount I sure did but honestly I shouldn't have paid what I did and if your establishment cared at all about customer service I would've paid half and paid the remaining balance in full without a discount the moment her work was corrected. I can acknowledge she worked all day on my hair just like I sat in the chair giving up my entire day to have my hair completed. Ppl need paid for their work, I don't deny that BUT you make right on what is wrong PERIOD! Set your pride aside, understand that it didn't go as expected & correct the issues, that's all. But rather the walking advertisement of her work was on my head for a few days. It could've been a positive advertisement rather than the negative each time someone commented on the color issues. I'm a business owner as well & the point here is you take care of customers, you honor your work & you don't do business the way it was done that day. I'm sure I'm not the only person that had an experience like this & if changes aren't made I won't be the last. You can hide behind the keyboard & act as though I was a disgruntled customer that threw a temper tantrum but that's not the case at all. Review the audio from your footage if it in fact exists bc it'll tell you a different story...and if there's no audio maybe step out of your frustration over a bad review & speak with your staff to do better & treat ppl better bc the way I was spoken to & the language used was ludicrous....but maybe you're ok with them treating ppl this way. At the end of the day it was a hard lesson learned & I won't return. I won't have anything nice to say about my experience bc of the way things went the moment I pointed out the areas of my hair I didn't like/that were wrong & I have the audio to back up my words. Praying your establishment makes positive changes so others don't experience the things I did. read more

Unfortunately, I'm a little disappointed with my experience. I made an appointment for my ten year old daughter to get a layered haircut with a "U" in the back. (Very common cut, always requested for myself at my salon). When we arrived, our stylist, Missy, said she does not cut "U"'s and no one in that salon does it either. I'm glad she was honest about it but I would recommend the owner take off all layered "U" pictures of haircuts on your site and reviews if you in fact cannot do that hairstyle. After a few moments of deciding whether or not we would like to go somewhere else, I asked the stylist if she could just do the layered look on my daughters hair without taking off too much length. She replied with "so don't even touch the length?" I said, no, you can cut the length but she would like her hair to still remain long. At this point, the stylist seemed annoyed and said yea I think you should go to another salon bc the cut that I'll be doing to her she won't like. So we stood up and said ok thanks and left. I feel like our time was wasted and she didn't really want to cute my daughters hair. Others beware, if you want a layered cut with a U, don't come here. This was my first and last visit to this salon where I asked for highlights and a trim. The stylist (Elize?) who worked on my hair took they time to sweep the salon while my hair color processed. I interrupted her important task and asked her to check on my hair and she said it needed more processing time and continued to sweep. After way too long, as she took out the foils, I could see panic in her eyes because my hair was absolutely FRIED and the color was neon copper. I could see the owner looking at my hair and she did not come over to assist or to make any attempt to help. I should have been suspicious when I was asked to sign a waiver before she started on my hair. I've never been asked to sign a waiver at any other salon I've been to. I'll admit I was in shock about my hair and should have demanded a fix right then, but didn't. As I was headed out town the next day to care for an ill parent for several months, I dealt with it on my own by babying my hair back to health and then eventually getting the color corrected at another salon. read more
