The owner is a kind woman named Tina who has a fantastic Southern accent, and wants every customer to feel like their needs are being heard. She talked about offering personal shopping to those clients who don't have the time to make it into the shop, and I can tell that Tina would bend over backwards to bring someone anything they needed. She even called me "honey," which warmed my heart and made me want to drink sweet tea with her on a porch somewhere (in one of Over the Top's gorgeous hats, perhaps?). I've passed this rather upscale ladies apparel store many times! After much consideration about what approach to take when entering here I just decided to be honest and tell the truth. A very genuinely nice lady welcomed me to the store and that sure put me at ease! I told her that I would like to take some pictures and do a Yelp review. She said that was fine. As I'm looking around the place I noticed ladies clothes that I could tell were above par. This is an upscale place on a Main Street that could pass for a Mayberry episode! There was also a jewelry case ( costume jewelry) that looked genuine! Nothing cheap or trashy looking here. I complimented the owner and told her I would tell my wife about place. I buy a lot of frames and sometimes, if the frames have pictures in them, the price is too much. I liked the frame, but 15$ for not old and kind of cheesy painting off raggedy anne and andy? Nope. When you donate, the guys out back are efficient, and reasonably friendly when you speak to them. I am quite sad to be moving to Floida as I will miss the Broad Street Thrift Mart as bad as I have been missing The Shrimper!
