We hired Bernie's Mixology for our wedding May, 2019 and it was a terrific decision! The initial factors that drove us to request a quote from Bernie's were the great reviews, the wedding services offered and the attractive price. Now, the reason we both can't stop raving about Bernie's is that Bernadette (the owner) provided 5-star expertise and services with the care and comfort of a Best-Man/Maid-of-Honor. With all of the chaos that comes with wedding planning, we were relieved that Bernie's made our bartending planning smooth and stress free. Month's prior to the big event, we had our consultation with Bernie's to go over the logistics. We were planning on having an open bar for a 400 person wedding for a crowd that loves to drink (which made me very nervous about the price we would need to spend on alcohol). We provided them with our opinion on the types of drinkers that would be attending and the types of cocktails we wanted at the wedding, and with that information they were able to break down precisely how many bottles of liquor, kegs of beer, cases of wine, and even juices & condiments we would need to purchase. This alone saved us thousands of dollars versus if we were to blindly over-buy due to the amount of guests we expected. The best part is that we were able to serve our guests a variety of beer, wine, and over a dozen cocktails and mocktails, giving all of our guests -drinkers or not- a delicious variety to choose from. Also, at the end of the wedding they cleaned up their station and organized our leftover liquor for us to take home in a secure location. We were so lucky to have come across Bernies Mixology when doing our wedding planning. Excellent traveling bar-tending company! I hired Bernie and one additional employee of hers to bar-tend my wedding this past weekend. Not only was Bernie very professional to deal with in the months leading up to the event, she provided a shopping list for me in terms of alcohol and mixer quantities, a personalized menu and regular check-ins through out the process. On day of, her set-up was complete and ready by the guest arrival time, she served everyone with a smile on her face and was kind enough to be flexible to extend her time by half an hour to keep the party going beyond regular booked time.
