Arlie's is a place I always check out when I'm in the Westport-Perth-Smith Falls area, just off the main drag in Smiths Falls. It has a terrific selection of books in a wide variety of genres - westerns, mysteries, sci-fi/fantasy, biographies, just about everything - and of course a special section on local/Ontario history. Remarkably, the store has expanded since I first visited, nearly doubling in size. I do wish that the opening hours were a little longer, but I make an effort to get there whenever I'm in the area.

Had to run 4 speaker wires from controller in unfinished basement to the kitchen, which was being renovated and installer told he could cut holes anywhere as needed. Young inexperienced wire puller could not tell me best locations for speakers and ran into issues, so called in Supervisor, who I nearly kicked out of my home for being so rude as I messed up his schedule and he was told the ceiling was open. So we go things wired and when ceiling was repaired 2 gents came in to install the gear. They left a couple of greasy thumb prints on my new ceiling, and didn't have the proper tool to full cut out one speaker hole, which which my contractor completed. I don't begrudge folks making money, but for the few hours of installation effort, I paid just under $1,000 for a simple, non-complex job. And SAV does not take a cut of that I'm told, so contractors are being paid crazy amounts. Should have negotiated this on a per hour basis, perhaps you can.....

She had a big selection…read moreof succulents in her DIY Succulent Bar to choose from and helped me build a beautiful arrangement in my terrarium. If you don't bring your own she ever has a small selection of jars, pots, tons and bowls to build your own arrangement, if you don't bring one. Or you can just buy your succulents to arrange at home. She's helpful, creative and really helped me to understand how to maintain my lovely new arrangement afterwards. Looking forward to another adventure - perhaps a girls afternoon!

Although the packaging could still see some adjustments to rival that of Broken Coast from a product freshness and longevity perspective, they are becoming a very well rounded producer. The product always comes fresh but the packaging could stand to provide 2-3 more days of reliable freshness beyond the current 3-4 days after opening. Edible oils are now widely available at varying price ranges as well as a range of strains that are affordable to top shelf. Tweed currently has three of my four favourite indicas. Yorkshire for moderate potency and daytime use. Weever provides all the punch you would expect, especially at their highest price point. It simply never disappoints. I have most recently trialled TWD Lot #2 and have been equally impressed as I have been with Weaver although less expensive. Tweed - you're doing a fantastic job! You went from 1/3 of my prescription to 3/5 after my initial 6 month trial. You definitely have competition but you're a title fighter, hands down.

Everyone there was so enthusiastic, and welcoming. The interior design of the building itself is industrial chic, with a coffee lounge area, and beautiful moss walls. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and well spoken. And the whole process of how the plants are grown and processed is genuinely interesting- Learned a lot and had fun!

It's a huge shop - bigger than it looks from the outside, with three or four floors. They sell men and women's clothing, shoes, furniture, dish ware, appliances, and decor. I they are open 9:00-5:00 every day. I wandered around for half an hour, but didn't see it all. The staff was friendly and helpful without being all over you. There's even a restaurant in this shop! The prices seemed reasonable, from what I saw. This place is worth another visit, but I will bring my hubby, and spend more time there.
