The doctor was nice enough and the secretary was a nice lady but the doctor was slightly rough around the edges as far as having the patient challenge his expertise. I'm sure the clientele here takes his word as scripture. I will be visiting a modern podiatrist once I'm back in philadelphia.

Not that I want to go but in a few months time I had multiple problems, then a Gout flare. Not fun, but dealing with his wonderful staff who are not only professional but willing to talk and kid with me. Dr Culliton himself is a disappearing species of doctor. HE CARES. He listens, takes his time, gives me options after clearly explaining all of them and has a sense of humor. They were very up-front with me about my insurance plan, what fees would be involved, and what my visit would entail. At my visit, the friendly service and careful insurance plan review remained consistent, and the Doctor was one of the friendliest I have ever worked with. I like that they were able to provide immediate in-house x-rays, and were quick to create a treatment plan. I would recommend this treatment team to anyone going forward! I walked in to. find staff with clipboards walking all over the place like waitstaff at a busy restaurant . Then I saw the signs saying CHECK IN and also Check Out . A bit like the check-in desks at a busy airport. I was checked in quickly and directed to take a seat in the waiting area . It was like a scene I experienced in crowded doctor's office in India many years ago. There had to be 40 people in the waiting area , all holding their clip boards and paperwork . Staff , with the obligatory clip board , walking in calling the first name of the next patient . I thought , this will be my last visit to this place. I waited 45 minutes to see my provider , not unusual these days . Staff led me to the examining room and I was amazed to see TWENTY examining rooms , I got room 9 . Eventually the Physiatrist came in, no long wait . Introduced himself , failed to introduce the presumed scribe that came in with him. I got the sense I was being rushed and in a conveyor belt experience. The doc did seem to be skilled and I will return and see what visit two is like . At check-out I was taken care of by someone whose name tag said "Director of Operations". He was very pleasant and quick . Good to see he was on the front lines working with the grunts .

I am scheduled for an ultrasound guided procedure on my shoulder. I met with a PA named Cori. She…read morenever looked me in the eye. She spoke only to her med assistant who did her typing. I had to repeatedly ask her to clarify what she was telling me. I did not receive any printed information on preparing for this procedure or what to expect or even if I could drive home on my own. In addition, she chastised me when I told her my pain level. Why ask that question if you don't take patients seriously. So I did what healthcare professionals tell us NOT to do, I had to look the information up on the internet. turns out that I do need a driver and a day off work which I did not prepare for. Sad when AI is your only hope. I have been with Excelsior for years and years. The changes that have been made in procedure and healthcare "professionals" are not an improvement for patients. I guess we all have to live with progress now that excelsior is a huge conglomerate and not patient centered. PS c Cori is not the only PA at excelsior who could take lessons from the frontline staff who are kind and respectful. Needless to say I am verry concerned about going through with the procedure.

My son and my fiance went to this podiatrist for my son's flat feet , when fiance gave the 10 copay…read morethey said we are all set. 2 months later we get a service charge over 85 dollers saying we never paid copay. I went to the office to make things right to pay the 10 dollers . The heavy set woman kept saying I had my time to pay and I didn't. All they have to do was take my ten dollers and tell collection agency that I payed. My son went in Sept Oct time and these people within 3 months gets collection agency to get their 10 dollers plus another 80 unreal.
