I often leave 5 star reviews when someone does a great job, and rarely, if ever, leave a negative review. However, I'm still trying to clean excess grout sealer off the tile on our bathroom walls a year after they resealed our grout in March of 2023. The color does look better, but many of the grout lines bleed over onto the tile, resulting in a very sloppy-looking job. The worst part was, I had told Connie that I'd had the bathtub reglazed and needed to have the guy come back to fix a couple of small spots he missed. She told me to have him do that first because she didn't want him messing up her grout work, so I did. When Connie and her granddaughter came to seal the grout, her granddaughter so badly scarred and scratched the tub in multiple places, I've just had to pay $750 to have it completely redone. For the $650 I paid to Connie I feel our tile should have looked fabulous and the tub reglaze should have remained intact. She and her granddaughter only spent half a day on the job as they seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere. Our bathroom is small, but apparently it should have taken quite a bit longer than that.

Mike…read moretalked up being a certified installer, but as soon as unanticipated delays occurred with our bench top, he cut corners to rush the job. While the initial Kerdi waterproofing seemed fine, the tile installation itself was a disaster: * Floor & Wall Issues: He left much of the work to an uncertified worker. They skipped tile levelers on our 12x24" floor tiles, leaving them uneven with sharp, chip-prone edges and deeper grout joints that capture dirt. The 24x48" wall tiles have uneven spacing, including several blind joints too small to get any tools inside to remove the bad silicone job. * Technical Errors: Mike wanted to apply epoxy grout the same day as the 24x48" tiles with zero drying time for the all set and got angry when we refused. He also skipped joint backer rods, failed to clean out the All-Set mortar in joints, and incorrectly applied silicone caulk without having which sucked into the joints as it dried. We now risk ruining the waterproofing just trying to cut out the bad silicone job. * Wasted Materials & Damaged Tile: Despite explicit requests up front, he left the most visible cuts for last. He chipped a prominent wall edge tile after using our extra tiles on previous mistakes, leaving several chipped tiles unfixed. When we calmly brought up industry standards, Mike became highly unprofessional--raising his voice, talking over us, and claiming "there are lots of ways to tile." Because he never provided a formal contract beyond the initial estimate, we were left with zero recourse. Months later, our shower remains unusable because we don't know how to repair the silicone mistake in the too-small joints. Avoid this company.
