Perfect bed and breakfast right in the middle of the mountains. When you get here you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with gorgeous views and peaceful quiet, however you are right around the corner from the entrance to Dollywood and just a few minutes for downtown pigeon forge. The property is clean.. beautiful and very accommodating. The staff is fantastic and does what they can to make you feel at home. My wife and I love finding hidden gems on our travels and this one has made our list of places we must return to. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. This bed and breakfast is dangerously cozy. Like, "accidentally quit your job and live here forever" cozy. The bed? So comfortable I briefly suspected it was stuffed with marshmallows and angel feathers. I lay down "just for a minute" and woke up emotionally healed. But let's talk about the real reason I'd sell my soul and possibly a family heirloom to return: the nightly dessert. Every evening, like clockwork, a homemade dessert magically appears -- as if summoned by a pastry fairy. One night it was chocolate cake that made me question every life choice that led me to boxed brownie mix. Another night? It was very nice to escape the hustle and bustle of a city to this nice hidden gem located minutes away from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It was my first Bed and Breakfast experience and it was so nice and quiet. Staff was very friendly from the moment we stepped inside. There's a freshly made dessert included every night, and the pecan bar was my favorite. The pecan bar was so good that I asked for the recipe. We reserved the Buffalo Springs room, which includes an amazing view of the sunrise and mountains. This room includes a balcony to enjoy the views, king size bed, and a large bathroom. It looks like the room and bathrooms were updated recently and provides a cabin feel. Breakfast starts at 8am every morning. Coffee, teas, water, hot chocolate, and drinks are always available in the kitchen 24/7. We had biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausages the first morning. Second morning came with strawberry pancakes with bacon. All breakfast includes corn bread with butter and a yogurt parfait. Also included in the premises is a walking trail, pond where you can canoe, and a barn where you can play pool, ping pong, and rent bikes for the bike trails. We did the touristy thing and spent a lot of our time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We spent some time in the mornings around Berry Springs, but wished we stayed longer. This is a good place to stay if you want a quiet retreat from the crazy traffic of the area. You won't hear any engine noise-which is rare. The rooms aren't fancy (more old camp) or anything, but they are cozy with a gas fireplace. Some have great views. There aren't coffee machines in the room. Another issue was that the upstairs neighbor was loud stomping. I still highly recommend this lodge, and hopefully you will have a more considerate upstairs neighbor. read more

We only stayed one night but wished we stayed longer! We had a late check in after 8pm. I called in advance to let them know and they left me a letter of instruction and keys in a hidden spot for when I arrived. I booked the Newberry Springs room which is upstairs on the 2nd floor with a king bed, private balcony with a hot tub and fireplace. The moment you step into the lodge, it feels like you are in someone's home. The atmosphere was very homey with a country/mountain style theme from bear pillows, bear and moose stuffed animals, floral chairs, rocking chairs, plaid window drapes, wooden interiors. It gives you a feel of being in a cabin far away. The desert of the night was lemon tart- very delicious. The breakfast in the morning was even more delicious! The owner, Patrick served us. We started off with drinks, banana bread and cold fruit cup with yogurt. The main was french toast covered in whipped cream, cherry and almonds with 3 slices of bacon. SOO GOOD! The hospitality was wonderful here. The only negative was that I found 1 hair on my pillow. The TV in our room could not connect to Airplay. My 2 pillows were super flat. That's just a personal preference. I love my pillows fluffy. I made comments on the suggestion/comments form and hope that helps improve the lodge. Excellent stay overall. read more

We have stayed at Berry Springs Lodge multiple times over the last few years. Until now, we have only had good experiences. However, last weekend, we had reservations for the entire weekend, paid in advance. Unfortunately, I was hospitalized with an emergency medical situation and unable to travel. I called them, two days in advance, not requesting any money returned, only to move the dates. Travel for me, was forbidden for at least a couple of weeks. I was abruptly told, they could not honor that because I had a pre-paid rate. There was absolutely no discussion of any other options. Again, we never requested any money returned, and would've been willing to pay a fee or additional money. They had no interest!! Having been in customer service for over 30 years, I completely understand having company policies. However, when you have LOYAL customers, who give you business multiple times, there should be a willingness to work with you!! We had been so many times, I had a $100 discount!! None of this mattered to them! I then emailed the owner to explain my situation, he didn't even have the common courtesy to send a reply. There are other amazing bed and breakfast places in the area. They will have our business going forward. We overlooked, dated decor, uncomfortable mattresses and not so great showers. This however, is just too much!! read more

This was a lovely bed and breakfast. The house is quaint and well kept. The view is extraordinary. The staff were very friendly. The food was simple but delicious. I was only there one night but I could have easily enjoyed myself for several nights. The lodge was set apart and peaceful, yet for close to a ton of activities. Berry Springs is an adorable B&B magically tucked into a tiny nook between the Smokey mountains, Dollywood and the Pidgeon Forge Tourist strip. Rate are very reasonable for how clean comfortable and cozy the Inn is. A real, freshly prepared breakfast is in included daily, and includes southern treats like Tennessee scramble, cheesy grits and stuffed French toast. Room choices are ample, we opted for king room facing the sunrise, complete with a switch-on fire place, and private deck with a jacuzzi which was just divine. A beautiful, scenic B&B in Sevierville, TN. Stunning views of rolling hills and the Smoky Mountains. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean and well maintained. A fresh cooked breakfast every morning and a homemade dessert each evening! We could see Dollywood fireworks at night from the porch rocking chairs. We enjoyed this place and will definitely be back. Such a fantastic weekend getaway. This is hands down one of the most perfect bed and breakfasts I've been too. Secluded enough from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Tucked away in the smoky mountains of Seiverville, great opportunity to relax and just unwind. You get daily breakfast served to you which was quite tasty. There was snacks available at all times, coffee, juice, and water as well. After 6pm there was always a tasty dessert left out as well. The owners here are very friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic 3-night stay in their Blackberry Springs suite which is a separate structure next to the Lodge. The room was very comfortable with plenty of amenities, breathtaking views from the back porch/deck, and nothing but peace and quiet. We spent the later evenings strolling down the hillside path to take in the stars and sounds of nature. The included breakfast was delicious and varied each day. The dessert treats were YUMMY. I also thought it was a great perk to have sodas, water, and ice cream sandwiches available at any time! The staff were exceptionally pleasant and engaging. The staff is also friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the view from the back deck, also enjoyed the delicious breakfasts in the morning and sweet treats in the evening. We did some shopping and other activities on our trip, which were about a 20 to 30 minute drive. It was well worth the drive to be away from the hustle and bustle! All the reviews will tell you that this is a beautiful resort. And that's true. But what most reviews won't tell you is that under new ownership since Feb, 2022, the quality of service is poor. We arrived at about 3:30 pm, and our room still wasn't ready, despite the B&B advertising 3:00 pm check-in. It was another hour before our room was ready, and all this forced us to change our plans of freshening up, grabbing a bite to eat in Sevierville, and then going for a walk on the 33 acre property. We asked check-in about the size of the main house, and his response was "I don't know, I've only worked here 1 1/2 months. Breakfast the next morning was fixed, French Toast, but we were able to pre-order scrambled eggs instead of bacon. The waitress the next morning didn't know that we had pre-ordered scrambled, and now offered us a choice of other style eggs. We finally were served the correct breakfast 55 minutes later, after first bringing my wife and I only 1 order of French Toast, 2 orders of eggs, and 1 order of bacon. She returned our order to the kitchen, and ten minutes later served French Toast to 2 couples that arrived to breakfast 15 minutes after us, and 10 minutes later finally us our breakfast, again bringing us French Toast and Bacon. "WE DON'T EAT BACON" I said to her. How difficult is it to get a fixed breakfast straight? We were hungry and frustrated at the poor level of service, and the long delay long delay again caused us to change our plans for the morning as check out is 11 am and we had other plans for the rest of the day. The waitress blamed the chef, the chef apologized, and after breakfast we saw the chef shuffling paper at the single front desk, while breakfast hours were still on. Clearly, the chef's has too much on her plate to devote breakfast to breakfast. and can't possible get a simple order straight. And where are the new owners? NOWHERE that we could see! read more

The Lodge is GORGEOUS and away from the busy tourist spots, so you can actually relax enjoying the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. The owners are absolutely wonderful and make sure your stay is enjoyable from the moment you check in, till you check out. Breakfast is DELICIOUS, I enjoyed sipping coffee and thumbing through the bed and breakfast cook book in the morning. We stayed in the Hidden Springs Suite, which was not attached to the lodge. We had our own cabin, with a porch swing to watch the sunrise. The rooms are clean, the bed was very soft and comfortable, each night we had a turn down service. The lodge offers trails, bikes to rent, a spacious living room with movies and games, a work out room, outside sit on the porch in rocking chairs, or roast s'mores at the fire pit. Regardless of what you are looking for, or something to do, Berry Springs has it! Both my husband and I were so relaxed and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We loved our time at Berry Springs. From the moment we entered we were treated with exceptional customer service. The views from the back porch are beautiful hillsides, and hear cows as they graze. Very peaceful. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful setting this is your place. But still just 10 to 15 minutes from the main parkway of Pigeon Forge and to Gatlinburg. We room we stayed in had a double size bed with a nice size bathroom and shower. The doors to little porch faced front parking lot but a lot sun came through. The breakfast was delicious I had Blueberry stuffed French toast. If you didn't want the selection of the day they will gladly make you eggs & toast which my husband requested. The 2nd day we had light omelet with choices of bacon, ham, mushrooms, onions and sour cream. Each breakfast started with a sweet bread, followed by a serving of mixed fresh fruit, then you are served your entree. There was fresh coffee, teas, juices, sodas, ice cream sandwiches, trail mix bars, dry cereal available throughout the day or night. In the evening a desert is set out. Beautiful lodge, beautiful location and excellent service. Having lived in Bavaria 4 years, this took me back to many such quaint lodges I visited, with great service, food and a beautiful location. Having worked for a Select Registry Bed and Breakfast before I knew this would be a great selection. We absolutely loved our time at Berry Springs. From the moment we stepped on the property we were treated with exceptional customer service. The Inn is set on 33 acres of beautiful private land. The views from the back porch are stunning as well as so very peaceful. It's hard to believe that you are only 10 min from Sevierville or Pigeon Forge. You feel as if you are in a setting away from the hubbub, you would never know there is a town closeby. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful setting this is your place. We stayed in Raspberry Springs room and we loved it. It has a King size bed, fireplace, large shower and a sunset view off the private balcony. The breakfast was delicious (my husband is a former chef at a B & B), the portions were perfect. If you didn't want the selection of the day they will gladly make you eggs & toast. My husband had the strawberry stuffed french toast which was amazing and I had the scrambled eggs cooked perfectly the first day... The 2nd day we had the egg, ham and cheese scramble with roasted rosemary potatoes and biscuit. Breakfast starts with a sweet bread, then you receive a serving of fruit (first day a fruit salad with a tasty topping, 2nd day warmed pears with pecans that were tasty), then you are served your entree. The owners and Innkeeper were so very accommodating. There is fresh coffee, teas, juices, sodas, ice cream sandwiches, trail mix and chex party mix available or snacking day or night. So wonderful and relaxing. The owner Patrick couldn't have been any nicer and move laid back. They don't require masks because of the small number of rooms and the vast places to go within the resort but of course you're asked to social distance. I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. It was fantastic. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and had an incredible view of the Smoky Mountains. The 3 course breakfast every morning was always delicious and the owners Sue and Pat were more than willing to be accommodating to dietary restrictions. Each night there was a dessert set out along with snacks set out all day. The locations was great, peaceful and picturesque. I would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area.
