The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, even letting us check in 3 hours early, which made a big difference after traveling with kids. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who was so nice and welcoming--it really made the stay feel extra special. We did not partake in the entertainment night but the person singing seemed very good. The fire pit nicely seemed like a nice touch as well. Staff was exceptional and there is not much I can complain about with our stay. Rooms seemed in good condition and it was cute to have an animal towel on our bed when we arrived. Central to Pigeon Forge and within walking distance of the Island. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a bad bulb in the bathroom mirror so we took it out and put it on the bathroom counter so they'd replace it...nope, they just stuck the bad bulb back up in the fixture...wild! The bathroom door would not latch shut either. Not a big deal for us but worth mentioning. It's definitely older and a bit sketchy outside. Thanks to the Cookout next door you will constantly hear "can I take your oder". Also I learned that people love to rev their engines very loudly in the Cookout parking lot at all hours of the night. They have a little covered parking area by the office for motorcycles or Mustang bros, whoever gets there first. The ice machine and laundry are a couple doors down from the office. The ice scoop was dirty and disgusting. I don't think it's ever been cleaned. I went and got my own from my room. I would not stay here again. It was a bit expensive I think due to it being a suite, but next time I'd rather just stay at the Comfort Inn or somewhere for less money that's a bit cleaner.

This was corrected at arrival. The room itself the safe did not work and Melanie was all over it. She worked with it but had to get Claudia to work with it before they figured out it did not get a needed software update. I appreciated how hard they worked on it. We did not tell the staff about this issue, but the AC was very loud and later my wife told me it may it hard for her to sleep. I know it was loud, but I just did not pay much attention to it or I would have said something. The rooms need a microwave so the guests can heat their food up since the street in is so busy it would be nice. Also, a larger trash can would also be helpful and the TV kept losing its signal. On the good side the balcony and the view was awesome and totally worth it!! We will stay again.

When you arrive, Lynn will give you a tour of the place, give you instructions and your special key code to get in and out as you please, and lastly, bring you to your room. We have stayed in two different rooms and our favorite is the spacious room upstairs with the en-suite bathroom. Room amenities include: extra towels, pillows, and blankets, a fan, a white noise machine, smart T.V., luggage stand, and a binder of useful information. Each morning, Lynn serves a continental breakfast from 8-10 a.m. which includes: fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, homemade muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal. The coffee and tea bar is always open, which I just love. I can't sing enough accolades for this beautiful bed and breakfast and its delightful host. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews and a lower rating. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. The Creekstone is located at the tail end of the strip going towards Gatlinburg but it's not on the mainstrip part of it is one street away and the other building is across the creek and down a little more. Which means it's in a great location for both places without all the noise of the street. When traveling with kids that's a very nice thing. When I checked in the person at the front desk was super helpful and nice. My husband and son were coming later and my 7 month old daughter and I were checking in early. He explained that we were in the second building the one across the creek and down a little and how to get there. So we checked in grabbed our keys and headed out. Found the other building super easy and started to unload. This was where we had the only problem the whole stay. We got to the room, she was cranky due to nap time and I couldn't open the door. The light turned green but the door wouldn't budge. Luckily, I had seen some housekeeping personnel on the first floor, so I went down for help. The person, who I assumed to be the manager came up with me and it was a simple issue. The handles on some of the doors were opposite. The handle needed to be lifted up instead of pushed down. Quirky yes, but not bad. The room was clean and spacious with a separate area for when my son came. It was nice we weren't on top of each other. Each room had a balcony facing the creek and you can watch the ducks and geese and little critters from your balcony. My son was super happy to spot what we thought to be a little muskrat hanging out down below. Breakfast is offered daily from 7-10. They have a variety of things from hot to cold items, such as eggs sausages and waffles along with cereal, yogurt and fruit. Plus other things too. Between all of us we probably sampled the mass majority of it. It was all good. It was hot and fresh and honestly a lot better than I expected. For me this place was an unexpected gem. Everyone who I met with, or asked for help from was super kind and helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and quiet. Yes, if you are in the second building you have to drive for the breakfast that's included, but, that second building is gold. It's quiet with no street noise, just the creek if you opened the door. The public lunch is once a week on Thursdays and by reservation ONLY and they must be made by the previous Tuesday before 6pm. For a flat $10 we had a simply delicious pecan incrusted chicken breast, drizzled with a Dijon mustard. It was moist inside, crispy on the exterior and just enough of the Dijon to add a delicate flavor enhancement but not so much as to make it sweet. A really good balance, kudos to the chef. I thought the side was coleslaw when it was placed in front of me but it turned out to be sautéed cabbage and the perfect gentle, compliment not overpowering as cabbage can sometimes be. A standard roll completed the lunch plate and this was all washed down with some seriously good fruit tea. Once again, gentle refreshing flavor not too sweet. We then finished the meal with a bowl of banana pudding which also tasted super fresh!!! The waitresses and hostess were lovely. Helpful to everyone who arrived and efficient with service. I HIGHLY recommend you try this place. I really think it might be a 'family affair' they all take as much pride as usually 'Mom & Pop places' are known to do. Afterward take a stroll through the small historic town, enjoy the sites and history that this 2nd oldest town in TN has to offer.
