I managed to limp the car off an exit ramp leading to the Belt Line. Fortunately, I managed to get my car out of the way of other people who were exiting. But, it was clear to me that I needed a tow truck. I have AAA. And I called AAA. But, all it did was to lead me through a series of frustrating prompts to a website that didn't take my information. It kept showing that there was an error of some kind. I tried this five or six times and gave up. Finally, I checked Yelp to see if I could find a nearby towing service. The first business that came up was Road Warrior Roadside Service. I called. Nate answered. And he was there shortly afterwards to take care of everything! Nate took me and my car to an auto repair shop close to my house. I left a key drop for the mechanics there who I know will be working on it soon. The man I spoke to on the phone was willing to accept payment over the phone, but told him I could just pay in the center. I went to the center to pick up the car and needed to pay with 2 credit cards - one I physically had with me and another that I did not physically have but had all of the information with me. Craig was very rude towards me and kept claiming that they can only take payment if the person is physically in the center...complete opposite of what the other person told me on the phone! Eventually I was able to persuade them to take both methods of payment. Pfieffer Lincoln, if you're going to adopt a policy that's against all other dealerships for taking payments over the home then for gods sake maintain consistency and educate your employees and make it explicitly clear when discussing repairs with your customers! Feeling I was taken for a ride by Rafa, when it overheated again, I took it to HD Towing and Recovery, they had to rewire my engine. A couple weeks later, still overheating. Took it back to HD Towing and Recovery, they discovered that Rafa had used zip ties instead of the new motor mounts that came with the new engine I bought to attach a turbo engine. His response, I only warrantee my work for 6 months. I asked for a refund, he said take me to court, so I am. Total of 2300$ I am asking the court for.
