I had a list of items for estimate and, in order to find out the cost for each item, he had to remove all others to be able to tell me. Also, they will email a link to the estimate (not an attachment) and the link will expire in 7 days. It seems to me they are strategies to make it more difficult to compare quotes. I wanted 4 can lights and was told that I'd need a new electric panel for that to happen. I was quoted around $5,200 for a new electric panel (after having to ask specifically for the cost of this item). I mentioned that I put a panel in 3 years ago for a similar sized home and it was $2,500ish. I just got another quote for this home. It was $2,700 and I was also told I didn't need a new panel to add the 4 can lights.

When we looked at the DPOR website that checks licensing for the State of Virginia, we quickly learned that the actual company had either been bought out or taken over or merged (however you want to say it), by some company.
