First, you need to know that I am Chrissy G. and not some AI junk. I am a young cancer survivor and have permanent GI issues for the rest of my life. Don's Plumbing is awesome!! Not only do they respond & schedule quickly, they are super nice. Recently a slow drip under my kitchen sink became an emergency. Near bedtime on the weekend, I heard a rushing noise under the sink. Lots of towels, along with a large bowl to catch any water that might drip, made me feel relatively safe. But by morning the rushing noise could be heard coming down the steps. The towels were soaked & there was water on the floor. The slow drip was now a near flood. The immediate solution was turning off the water valves to the sink and dishwasher & cleaning up the mess. On Monday morning, hearing the drip had progressed, Don said he would send someone right over. And he did! Kendall was pleasant & knowledgeable. The problem was twofold: the mid 80s era Quest shut off valves & the faucet itself. He had the valves in the truck but went out of his way to go out & purchase a faucet & sprayer that would fit the holes in my sink. Thanks Kendall! All was well. Believe it or not, the next day the Quest valve to my vanity toilet failed. I knew it was the shut off valve because it turned so easily. Don & Kendall both came the next day & verified my diagnosis. After they replaced the valve, Don put the stamp of approval on a new toilet that I wanted for the vanity. It's being delivered Sunday. Don & Kendall are coming Monday to install it. Unfortunately I had the experience of needing plumbing work done due to my water heater leaking out water all over the floor. I called Don's Plumbing for help with what I thought was a leaky master shower. I could see stains on the ceiling of the kitchen and right above that is my master bathroom. Don and his nephew, Kendo, came by and examined the situation and told me it wasn't actually a plumbing problem, that it was a problem with some broken tiles that caused water to gather and end up creating the stain in question. He fixed my pipe and even made a recommendation that I get insulation around the perimeter of the room where the pipe burst due to the cold air coming in the area and even said that he would be glad to come back and insulate that area as well. If you're having problems and have a few minutes, I've got to say something and tell you my story....they just came out and left maybe a half an hour ago as I write this. But these guys are amazing and they're life savers. I promised them I'd write them a review because of how grateful I am of them coming out when we just totally were out of options. My father is out of the country right now and me and a sibling are taking care of his house for him. Well something was clearly wrong out of nowhere. couldn't flush the toilets, couldn't turn on the showers, couldn't even do laundry. water was coming from underneath the wall in the garage, underneath the wall in the bathroom downstairs, flush the toilet upstairs, it wouldn't come up in the one downstairs. none of us in this house had taken a shower in days, done laundry in days...we were out of our minds. ATOMIC PLUMBING came out and wanted to charge us $800 just to take the toilet off and snake it! I don't care if they're the big name around here and everybody knows them. They are crap (no pun intended). My father gave me the option to give whoever came to fix it his card number to pay $150 and then the rest later. Atomic Plumbing wasn't having it. Knowing there was a 4 year old in the house and feces sitting dormant in the toilets. They wouldn't budge on the pricing, they wouldn't take a payment they wanted us to contact my father so he could call and go through financing steps for us to do that, they wanted to overcharge and jip us he was trying to talk us into ripping up our driveway just to "find the main line" because HE SAID he didn't know where it was. Then when we refused to give him the $69 they were goona charge to come out to look at it (when he didn't even really look at anything) he had his boss call us, a female whoever she is, she was rude to my fiance on the phone, she started screaming at my sister in law so loud my fiance could hear her on the phone on the other side of the house! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM by any means. DO NOT CALL THEM. They overcharge and they're extremely rude! We were at our wit's end until a little bit earlier we found Don's number, he said he'd be here in twenty minutes! And sure enough showed up, they pulled out a snake and something Atomic wanted to charge us $800 for, he took the $150 we could afford, and would charge another $75 for whenever we could get it to him!
