The owner, Steve Young...what a wack job. He promised the pool would be done before Christmas in 2022 and its now march of 2023 and the plumbing to this awful concrete hole isn't even set up. The stairs of this pool look like a blind kid formed them and the pool structure itself may work decent as a bomb shelter or a gold fish pond. He has made tons of promises and never came through plus he still owes us thousands of dollars for unfinished work. He has two workers and him and the crew never show up. If your looking for some entertainment though it may be a good company to hire...we watched him attempt to run a skid steer in the rain/mud for hours while he screamed at his crew and sat on his ass. I encountered one of their work vans traveling on the highway. The driver almost put me in a wall and changed lanes several times without signaling. I own a contracting company and have always told our drivers the truck is a rolling billboard. When I called the number on Beso's van, the man answered just hello. Once I confirmed it was indeed the business number I let him know of the driving I witnessed. He promptly hung up on me. I would be hesitant to contract with Beso since this person did not even feign insterest or concern in my complaint. read more

Beso construction is working on the pool at my campground. They started in October and were supposed to get it done before winter. They just basically disappeared and were not heard from all winter and would not return calls. They sparatically started working on the pool in the Spring but didn't put any effort into finishing the job by Memorial Day. We planned on DEFINITELY having the pool open for Memorial Day weekend when we have lots of friends and family visiting. Needless to say, it did not open for Memorial Day weekend.......as a matter of fact, it was not even done by 4th of July. He was at our board meeting the week before the 4th of July and promised (again) that it would be ready for 4th of July weekend. It was not ready for 4th of July!!! We do have it filled with water now, but he needs to hook up all the filter equipment so we can get it inspected and now he hasn't showed up for a week!!!!! .Beso doesn't even show up most days and when they do it is only for a few hours. He has made us promise after promise after promise after promise and has broke every one of them. He blames it on the weather, but truthfully, that did not play a factor in this.....he would get other jobs and work on them and forget all about our pool, because I'm sure he needed money to even finish ours. He made a huge mess on our bathhouse and in the surrounding area of the pool that I am sure he will never clean up. I checked out his facebook page and he has very bad reviews on their. Seems everyone has the same problem with him no showing up and not finishing the job. Please be warned.......DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR!!! He can not be trusted to get a job done on time or on budget.........he is a total fraud who doesn't think twice about telling lies and leading you on. read more

Contracted on the 15th of may. Gave half the payment 2500.00. Steve told me to drain my pool on 5/18 and he would be out on Sunday to start work. He never showed. Called him on Monday he said they would be out later that day... 3 guys showed up in a car...no ladders...had to borrow mine. They worked maybe 3 hours removed some tile. Steve said he would be ready to tile on Tuesday 5/21 ...he then informed the tile was not in....they finally showed up on Thursday , 5/23 did some more tile removal and started placing tile.... Worked about 5 hours....they did not call or show up Friday thru Monday 5/24-5/27 even though he said he would be back those days to complete job....several times when I called him he would not answer or lie and say he was on his way out and never show....they came out on tuesday the 28th ....placed more tile......Wednesday the 29th several of the new tiles fell off! Thursday the 30 th they came out had to redo several of the new tiles....also they did not have a grinder so I had to buy one at Home Depot for 100.00... They had to rent a chipping hammer....Friday the 31st they came out and did a little more work....went to dinner said they would be back...never came back...never called and as of June 3 still have not heard from them..... Steve told me this job should take two maybe three days to complete.... My pool was empty for three weeks...as a family we cleaned the mess at bottom of pool from all the debris they left behind....two garbage cans full....the tile work is still not complete and he has run out of tile twice now....the actually workmanship is horrible....the worst thing is that I told this guy my son has a graduation party scheduled for June 2 nd and he said no problem....as the deadline came closer he told I should reschedule the party! We had over 50 people here many from out of town and that was his answer....I have filed a complaint with the attorney general...BBB ....Angie's list.....yelp .....and merchants circle........this company is the opposite of professional ......stay clear of this company!!!!! read more

In late June 2015, I was in need of a qualified EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finishing System) inspector to inspect an EIFS home we were considering purchasing. Thus, I googled EIFS Inspection Cincinnati and BESO Construction showed up. I then called and spoke with Steve Young, owner. Steve was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable and convincing regarding his knowledge of EIFS. He convinved me to do a visual inspection for $375 and not waste money on a moisture inspection for $475. He also told me he had the requisite certifications, which he never produced after I asked for them. I also asked for references, which he never provided. We discussed that the report would be thorough and could be used with a bank and would give me confidence if there would be any issues with EIFS. I hired him to inspect the house in mid-July. Steve showed up at the house with a note pad and began to walk the house. He did not take any pictures to which I asked him if he should and he said that he would use pictures that I was taking. He did not use a ladder to which I asked shouldn't he climb up and check out the eves and such and he said he didn't need to because he could see everything he needed from the ground. Both of these situations seemed lacking to me, but he kept "inspecting". Steve finished his look in around an hour and promised to provide me his report and any repair estimate that same day. I paid him $375 on the day of the inspection. He said the report would be effective. After waiting 2 days and calling persistently, I finally got a pathetic 1.5 page document that was huge font and had a few items listed on it. There were no pictures and no estimate. It was hardly professional or complete. I certainly could not take it to a bank and had no confidence in his report. I subsequently emailed him to explain my disappointment with the report and that I'd like to resolve the issue. He never responsed so I texted him and called him (left voicemail message) to try and resolve my issues. I offered to have him come out and redo the inspection, but in a much more detailed method. He has never responded, which is the reason I am writing this review. In summary, the quality and quantity of his report that is a critical health and construction issue related to EIFS was a zero. I would not use BESO construction again. read more
