Fabio the owner sent a picture of them and an estimated arrival the morning of our scheduled service. I didn't realize how thoughtful this was until he did it. As a woman home with her young kids during their scheduled apt it was nice to know who would be coming by. Eduardo and Felipe were very friendly and efficient. They took before and after videos to show how much they were able to clean. With my kids continuously being sick I figured it was a good time to get a good cleaning of the duct work in our house. They also helped reposition the piping on our dryer to make it more efficient and recommended vent covers - all very helpful. What a nightmare this turned out to be. This firm was suggested to us to clean our rental property in stamford. Little did we know they would collect the fees from our tenants. It was absolutely embarrassing. When I finally got the invoice I told Fabio I would send a check around the 21st of the month. That is when I cut checks for such maintenance of our rental unit. The check was mailed but again today Fabio contacted our tenants seeking payment. This put our tenants in a difficult situation. Fabio never told me he had already collected his fee back on the 24th of January. His approach is disgusting. Be sure you ask to determine how and when he wants payment. He never spoke to me. Wow! These guys are great. I'd forgotten how good service can be when the provider genuinely cares. We moved into a new house and our daughter has asthma and allergies so we wanted to get the ducts cleaned. I couldn't be happier that we called these guys. The technicians, Felipe and Emanol, were excellent. Diligent, thoughtful and thorough. Our ducts hadn't been cleaned in years and were filthy. What's more, the owner Fabio came by when his team hit a snag and discovered an entire HVAC unit hidden in the wall of our house. If we hadn't found out about it - and didn't get it serviced - we could easily have had a big problem on our hands, including flooding if a pipe clogged. We just moved to Darien and after refinishing of our hardwood floors and construction work, Best Air was recommended to us to clean out our air ducts as the previous owners had also done work in the house so the ducts were most likely in need of a cleaning. I'll be honest, I didn't even know this type of service existed.
