My new refrigerator was much too large for the door entrance so the doors had to be removed to get through. I was concerned that removing all the doors and drawers would cause problems during reinstallation but Akai had no problem with this lengthy and difficult task. One of the doors did not want to adjust onto the mounting post correctly and that caused the install to go a bit longer than expected, but he stuck with it and was able to overcome the complicated LG designed door mounting. We had a nice conversation about appliance best practices and now I feel better armed and educated for future purchases. Akai is the BEST! I did not end up using A & G Appliances, however I wanted to write a review to let people know what an excellent experience I had with Akai. I called to ask about having someone come out and look at my refrigerator. There was a smell that I could not get rid of after cleaning inside and outside of the fridge - thoroughly!!! I went so far as to take the back panel off of the refrigerator to see if there was any mold or standing condensation in the drip pan. I got nervous about doing anything after removing the panel and called A & G. Akai listened to everything I had to say about the problem and then explained what he could and couldn't do. He also explained what some of the causes might be. I even asked him questions about how I should go about cleaning up the dust and cobwebs from the back of the fridge. He gave me some safety tips and told to give him a call back if I had any further questions. He was awesome! If I have need of an appliance repair, A & G will be the first place I call.
