One of the people I was with needed to get a new phone charger for a brand new phone that was just released. Would you believe we went to the ATT store and they dident even have the charger. The ATT store told us to try this Best Buy in bowling green. We went to this Best Buy the store is a smaller Best Buy but has every thing you would need. Including this charger that the ATT store dident have lol. When we went in 2 staff members greeted us and asked us if we needed help. Both of them took us over to the cell phone accessories area and gave my friend a few options. The store employees were very helpful. They escorted us over to the check out and the transaction was complete. Overall. I was impressed with this Best Buy in bowling green. I'm so disappointed in this place and understand why they are closing stores. I am a former employee and worked with Best Buy for over 16 years. Have not worked there since 2017. I took my Dyson vacuum that I purchased from them around 6months ago for repair. The stick vacuums has probably been used 10 times total. Never really cared for it. Long story short it stopped charging. So I contacted the manufacturer and was told it's in the manufacture warranty period that was one year.and to Take it back to Best Buy and they will repair most likely replace the bad battery. Go the next day and was first told at customer service to just get another one and they would exchange it. Learned later that the guy at customer service thought I just purchased it. I had everything with it box,manuals, cardboard inserts, and accessories so I understand his confused nature. Because it still looked brand new. Like I said it's been used maybe 10 times. Finally a guy told me that it's no problem we will just send it to service and should let you know something in a week or so. Three weeks go by and nothing so I contacted Best Buy's service center. They tell me that the vacuum has been repaired and give me a tracking number. Then tell me that they will also call when it arrives in the store. Will attach the communication I had with them. Few days later Best Buy store calls and tells me no it's not repaired and come pick it up. So, now I'm confused on what's going on. Try to call and told again it's been repaired. Great, I go in today to pick it up. Was helped by the same guy that sent it to service for me the first place. He then tells me that they don't repair vacuums and that it was never touched or repaired. This is almost four weeks from when he told me it's not an issue to send to service center for repair. Tell him the whole situation and show him my communication with service center. He tells me that was a fake person and he can't help me. What the hell.. Fake person. It's your Geek Squad service center. Best Buy get your foot out of your A**. I will never ever shop with them again. Would have been fine at first if they just told me to go back to Dyson. But after all of this just pissed. Essentially all the time wasted, money for gas, and just incredibly inconvenient time wasted. Decided to send this to save others wasted time. read more

This is by far the worst Bestbuy I've ever been to. I'm in BG for work and I've had to use this Bestbuy two times. Since I'm a Bestbuy Ultimate Member I figured I'd use geek squad to trouble shoot some issues I had with a digital scale I bought from Bestbuy. I wait an hour and get up to the desk where the guy goes, "do you want a refund? If not we don't do trouble shooting on anything other than laptops." Which is not true. I've been a bestbuy member for years and I've been to multiple Bestbuys across the country with cameras, drones, and other tech. They've always at least attempted to help me. The second time I went to this store I was helped by a nice guy in the computer section, so hopes were high it would be a decent visit, but then when I go to check out I run into the most none caring cashier I've ever seen. She was unable to find my Bestbuy account and after finding my account. It didn't even make sense. If there was a negative 5 review I would give it to them. We ordered a new washer and a fridge that was open box at the store. They scheduled delivery a week after purchase. No biggie. We had working appliances, just wanted to upgrade. The day before the delivery was supposed to happen, I received a voicemail and couldn't understand a word they were saying and didn't think it had anything to do with our delivery. We proceeded to take our old washer and deliver it to a family member to scrap (the barrel of the washer was causing the washer to shake and it was very loud) believing our new washer would be here the next day. That's when we realized the voicemail was telling us the deliver was canceled for the next day. We tried to figure out what was going on with our delivery and finally got a hold of customer service and basically found out the washer was at the warehouse to be delivered but the fridge was not. They assured us someone would be in contact with us soon. We had to go to the Best Buy store to even be able to talk to the manager, apparently you can't call directly to the store. He confirmed the fridge wasn't at the warehouse to be delivered but didn't know where it was because it wasn't at the store. We then learned that a third party is who delivers all the appliances for Best Buy, not directly from the store. So the delivery was rescheduled for the next Saturday. He reassured us it would be delivered and gave us his email and he would keep contact with us to get it resolved. Our delivery was cancelled again with no explanation and now we can't get in touch with the store manager. Delivery was rescheduled for 5 days later (3/7) and we found out today once again it was canceled and now they are saying the washer won't be in stock until 3/10, which is 3.5 weeks after purchase . We have emailed the manager and he has not gotten back to us. We are going to have to go back to the store to figure out what's going on with our appliances. We have attempted to call costumer service and the delivery line but we keep getting their voicemail and no explanation. We have had to have family do our laundry and take loads to the laundry mat costing us more money. Please avoid buying appliances from Best Buy at all costs unless you can take them home with you! read more

I noticed 7 employees talking and doing something with their phones. I told him I needed help. He went over to the group of 7 and NO ONE would come. I asked about the manager and what do you know? Second time my family (2 different people) being declined for writing a check with more than adequate funds. I was told it was a problem on my bank's end. Contacted my bank and its definitely their Telli-check service at Best Buy. I tried to contact corporate but apparently they don't want you to reach them. They thankfully sent me a customer survey due to my large cash purchase and I explained my issue. Got a pretty inadequate response that we must have bad history with tellicheck or don't write thousand dollar checks. Hmm... write them every month for 2 home mortgages and again my bank said we should not have had a problem. So I've spent my last dollar at Best Buy. I used to love shopping at Best Buy, but now??? I used to shop at the one in Akron, Ohio, but found out that in 2013 I purchased a computer along with Webroot that came with a 3 year term. What they failed to tell me was that they would automatically renew it yearly after the original purchase. I just discovered it attached to my charge for over a hundred dollars! I went to my new location in Bowling Green. They said I had to call 800- geeksquad! I'm sorry, I was in Best Buy right next to the geeksquad department! So I called the number I was required to call and basically was told tough you have to pay for it. Totally disgusted with their online service, tried over and over to place an order to no avail, finally had to contact customer service to place the order, they did, but ordered two items I did not intend to order, then I faced the nightmare of trying to get back into my acct, I forgot to save my password, due to the stress I encountered trying to place the order, then the service would not accept the code to change the password, after numerous trys, I gave up, it would not recognize my phone number either, so I emptied my cache, hoping that would help, but no it did not, so i am faced with having to drive a 60 mile roundtrip to return the items i did not order, lets just say that I am not a happy camper at this point, and I certainly do hope there is nothing else wrong with this order. read more

Horrible customer service. Sent a MacBook off that "supposedly" had water damage and had been dropped so they say. The computer was still under warranty but yet they did not honor it. This store is always well stocked, orderly and the staff is very accommodating with assistance at whatever level you as a shopper require. They don't hover if you are an independent shopper. Best Buy Warranty is a JOKE Have a Insignal 55 in TV that is one year and two months old. Been waiting for 8 days for a Service Tech to show up. Wife took half day's vacation Wednesday and they didn't show up. That $70.00 she lost waiting on them. When I bought the Warranty the Sales person told me if it torn up I could bring it back and get a another TV. Big Lie as usual. Called store the day it torn ask the Manager to call me, never heard from him. We will never buy from Best Buy again. They only specialize in Selling and not Service. My brother got a new iPad for Christmas. We had a minor detail that locked us out. I took it back to the Best Buy store . At the computer service counter, this young lady told me that it could not be fixed. They usually get locked when they are stolen. No, no, I have a receipt for it. I called the Apple service and talked to a young technician. She tried to walk me through it. But the plug was not compatible with my desktop. She told me the Best Buy's store should be able to fix it. It wouldn't be difficult. I call the store manager at Best Buy's . He was not helpful at all. He said the usb plug should work with my computer. I explained the cord to my new iPad would not work. It was smaller then the usb to my computer. After much back and forth, he says to me" you are telling me the cord does not fit, then there is nothing I can do to help you....click... he hung up on me. Today, I went to the Best Buy's at Rivergate. We walked in explained the situation and the young man said " No problem. Set up an appt . We shopped around for about an hour. We go back in and the young lady checked us. She got us into the service. Came back to help us set up the iPad. I bought an extension that will enable for the new iPad to plug into my desk top. I could not thank this young lady enough I stopped by the front desk and told the young man there how wonderful we had been treated. Amazing how two stores can be so different. The WORST ever!!!! I took my vehicle in to have a radio installed and Joshua an employee broke my gear shift! My shift cable came loose under my vehicle and instead of waiting for me to get to the building and put the cable back in place Joshua forced in into gear breaking my gear shift. Then they refuse to pay for anything to fix it! Not only that Joshua cut the cable to my back up camera to make more money by selling me a new one. I will never do business with Best Buy again.
