Unfortunately, my experience at the checkout was the complete opposite. The person at the cash register, who I believe may have been the owner, did not acknowledge me when I approached. For approximately 20 seconds, she continued looking down without making eye contact, saying hello, or even recognizing that I was standing there waiting. When she eventually served me, the entire transaction took place without a single greeting, thank you, or any other interaction. After paying, my puzzles were simply left on the counter without a bag. When I politely asked if I could have one, she visibly rolled her eyes before reluctantly placing my purchases into a bag. Customer service can make or break a shopping experience, and unfortunately this one left me feeling unwelcome and like my business was an inconvenience. As someone who purchases a significant number of puzzles and is actively involved in the local puzzle community, I was disappointed because I had hoped to support a local business. Sadly, I won't be returning. There are many businesses that appreciate their customers and provide friendly, respectful service, and those are the ones I will choose to support in the future.

Forget the big box stores, go to this great little independent boutique. Although the space is…read moresmall, it is crammed full of novelties, toys and childrens items. They have a great selection of puzzles, board games, lego, collectable figures, travel games, brain teasers, models, classic toys and more. They also have some great science learning toys like a salt water/magnesium reaction powered model car. Its a science lesson and a toy at the same time! Anyway thats just one example of that type of item that they stock. The mindless toys are entertaining but your kid will get so much more out of a constructive teaching toy. The staff is super nice and helpful and the store is open Sundays which seems to be a rarity in C-Town. Highly recommended.

The store is beautifully organized and all the items on display are clean and quality. Like any thrift store you need to dig and try your luck on different occasions to find treasures, but some places are more fun to try your luck in than others and this is one of my favourites.

(You know, the side where the roads are good ;). C&N is two stories of good taste, high quality linens, soft blankets, big beautiful clocks and the requisite quirky cutesy stuff for country gardens (bunnies and shit like that.) The owners were welcoming but no pressure, happy to see new faces as well as regulars, and are people I can easily imagine trusting to help with a home decor project and enjoying the ride with. A lot of the goods in here were outside my personal price range, but I saw a few signature pieces that wouldn't break the bank and that you know, I just might journey back for.

A few running shoes. Friendly staff and cashiers. The bad: Getting low on "clean" shoes, and choices are limited. Brand shoes taking more space, but limited to Vans shoes. Boxes lying everywhere, you have to surround them. The place is getting less and less popular, and prices as high as other stores. Sadly, I cannot see this place last another ten years as this rhythm.
