We took it back the next day and the manger Chad rudely refused to have civil discussion or even speak to the handyman who also was there when we pulled it out. I brought my computer in for service today. After I left, they called me, but I missed the call. I tried to return the call, only to be connected with someone from a foreign country. I want to speak with someone at the local Best Buy. The store called me with a question, and I'm trying to get back to them. Now their customer service is telling me to expect a call back in two hours. Are you kidding me? They have my email address; why don't they just email me? This will only delay my computer repair. I bought a refrigerator and they loaded it sitting upright. I asked them to lay it down they refused. It fell out of the truck going 20 miles an hour and they refused to take it back. The general manager and some assistant manager were very rude even after watching the video of the employees loading it. We went the d"iberville, MS. store on 11/26/2022 to look for a new phone. My wife and I waited for the service member to completed what he was doing with another customer. While waiting there was a young man(employee) doing cheerleading moves for a young lady (employee). My wife went and asked him if we could get someone to help us. He paged for someone, and we had at least 3 other employees just walk by. The person that worked in the phone area had finished, he walked over and stocked something back on the self and just walked away. We have been in this store many times and always had great service, however, I do not believe we will be doing business with this store any longer. read more

I've shopped at this location on and off for years and have been quite happy with the customer service and the helpfulness of their staff. Most recently I bought a Washer & Dryer back in April. The sales clerk was really helpful and knowledgeable and helped me quickly decide what I'd be buying. I was thrilled that they could deliver to me since I live about 40 miles from this location. The Geek Squad were the ones to deliver & set up my applicances. They called before arriving, arrived within 15-20 min of the earliest predicted arrival and had the units hooked up and working pretty quickly. My husband and I ended up talking with Zack, the camera dpt clerk for quite awhile and learned several things that would work best for our photo habit needs. Pitiful customer service - NONE. Went in looking to buy an Xbox One. They have a table set up at the front of the store advertising them with a sign saying "see associate for details." Ooookay great, but there's no one up around the front. No matter, my husband wants to go back to the video games section to see what games they have in stock (not many, by the way), and to see if there's an associate there. Nope, no one to be found. We walk around for a bit, then he heads back up to the front display. Several associates pass but no one ever acknowledges us. Even the security guard, who plainly saw us because we were standing directly in front of her, didn't say anything or offer to get another associate to help us. We probably spent 15 minutes in the store without EVER being acknowledged by an associate, even though the store was not busy, so we left. We will be making our $600+ purchase elsewhere. :) read more

I am a huge fan of Best Buy, it's my favorite store, but not all Best Buys are the same. Dibervile is the best store in the area, Gulfport branch as a runner-up, with the best customer Service. Mobile, AL on University is the worst. Dibervile Best Buy helped me decide on a phone case and they put it on my phone for me with cheerfulness. My Laptop computer was a dud and after repairing a few times they replaced it. Navigating all this could have been a nightmare but they helped me through every step. I bought a blue tooth speakers and it was not high quality, I returned it a couple weeks later, and they refunded my money, no questions asked. I upgraded to a Bose. :) I needed a TV as a gift and they helped me make sure I got the features I needed at the best price. Need to price mach or check to see if their price is better elsewhere? They taught me about Red Laser App but also will check several sites to assure I'm getting the best price as their policy. Love It! I'm a regular customer and have had only positive experiences. read more

I wasn't even looking for a mouse but I happened to come across some that were advertised for 11.99. There were four mouses lined up in the same exact spot right in from of the price. I needed a mouse as my pup chewed up my old one so I decided to grab one. Went to have it rang up, and the price popped up 19.99. So, I told the cashier that the price in front of the mouse was 11.99. Of course, I had to bring the cashier to show the price difference. They removed the "mice" and instead of accommodating the price they had it advertised for, they said there was nothing they could do and wanted to charge me full price. I don't usually get upset about things like that but when you have four of the same things lined up with the price in front of it, they should have gave it to me for 11.99 instead of full price. Had I been the manager, I would've made that happen. It's bs. It was a $2,000 laptop. It was a $20 mouse and an $8 difference. Geesh! read more

I am a Best Buy Elite Member who was in the area for military IT training, during which I bought a lot of electronics at this Best Buy. When you frequently buy electronics, you also tend to frequently take back substandard products. I had taken a few large purchases back here and was refunded. A month or so later I came to return an android phone that had been overheating and a neoprene laptop case. The lady at the customer service desk said "okay it will be two different transactions, so what do you want to return first?" I chose the laptop case first, which I regretted immediately. The lady says "Oh... it says here you've returned a lot of items lately and you may be restricted from returning items for up to a year after this transaction." I asked if she could cancel that transaction and return my $500 paperweight android phone instead. She said "Sorry, the damage is already done." She even advised me that if I hadn't bought them on my Best Buy rewards account, I would not have been flagged. She said if you want to argue it, you can call this number. I called the number and finally got on the line with a man in a call center who had a thick, difficult-to-understand Indian accent. He told me there was no arguing it and no way to get around it, and that I would not be able to return items to Best Buy for at least a year. All he could do was repeatedly offer to send me a report listing the items I returned to the store. I didn't care about that because I knew good and well how much I had returned, but had never once til that day been informed of this policy or that I would be banned from returning things to Best Buy. I ultimately had to sell the android phone on Craigslist for about a 75% loss. Since that experience, I now use Best Buy only to window shop and decide what things I want to buy on Amazon next. I just have to put up with the occasional teenage Best Buy rep throwing out their unsolicited "expert" product opinions (which is really good fun to listen to as an experienced IT professional). read more

We knew specifically what we were looking for and had actually been in touch with this location several times over the last month. They've been out of stock every time we've stopped by or called to check on their stock. But tonight they had two! Yes!!! While there we spoke to Jamieson (sp?) while looking at iPads and also while looking for the adapter. He was super helpful and super friendly. He was very knowledgeable and also super personable. My husband suggested that I should Yelp about this employee specifically before we even got to the cash register. Today's tip of the hat goes to the two Michaels inhabiting that unusual and magical precinct within Best Buys known as the Geek Squad zone. I had a glitch in a flash drive. Couldn't handle larger files. Conferred with The Two Michaels and they quickly cracked the code: the flash format was ms dos and needed to be in an exfat format. So they made the change and problem was solved. Seems like a small thing maybe, but it could have caused disproportionate grief later on, as I needed to drop a large file and fedex it to a film festival. Thanks, gents. ~GEEK SQUAD~ Agent Maxwell!! After being on the phone for over an hour with Tech support and no resolve. An appointment was setup for The Geek Squad at the DIberville Best Buy Store. I arrived and was extremely disappointed that the repair schedule would have my laptop repaired or replace after approximately 3 days, due to the workload at this particular branch. I purchased my laptop in Denver Colorado in April and apparently this was a clitch in the operating system~ Registry Configuration corrupt? I am not a computer scientist so I was put in the middle of China with no compass or translator at this point. After explaining the files and reports I needed to submit this morning and the online class schedule I have this young man stated he could make some recommendations that would maybe fix my issue. Again with the workload of this store three days before they could give me relief. I wrote down the recommendation this gentleman presented me with, returned home and after (As he said) several hours "My Issue was resolved!" I met my deadline!!! I cannot speak highly enough of this gentleman! Saved my job! Saved my online class completions! Saved my backside basically!! I tried to call the store to Thank him personally however was told that maybe this young mans name is Maxwell~ He was working Saturday 07/07/2018 I had a 3pm appointment. Please recognize this young man for his professionalism his outstanding customer service (I was panicked and probably rude) However, he handled the situation in an outstanding manner to where I have felt compelled to Thank Him and Apologizing for any rude nature I may have been in.
