When the greeter at the front door says, don't wait for assistance as it's self explanatory believe them. I was looking for a universal remote. The male with the French name in the TV section side stepped my question after he'd recommended a medium priced option. I asked if there were other lower cost options and he said other options cost even more. I didn't trust him because it is Best Buy. I saw labels on the one he selected which read "for all major brands" so at looked at lower cost options with the same labeling. It works great and was easy to set up. It was $10 cheaper than the one he/they wanted to upsale. It's also telling that none of the reviews have seemingly received responses from store mgt or even corporate. read more

I used to frequent this location a lot. But never again!! They have one appliance specialist named Irene who gets off at 4pm. After that, you are SOL because the manager, Karma, can only ring you up and will tell you to call 1-800-Best-Buy with any questions. I did just that from the parking lot and the help desk that answered my call actually helped me select an appliance over the phone and we finalized the purchase right there. Isn't that crazy?! So basically this brick n mortar location is useless. Also if the girl with the AT&T shirt approaches you, run for the hills. She led with something about helping me and discounting my purchases but wasted 10 minutes of my life asking invasive questions about my phone and Internet provider, how much I pay and all kinda crap. The staff at this particular store was very nice, helpfull and knowledgeable. However, after that it was a complete disaster with no assistance anywhere to be found. Ordered a washer, dryer, two pedestals, and a microwave. It took over five weeks not to complete the order. They would deliever one piece not the others. Then they would change the delivery dates consistently, only to be told they could only deliver one item at a time, while the other items were delayed by a week each time. Frustation levels were high, so canceled the whole order, went to Brandsmart, all delievered in two days and installation. Best Buy you lost me for a long time. read more

Not one person, not a soul, around in any department to assist. Guess your customers aren't that important. Walked in, walked around aimlessly, then walked out. I went to this location again because of Michael as stated below. In October I went back again to find that Michael was on vacation so I asked who was the next BEST PERSON. I was connected with Aaliyah and she was fantastic. She helped me to purchase five (5) products that were within different departments in the store. I watched her effortlessly worked with her colleagues within other departments to get me what I needed without me having to go to those departments myself. And she was also helping another colleague with a difficult customer and situation all while being professional and personable within everyone that she encountered. I just love her. I highly recommend this location they have great employees here. PREVIOUSLY: I went to this location today and was immediately greeted by Michael. The energy within this Best Buy is awesome totally different than the one in Stockbridge/McDonough area. This place felt opened and welcoming which provides a better experience for the employees that resonates to the customer. Michael was able to immediately help provide what I needed and checked me out instead of having me go to another counter for check out like at the Stockbridge/McDonough location. BJ's wholesale had a product on sale and I decided to get it price matched at this location (only local bestbuy that had it in stock). Walk up to the cashier to show them the product I wanted to purchase and the cashier told me "we dont price match BJ's". proceeded to show him the bestbuy price match website where it's listed that they price match with BJ's. He goes back to his walkie talkie to talk to a manager and they tell him that they do price match with BJ, but that policy changed recently. He's about to ring me up and askes me if i have a BJ membership and says I cant get the price match unless i have one. Wtf? Drove 30 miles to hear this bullshit. Dont waste your time here cause they obviously dont know their own policy. Waste of time. I was at Best Buy to exchange an unopened item. the sales associate was very helpful a professional, and stated he would radio an associate to open the case for me. I waited 20 minutes before someone came over, and that was after me asking available associates to call for help. After I received the item, I asked for a manager to clarify a concern, and I was very disappointed. She was dismissive, and frankly very rude. I had to tell her that Brick and Mortar stores are not only closing because of online shopping, but also because of rude behavior. I hope she gets it right with the next customer. This place has some of the worst customer service ever. Most Best Buys aren't known for picking the best employees but this one tops them all. You wander around trying to find someone to help and as soon as they see you they turn and walk away quickly. Probably for the best because when you do finally find someone they are usually too incompetent to answer any questions. Their inventory is always low (not just during the present supply chain issues but for several years now). Anytime you get someone to help you it's done begrudgingly as if you owe them something. Literally the worst service ever! I just moved to Atlanta. I am shopping for a TV, and I buy the TV and pay additional $200 for service of TV set up. They initially reschedule because they said something about the window not being in EST. And then they tried to tell me that the $200 I paid for was not for them to mount the TV but instead to take it out of the box and Plug it in a wall!! That is by far the stupidest thing I ever heard. Hello everyone, Please be aware of the sales customer service team at this store; their goal is pushing to sell to get revenue for their stone only without caring about their customer. Please make sure you ask every question throughout the process of buying. Here is the situation that I'm in. I purchased a total of $7000 worth of appliances online. I faced issues with my order, so I went to the store for more support. When I arrive, the general manager, Michael Burton, and the Supervisor, Jamesia Byrdsong. They both informed me that if I cancel the online order and place it with Best Buy at the Atlanta Edgewood Store ( 1210 Caroline St, Atlanta, GA 30324, the delivery service will be better since they coordinate it ( that the first lie people, regardless of where you order from Best Buy online or in-store, the delivery service is done by the third party) Back to the point, So I listened and canceled my previous order online and then placed the order with this store 1210 Caroline St, Atlanta, GA 30307 At first, I was planning to pay in full ( Which I had but canceled the order) for the total price, and the store advertised a reward program. 10% back. So I was asked if I could participate in the program 10% of 7000 that a big chunk. The Supervisor took over and processed my paperwork; she then mentioned two options for reward ( very confusing ). I chose 18 months 0 finance because the card membership did not cost a fee. ( I did not know the whole time that if I choose this path, I will not get my reward point or get partial since I only qualify for $2500 for credit, meaning only 10% of $2500 will be a reward which not even the case since I choose 18 months). No intention from the Supervisor to clarify the difference between the two options. Two months later, I still had not received my point (clueless about the whole. Situation ) I went through many loops talking to Best Buy representative and In-store at 1210 Caroline St ( took us another 3.5 half weeks). The solution came down to the fact that only the store could change my account for me to get the reward. I have 60 days free of return, but with the whole waiting and back and forth, it is coming down to my last week before I'm no longer able to return; I addressed the issues to the store management team about not being able to return. They mentioned that, oh yeah, we understand. We always make room for return if you pass the due date, so don't worry about it ( 2nd lie). Now, after 60 days and the result didn't satisfy me, I took the initiative to return, but they said, yeah, it passed 90 days, you can no longer produce the items you purchased In conclusion, The store did not make any change to my account. They are only willing to compensate me $40 in store credit (use at their store only) together with a 55 dollars reward in my account and a $25 gift card, which add up the total of a $120 bonus for a $7000 purchased My 3 points to this The team did not care about customers and was very unethical about their job, yet they just tried to push for revenue sales at this store ( Atlanta Edgewood) Team members at 1210 Caroline St, Atlanta, GA, were not engaged to ensure customers receive the best experience of their interest. Yet, pushing for sales to generate store revenue was more focused. I admitted that I should be more careful in thoroughly asking about the finance issues and terms, yet I did mention my goal to get a full reward on my purchase, assuming the store would take care of me. So sorry for this long post, I could have paid in full to avoid these issues, yet I do not write reviews because I believe people made mistakes, but this situation just got far, and I feel like I was scamming to buy at this store in the first place. I waited for them to finish their transaction. Darius showed me the Smart TVs in the size 42 that fit my budget. Even answered hubby's questions over the phone regarding hanging hardware. This store is located in a busy multi-store area near Little Five Points. The store was neat and organized, like most Best Buy stores that I have been to. There was lots of sales associates and several asked if we needed assistance. We were purchasing a TV and needed a flatbed to roll the item to the cashier. We asked a young man for help and he went to the back. Ten minutes later, when he never came back we asked another salesperson to help us. She went through the same doors as the first person that was helping us, but came out immediately with the flatbed. Lacks professionalism. Came to this location on Wednesday because they had the item I wanted in stock. Upon purchasing, they only allowed me to buy two of that item a day but was told I could come in the next day to grab another two as it was only two per person per day. I went back on Wednesday and waited in line for 10 minutes just to get to the cash register and the lady said they wouldn't sell me the item because I was already there that day(Thursday). I tried to explain that I was there Wednesday but the guy in the front was adamant that I was there and that he's just relaying a message but it's up to the lady to sell to me. Obviously confused of his days. I tried to tell them pull up my account to show my previous purchases, look at the cameras, or even ask if my kids could make the purchase since they were with me. She kept telling me that if they said no, then she's not going to do it. I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. But she listens to other people's command when the guy said it was essentially her decision?? I tried to explain my frustration as I drove 35 miles just to come back when they told me on Wednesday, I could come back on Thursday. She didnt want to hear it and she didn't want to pull up my account as she already decided no. If she truly was a manager, she lacked professionalism and morals to be one. She did not seem to know how to handle the situation nor did she try to determine anything before making a decision. I already knew their pride was going to be too high to admit that they confused their days and sell me the item so I left not wanting to waste any more of my time or have my kids see the interaction. So it was supposed mailed the following day but instead I received an email that it could not be delivered and was returned. When I tried to get my money back they told me 7-10 business days. It's been past 10 business days and I still don't have my refund and have been told to wait 5 more business days. So now im out of 500 dollars and no laptop. Worst place ever. After waiting for someone to help me. In an empty store. I count out the money hand it to the cashier $565.10 Who drops the bills all over the floor. Picks them up recounts then had another employee come over because she needed to go to the appliance section of the store. In the middle of a transaction! This is not the first time I've been to the store but, it is cliché I know, but this will be the last. I set up an appointment, 6:30 to 7, to meet with somebody to get help with purchasing a converter that will stream my video camera through my laptop to Facebook, etc. I arrived at 6:30, nobody's there I stand there for about five minutes waiting for a "blue shirt" associate to Acknowledge me, in vain. I customer service line and wait while they are unpacking Little boxes at the cash register which I assume had something to do with the paper tape but I never saw her do anything with the register. After a few minutes she asks the person in front of me if he's waiting for somebody and she's pointing to the back room, and he says something I didn't hear. Then she asked me what I needed. I say I'm waiting for someone, I had an online consultation. She said "what?" Very loudly, I try to explain to her again that I'm looking for the associate for a consultation. Again with the "what?" Yelling at me. I have to walk away. So I go outside the door and try calling the store to find out if someone is available to help me, and after listening to the automated 'dial this number' spiel they hang up on me! At this point there's 10 minutes until the store closes, I don't really think a 10 minute consult is going to help much. Y'know, after ordering the wrong items for DAYS from Amazon, I needed a resolution, so I just made the trip. And I ended up paying 60% cheaper for just what I needed!! Ordered a washer and dryer from a very nice lady named Irene Morris at Best Buy. She was awesome and got me set and moving right away. Great service and very fast. However, the delivery was a trainwreck. The delivery guys didn't check all the stacking kit before they left the warehouse. It was damaged and now I've got to wait until they replace it. Best Buy didn't have another one and have to order it. The delivery guys and customer service team on the phone treated me like I was a bother and took no responsibility for the problem. The delivery guys also tracked leaves and dirt everywhere; no shoe covers or tarps laid down to protect the floors. Just sloppy, lazy and uncaring. Customer Service and good business processes are dead I guess. If it wasn't for Irene, this would have been a 1 star rating. read more
