So I hate leaving a negative review, but I am very disappointed with the service or lack there of from this company. First, I was very clear that I had an older oven and knew parts could be hard to find based on my experience with another vendor . Accordingly, I gave A Plus Appliance detailed info about the problem with parts but they assured me they had access to the parts needed before I paid them $189 to come diagnose the oven. Long story short, they said they had the parts and quoted me $1200. I called them several times to confirm they had the parts and breakdown the parts Vs labor. After a few calls, they told me they didn't have the parts after all. I complained and they said the owner would call, the manager did. After trying to say I must have called the wrong company and that's why I didn't get a call back (whatever that's not the point anyway), the manager now said they did have the parts but couldn't warrant them and didn't recommend doing the repair. What a waste of my time and $189! read more

Great service! My washer broke, I reached out via their online form- someone reached back out to me the next morning. I rescheduled 3 times (work was crazy) and they accommodated me each time. Antoine was my repairman- he called and gave me an accurate estimate of when he'd come out. He repaired my machine, showed me what was wrong, and answered all my questions. Totally professional and friendly. Cost of repair ended up being $229 including parts and labor. The diagnostic fee was rolled into that price. We are exceedingly happy with the service provided by Antwon to fix our old Whirlpool refrigerator that had been leaking inside. We thought warm air was getting inside, creating condensation, but were we wrong! We called Saturday afternoon, and they fit us in on Monday. That day, Antwon called 15 minutes out, and he arrived with mask and gloves (COVID-19). He had a pretty good hunch of the problem when he saw the signs, and sure enough, the water drain from the freezer was clogged. Antwon did his magic flushing out the drain and got us working in no time, about one hour total. The total price for the repair was around $120, which included the $89.99 diagnostic fee. These guys went above and beyond to fix a stubborn dishwasher problem. The control board was blown, so they replaced that. It turned out that some additional circuitry had also gotten messed up in the process, and they came back three times without additional fee to make sure everything was running smoothly. Found A Plus through Yelp reviews after a questionable experience with another company. Very glad I did. The evaporator fan on our fridge cut out and frankly dying a slow death. My wife had reached out to another repair company when the fan initially cut out. The Other Company wanted to charge $300 for the part alone, which was suspiciously high. The wife decided to get just the original fan cleaned and reset by this Other Company, which was still an exorbitant price for a mere servicing. Online research found the replacement fan for $40-50. Fast forward a month and the evaporator fan truly died. Decided to see how A Plus would go instead. Servicing and parts estimation came out to be $200 for the fan and the installation. They sent out Tony, frankly a great guy, to do the initially inspection and later install. Tony was on time inside the estimated appointment window (for both days) the dispatcher gave me. Unfortunately he did not have the replacement part on hand the first day, but A Plus was able to fit me in before a Holiday to get the fridge fully repaired the next day. This might have been a repair I could have fumbled about and eventually gotten done myself. However Tony and A Plus gave exactly what you would hope for when calling a company: professional, courteous, and honest work. The internet definitely makes the idea of DIY appealing. Though if a reasonable rate means a professional like Tony is doing it right the first time (and saving a full fridge of food in the process) I'll pay it. I just had them come out for a dishwasher that was running but not cleaning dishes. It turns out the motor had died. They had someone out right away and who determined the issue. They had to order the pump and texted me the day it came in and were out the next morning to fix it. As the dishwasher was less than 3 years old this was a great deal more efficient than replacing the whole thing. The tech was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Even gave me recommendations on what type of dishwasher to get if I decided not to have it fixed (ie he would lose out on the work and still offered his advice). Great service! I called them for a broken washing machine on Monday at 4PM. They came out the next day at 12PM and quickly found the issue and repaired it on-site in less than an hour. The two repairmen that came out were amazing and incredibly nice. Both wore masks and gloves, which was a big relief. Also, the two times that I called in (once to make the appointment and another time for a random question) the customer service reps were extremely friendly and helpful. Poor customer service and a wasted of money. This is a scam, they have you pay to evaluate what needs to be done and then never follow up. Someone came to assess my refrigerator in early June and said I needed a part that had to be ordered. I told them I would be traveling for work and needed to have it fixed in the month of june as ainwohld be gone after that. Never heard back from the company from June to August. I called today to follow up and someone named John actually told me they called to schedule the service. I said when was this and who did you speak to? He couldn't say but claimed they had the part within 4 days but called me 2 weeks later. What kind of sense does that make? Doesn't make sense to wait 2 weeks to call to schedule a service if you had the part within the same week of my initial in home assessment. Then John proceeds to tell me I would have to pay expedited shipping to order the part again to have my refrigerator fixed in a timely fashion. Absolutely ridiculous. My washing machine wouldn't run after I replaced a broken door latch, which made me fear it was time to replace it. And that would mean replacing the dryer, as well, since they're stacked appliances. After reading some reviews that cited the very reasonable cost of A Plus service calls, I risked spending a little money in hopes of saving a lot. Tony came to my house the next day, identified the problem (the door latch had been redesigned in the 18 years since I purchased the washer), and said a new door sensor would restore functionality. With my go-ahead, Tony ordered the part and came back a few days later to install it. Viola, I have clean clothes once again! Tony is just a great guy -- someone I'd love to have as a neighbor. He arrived right on time for both appointments and didn't even charge extra when the sensor installation proved a bit more difficult than he anticipated. I couldn't be happier with my decision to engage the services of A Plus and have posted the company's number on my refrigerator (also a fossil by appliance standards) for future reference. It took two days for a technician to be deployed to fix a refrigerator that was no longer staying cool. Technician did arrive on time, but did not properly diagnose the problem, resulting in weekend text messages to triage the situation with the technician. Three days after the first repair, contacted A Plus Appliance Solutions to send someone back out to assess the situation with the refrigerator and was referred by the company that there was nothing else they could do and that we should purchase a new appliance. We sought a second opinion from a different company while we were waiting for delivery of a new refrigerator. Second company properly diagnosed issue, repaired refrigerator for 1/3 the price of a new refrigerator. Working with A Plus Appliances was a waste of time as well as a waste of money. read more
