I was looking at Pokémon Lego sets and found a person price gouging the item that Best Buy list it at 600 as well as Lego store but this person has it over 1200 for the item and I notified Best Buy who didn't care about it. I can't believe how bad this company has become and I will have to contact attorney general about this store. I have had other issues with this company who doesn't care about anything the public tells them but to make money. I even have gone to the store and needed assistance and the employees are huddled together just talking together and having a party not even working. You have a line of people at the registers and only 1 person working at the register. We were browsing for a new sound system this past weekend. We finally found one that would suit our needs. We found a customer service rep and asked her if she had any in stock. She happened to have one right by her station and turned to get it. While we were talking to her, she walked off to greet some friend and left us talking. eventually she returned and started ringing us up. When we declined the extended warranty she walked away and had a coworker finish a transaction. Is BB making money off extended warranties and consequently they pay their staff on how many they sell? Worst Customer Experience I've Ever Had Completely Unreliable and Zero Accountability I had the single worst customer experience of my life with this company. I scheduled a TV delivery and installation and made my time limitations absolutely clear. They promised me a specific delivery and mounting window and guaranteed they would be there. They never showed up. No call. No update. No courtesy message. Nothing. The situation only got worse when I tried to get answers. I contacted customer service multiple times, and not a single representative could explain what happened or provide any real help. I requested a manager call me back and was told I would receive a call within two hours. It has now been over 24 hours, and I still haven't heard a word from anyone. This is not just poor service , it's unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unreliable. When a company can't honor a scheduled appointment and can't bother to follow up with a customer who's trying to resolve their issue, it shows a total lack of accountability and basic customer care. I wasted my time, rearranged my day based on their promise, and received zero communication or support in return. I was there yesterday to pick up a soundbar. I asked the greeter where to go, she pointed me to the line where there was one guy waiting. After the one guy was done, the Best Buy employee walked away, chatted it up with his buddies, then just disappeared. I assumed he was taking a bathroom break, so I waited for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, the other Best Buy employees are waving customers to their counters, and I'm just standing there. There was one guy behind me. After 5 minutes, I went to the greeter and asked if anyone was going to handle pickup. She said yes and a different guy showed up at the counter a few minutes later. Then the greeter came up to me and said that I had cut in front of the guy in line. I explained the obvious that I had stepped out of line for 5 seconds to ask for some help I was then told by the greeter that I was antagonizing the guy, please stop. I said OK. You would think Best Buy have specialty people who understand, electronics, computers, etc. But many of them couldn't answer the questions and didn't know and said I don't know. I was very disappointed... And then they charge an arm and a Leg to get help from the geek squad...(& even they don't seem professional either ... meaning they try to sell you their insurance $179 protection... So today (11-3-2025), i went to best buy in the fountains. we went to buy a filter for our fridge and my mom had seen they have a better deal on amazon so we went to check out and Jocelyn (was spelled different) was the one to "help" us at the cash register and my mom asked her she can do a price match and she informed us that it can only be sold by amazon and shipped by amazon but with slight attitude but we ignored it. so then she called a manager to get a price change and she's helping another customer and he is explaining why he want to return and she asked the manager if she marks it open or something like that and he tells her its not that product and she looks at him and says "so what are you trying to do? you want a return dont you?" with really bad attitude and the guy is like yes and i tell her you don't have to be rude and she looks at me and says "babe your just mad that your not getting your price match" and my mom told her" shes not the one asking for a price match its me, and we aren't your babe we are paying customers " and i thought it was really rude especially because how many other people does she do this to throughout the day. especially working customer service just because your having a bad day does not mean you have to project that onto people who don't even know you. read more

Look man I haven't stepped into a store in months (other than the occasional walmart visit either early in the morning or late at night to get necessities. So Best Buy's curbside pickup is by far one of the best that we have used. They are impeccable as far as timing and quickness and best of all is that they are the nicest so far. Disclaimer: not all Best Buy stores are created equal. And such consideration should be kept in mind when searching for a store to install a car stereo/GPS receiver; especially since this seems to be the only Best Buy on the East side with a car tech. The one on Joe Battle still doesn't have one. Maybe I'll write a scathing review for *them* later. Meanwhile on planet Earth, I've been to THIS Best Buy which is a lot more typical and actually HAS everything. Including car techs. That's the main reason I was here today. Well, that...and to inevitably purchase a hundred dollar mouse for my computer, but that's neither here nor there. I had my car stereo installed at a different Best Buy in NC last year. Only I've been having nothing but intermittent problems with the Pandora and iPod apps. Then my SiriusXM radio decided it wanted to play "I'm broken", too and the audio cut out..almost to the point where it was like I didn't even have Sirius radio (despite the fact that I was still paying for it). So I literally dropped off my vehicle walk-in style, since making appointments at this place is pointless (and I'll get to why in a bit). Luckily, the guy wasn't that busy since it was only Thursday. He had like one other car before mine and got to mine in no time. Long story short, he fixed both problems aptly and fairly quickly. Well...he fixed the SiriusXM problem for sure because that was just a faulty antenna. As for the music cutting in and out, well...only time will tell on that one because all he really did was a hard reset which *might* have actually done the trick. But since the fault was random and intermittent to begin with, it was difficult to catch initially anyway. Geek Squad has this seemingly convenient set up on their site to book appointments. The problem with this is if you book an appointment on what happens to be a very busy night, it's almost like you're doing a walk-in anyway because depending on how many cars are already booked in front of you, you can get pushed to the side due to the techs falling behind on other jobs; inexorably making said appointment completely useless. That's my only real major complaint here. The other thing about this Best Buy is the fact that it's a bit larger than the one on Joe Battle. Which sucks, because that one is closer to my house. But oh well...if I have to drive all the way to The Fountains to find a "real" Best Buy, so be it. What I'm saying is: head to The Fountains location if you're looking to have any car stereo work done. The only thing you'll find on the Joe Battle location is an empty, unused garage in the back. read more

Well the Viscount store was awful and had to go, and this location is a SIGNIFICANT improvement, but maybe it's just the Fountains hype, but I was expecting a little more. Don't get me wrong, this store has everything you'd expect from a Best Buy, and everything is neatly organized, so there isn't anything missing, but personally I don't think it's better than the Joe Battle store. The Apple section stands out, I suppose. I did find it funny that they put Barnes & Noble gift cards right by their Kindle displays. Why did I give this place 4-Stars? I'm sure you're asking yourself that exact question.... In general, if a department/electronic store is good, it will usually get a 3 star rating. I mean it serves a purpose, but doesn't it warrant a 4th or even 5th star? Usually not. Those 4th and 5th Stars are more than likely reserved for restaurants or dope hotels or..... Disneyland. No, Legoland.... no... Sea World San Diego... anyways... First, let me get the one negative I have for this place out of the way; Parking. Its a B****. Straight up. Its nice that if you are coming from the Ceilo Vista side, that Best Buy is the first stop, however, I say again, Parking, is a B****. I have been to a lot of Best Buys before. I am drawn to the plethora of electronics they have. I am getting older, and from that weird generation that is kinda in the middle. We know about electronics, but didn't have them growing up, as they were not yet available to public. Kids grow up with this stuff these days. But as a poor kids from the streets of the Bay Area in the EARLLLY 80s, I didn't know about half this biz until I was already an adult... what I am saying is.. every time I walk into Best Buy, I feel like I am walking into the future. I love it. They have it all, and this location does not differ. I am not kidding.. dishwashers, vacuums, refrigerators, are included in the normal suspects that Best Buy has to offer. I was even surprised at that honestly... walked in once for a TV, and saw some high end Washer and Dryers.. I was like dammmmmnnnnn go 'head BB, cater to them customers. Multiple them demographics. BB stands for Best Buy, BB stands for Bout that Biz.. This location is very clean, and seemingly very new. You feel comfortable in the store. Its large enough so that even when crowded, it is not crowded. They have every product you need, and a very helpful staff. I went in looking for a new laptop, and explained my needs to one of the reps, and he walked me through everything and showed me exactly what kind I needed. He didn't try to sell me the $1100 laptop. Good for him. He didn't try to sell me the $200 laptop. Good for him. Instead, he actually listened to exactly what I needed it for, and found 2-3 laptops that would fit those exact needs, and then explained the difference and gave a list of pros and cons between those 2-3 laptops and left me to decide. Good for him. I am very pleased with the knowledge, and honesty of the sales rep I dealt with. Don't remember his name, but he was tall. lol. I say that only because I am 6'1". To me, he was tall. The pricing is what you would expect from a BB. Although I must say that I am happy with the deals i've found there. Places always have sales and different promotions, and maybe I am just lucky? Either way, I bought a 32" Panasonic LED TV for UNDER $200 (32" is perfect size for our bedroom, which is where we use it, and my wife will only buy Japanese products, so double score on that find). That was a sale price I believe, and anytime I can find a 32" LED under $200, SOLD! As far as the laptops go... they had ones ranging from $200 - $1200 and more. I am not talking about the iMacs etc, as I don't F*** with Apple except for iPhone. Love iPhone, don't care for the other stuff. Just not compatible for what I use it for. So these are all PC based laptops I am looking into. Anyways... if you saw the day I checked in there, you also saw me check in at Target, Wal-Mart, Office Depot etc etc... its because I was comparing products and prices. Oddly enough (or maybe not so odd), BB had the best product, AT the best price, as far as the laptops were concerned. Very pleased with that, and a bit surprised. This was not sale prices either. Just ... was. Overall I am pleased with this location and will for sure return. I bought a TV and set an appointment for delivery. Standard procedure is the delivery driver calls you 30min before the delivery. We waited all day and never got the call. Kept checking the app and it said order is being processed. 8pm and still no TV and no call. My app delivery status changed to I would have to schedule an appointment. I called the store and no answer. At 10am the next day, when the store opened I called and still no answer. I checked my app and the delivery had been removed from my app but the TV was still in my purchases. I called the customer care number 888-237-8289 and they said the delivery was marked as completed. The agent also tried to call the store and was unable to speak to anyone. She gave me a case number and said I would be contacted within 72hrs. I was never contacted. I contacted them again. Same information they gave me and said I would receive a call within 24hrs. No call again. I called and they still have no information. I asked for a corporate number, the agent gave me the wrong number. I called the store as to speak to the GM and the person that answers said he was unable to speak to me. I asked for the GMs name and he put me on hold then came back to the line. Bottom line is I bought a TV, it never got delivered, and no one is resolving the issue. read more

I was in the market for a new MacBook Pro and had gone in three separate visits to check on promotions. When I was finally ready to buy your sales rep in the department was no help. I guess he didn't think I was gonna buy. I have a line if credit with Best Buy so I wanted to purchase it there. My only ask was if I could get 18 months no interest. Apple was offering that but I didn't want to open up another credit card. Long story short sales rep said I can't do anything to help you. So I went right over to Apple and purchased my MacBook Pro. I went to Best Buy the next day with my coworker so he could purchase his MacBook and the A.M sales rep says "of course we could have honored the 18 months just had to call the bank." I have always liked going into Best buy, regardless of the store. I don't buy there very often, but more often than not I use the store just as a reference to see what new gadgets and gizmos have recently been released.. This Best Buy is almost brand new, and is fairly large. Inside, they carry damn near every type of electronics or appliance you could ask for. To me, what makes this store stand out is the way they have the store laid out. Even when there are a lot of people in the store, it doesn't feel crowded. I enjoy being able to browse or shop without the crowded or rushed feeling. Because this store is located within the Fountains at Farrah (FaF), parking isn't bad at all. It is a dedicated lot, however there are quite a few options for parking than there would be at most Best buys. On the upper level, you can park right in front of the store or travel down to the lower level, park in the "garage", then take the elevator/escalator up to the upper level where the store is located. With 4 or 5 exits from the FaF compex, you can easier get to I10 even in high traffic times. read more

My husband and I ended up breaking our tv and went to best buy to purchase a new one. The clerk was helpful with everything, yes. She even set us up with a best buy credit card, which was nice. So we got the tv great. But 3 months later we are being given the run around with best buy corporate and customer service reps, due to the fact that our debit card now has about 250 unathorized purchases trying to be deducted. and they are "in store purchases" from Richfield MN. The fact that they match Amazons prices, just by showing them Amazons Price check app on your phone, they match the price right there on anything in store. If I could give less than 1 star I would. This is about the Gerk Squad of the Best Buy at the Fountains in El Paso, TX. They permanently damaged my touch screen doing the simple task of replacing the battery. I'm a senior citizen who had to drive 1.5 hours each way four times to the store to address the problem with no resolution. Then they tried to blame me for a problem that only occurred (loss of touch screen) AFTER they handled my phone. Then they tried to say Apple told them it was the user's fault meaning me. Then on top of that they wanted to charge me $300+ to refurbish my phone. They may be Apple certified but they do not serve at the same level as Apple. This Best Buy do not stand behind their work. We called Apple and they overruled Best Buy and only Apple was willing to help us out. Apple should withdraw this Best Buy's certification IMHO. read more

The Geek Squad damaged my phone during repairs and then blamed me. Took my iPhone s6+ in to Best Buy to replace the battery as they are authorized by Apple to make repairs. The phone worked just fine before I left the phone with them. I paid the $60+ bill for the work and took the phone home. Well it worked off and on and the screen froze thereafter. Took the phone to another authorized Apple dealer and they said the sensors under the screen were damaged which can happen when the phone is opened improperly. Took the phone back and the Geek Squad there sent it to Apple. Geek Squad said they did not damage the sensors during the repair so they will not do anything. I can tell you I do not open the phone nor did anyone else. Best Buy will not fix their mistakes and will only deny they are responsible. What kind of business is this? No phone, so sad. read more

I went in to buy a laptop for my daughter..the first salesperson I talked to was no help at all....I was feeling a bit discouraged when up walked Chris S., he was amazing. He listened to all of my needs and was able to point me in the right direction. After we settled on which laptop was my best choice, we began to talk a bit about TV's....he used to work in that department so he was a wealth of information. I found a 32 inch Sony I could not live without. He happened to mention that they were having a sale on games...buy two get one free...so off I went looking for games while he patiently waited for me to make my choices often times answering my question from "a man's point of view". As I am getting ready to go, i notice that they have wireless keyboards for my Ipad. He walked me though all of the ins and outs and yes...I bought not just one, but two of them. So let me re-cap...I came in for one laptop and left with a TV, two wireless keyboards and three games. I never one time felt like I was being talked down to or pressured into buying. They told me they couldn't do anything about it, "We don't touch Apples". Well, if you don't touch them, then why do you sell them?! The geek squad employee (who are just as bad as the Best Buy employees) told me that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to repair the key because they would have to send it to apple. Well, I went to the Apple store instead and they said the parts to fix my laptop would be delivered in 3 to 5 business days and installation would take a day or two. recently bought a Microsoft Office 365 software at this location and had the worst experience. I intended to buy the personal version of Microsoft, but instead I was sold the business version. Adding insult to injury, the $130 Microsoft Office product key does not work. I have gone to the store twice in order to get a refund. I showed my receipt to the manager and explained what had happened, yet he refused to give me a refund. He said the only thing he could possibly do is swap it for the same version. The business and personal versions of the software are not the same, the business version has to be renewed so often and the personal version is for personal usage and is a one time purchase. I spoke to Microsoft and they said best buy is the one who should issue me a refund since I bought through a third party. Be careful when buying a software at Best Buy, you will struggle to get a refund. If you need a Microsoft Office software, buy at Microsoft, third parties don't like to refund softwares. BEST BUY? Service is great but the laptop they sold me sucked. I bout an HP laptop from there and I thought it was a brand new, never been used , laptop. Well apparently it was used because as I tried to download the Microsoft 365, that I also bout from Best Buy, I noticed that i was taking forever. I got a pop up saying it couldn't fully download and I had to call the 888 number on the screen. The card for the Microsoft 365 didn't have a contact number so I called it thinking it was the Microsoft company. It was a scam because they was trying to get me to purchase an updated version that was between $100 to $300 depending on the years i choose. Im like WTH. Um no...... Bye. And the person on the phone was moving things on my screen from his on personal computer. The laptop had viruses and i only had used the laptop for an hour and all I looked at was Google. It's ridiculous how something like that happened on the same day i bout it. So I had to take it right back to Best Buy. Got a refund that took about 3 days to be refunded back to my bank card. If the laptop was refurbished, how come the geek squad didn't clean the laptop from viruses and why not tell me at the store that it was a used laptop. If i wanted a used laptop i would of went to a pawnshop and paid less than $300 for one. Like old saying, (You get what you pay for). Buyer beware! Best Buy assumes that any item that breaks is your fault! I have had good experiences with Best Buy in the past, until I tried to return an item that broke. I bought a Gorilla tripod for an action camera and one leg broke the 3rd day I had it. The customer service manager told me I can't return a broken item.
