Decided to take my chances and walk in the mall to look for a GameStop...thought there's no chance in hell they will have the bundle pack console my son wants, and if they do it will probably be a LOT more or so packed I'll just turn around and head back to the families home. I was wrong. It wasn't so busy I'm assuming because I missed the mad rush...it was 910 at this point. Walked in and greeted by the people who worked there. A friendly manager asked if he could help and I definitely did. I asked him about the Xbox and he asked if it was the one in the ad. Told him my situation and I'm not sure. To my surprise they had pretty much the same deal as Costco! Which was $50 less then everywhere else. Target, Walmart, Best Buy! And I didn't have to be there at 4am to get it. They had 1 more left and I bought it. But let me tell you the real reason I even bothered to write this review. Jonathan, he was the most kindest, patient, friendly person I had ever encountered in retail and especially on Black Friday! There was a lot of questions he asked me just to be sure he had qualified me and made sure I had everything I needed for my sons new game system. I had to call the bf to see if I needed these extra things or not and he was just so patient and told me no rush and he didn't seem irritated or anything that it took me a little to gather the info I needed for my purchase. Obviously the store is new and shiny right now, so that doesn't make it a "Plus," all the "Plus" I could tell was that they had a counter with a couple of tablets you could try out, but nothing really out of the ordinary, GS has been selling tablets and other electronics for a while. I think the UTEP GameStop is bigger, more "Plus." Still, not a bad location, there are much tinier more cramped ones out there.

We went to all major retailers and a couple of used computer shops but had no luck. Roger at Edgar's was able to locate a used charger that worked for us. It was a little pricey ($55) for a 9 year old used charger but we were glad he had it and paid the price. The perk was playing with his massive cat that seemed to weigh 25 lbs.

I wish I had been warned that forcing Windows 11 onto older, unsupported hardware can lead to serious instability in a short period of time. I understand that to some of you this may sound weird but it makes total sense. Why spend $1200 laptop repair in a $400 laptop. To me that's speaks highly about this business ethics, they are clear and honest with the client rather than cheat them, now days you don't easily encounter that. Afterwards they made me feel at ease. The repair took a bit over a week. They were courteous and called me once it was ready. I definitely recommend and would come back again.
