    The advertised price, versus the regular price.

    Beware of the deceitful business practices at this BestBuy. I went shopping for a pair of headphones and I chose a pair of Sony with the advertised price of $99.99, a $50 discount. I'm ready to pay but the clerk wouldn't honor the advertised price. Upon requesting he talk with his manager, the manager came back and he wouldn't honor the advertised price either, using some broken sku machine excuse. I requested again to have the price honored but he still refused. I said ok, and started walking out, and as I was walking away, the manager had the gall to sarcastically wish me to have a good day. False advertisement, for sure.

    *** RISK TO FAMILY SAFETY / FIRE HAZARD INSTALL*** First off, our sales rep was amazing. Staci really went out above and beyond to provide wonderful customer service. She kept us up to date on the delivery of the product, the site visit, and the install date. She has also helped funnel the information about our situation to the right people to ensure management is aware. On the other hand, the contractor assigned for the installation has caused major damage to our house. Recently had an oven installed and it did not go well. The oven smoked up the house, the contractor left paper attached to the oven, damaged the wall, and shoddy wirework. The installation is a fire hazard and not up to code. The contactor damaged the stovetop and oven when tampering with the wiring. They are both a fire hazard until electrical and drywall are repaired. The unit was damaged upon installation. The contractor wired it incorrectly and the oven smoked and popped. He pulled out the oven and redid the wires but the damage had been done. He said BestBuy will cover the replacement. How could he leave the job knowing this could be a fire hazard and compromise the safety of the family? It's upsetting to think the house could have burnt down because of the faulty installation, injury, or death to the customer/family. The unit is on backorder until July. We (a family of 4) need to figure out how to make meals while we wait for repairs and the replacements. To file a claim we have to process it with Sedgwick Claims Management Services. It took a week calling multiple times a day to get contacted. I did eventually get an email but be ready to deal with a slow process. I am awaiting a response and would like to work toward a resolution. Given the risk involved and damages, we never received a call from store leadership with genuine concern and apologies for our inconvenience.

    Best Buy's floor layouts are always mapped like winding mazes but at least there's an associate every five feet looking to offer some direction. I'm signed up with the gaming program, something like $20 a year gets your 20% off gaming purchases for 12 months, so I'm here every time there's a big game drop. Space is clean, shelves well-stocked, employees informed, I've never had an issue and I'll likely continue scooping up my games here.

    Manager refused to give us a damaged box discount (the last and only one in store).

    I want to leave a fair and honest review because not every part of this experience was bad, but…read moreoverall it was extremely frustrating and stressful. The biggest issue was communication and customer service from A Appliances themselves. The installation process took about a week because of multiple delays, wrong parts, last-minute rescheduling, and poor coordination. The washer also did not work properly immediately after installation due to an installation issue involving the water valve/setup. Thankfully, the technicians later corrected the problem and the unit is now functioning properly. To be fair, the third-party installers eventually became very cooperative and professional once we were all able to calmly communicate and troubleshoot the issue together. I appreciated their understanding and calm communication throughout the process. However, my interactions with A Appliances over the phone were a completely different experience. The communication was unnecessarily confrontational and rude, even while I was actively trying to resolve payment and get everything handled professionally. At one point, while the appliance was still not functioning correctly and before the installation issues had been resolved, I was repeatedly pressured for payment and was told that the warranty could be revoked if payment was not made immediately. That was extremely concerning considering the washer was not even operating properly yet. There was also confusion regarding my previous stackable unit, which was initially left blocking the driveway instead of being placed properly in the garage as discussed beforehand. In the end, the appliance is working and the situation was eventually resolved, which is why I'm not leaving a 1-star review. But the overall process, communication, and customer service experience with the company itself definitely need improvement.
