7.5.26 My hubby and I went to Best buy today to go purchase me a laptop for my Yalli'pops business. our customer service representative in the computer's department was Juan. One of the best and most knowledgeable most friendly CSR person I have ever met. You know when it comes to financing my brain just goes blurrr but to have Juan explain about the finances and the credit card that comes just with Best buy or with Best buy and the Visa he explained it so thoroughly that I was able to understand him I even told him if I was an employee and I had to shadow him I would get it probably on the first try and explain to other customers what the difference are. So don't ask me because I need Juan by my side. Just in case I mess up. he took his time to explain to us about the differences of the laptops that I was looking for he knew what I needed because I explained to him I need a big computer old ladies getting blind and really needs to see her typing skills on the screen. And I wanted a 10 key because I love the idea of having a tanky whenever I'm doing an Excel program. So he got me what I needed he asked me the details of what my use of the laptop is and we went from there I got me a Levono Yoga laptop. a 16-in laptop. We also purchased some monitor for our other motherboard computer and what a deal they had today on that one it was ASUS and the monitors for gaming and it was on sale for $99 what a deal from $169. So we had to order that because he sold out of them the day before or on 4th of July so in two days we will receive our new monitor and looking forward to sitting down at a computer and working on some other projects that I have. he was wonderful he was straightforward he was calm he was cool collective smiling beats all these other customer service out there where there never smiling they're not happy they're looking at you like oh please don't come towards me yeah he was not like that. Go see him I told him I was going to tell everybody on Yelp to go out and see Juan and ask for his customer service Don't ask for anybody else ask for Juan Juan would be the only one that can help you out He's multitalited very specific and very helpful Go see Juan. Best buy I just want you guys to know that Juan would be a great trainer to all customer service representative out there on the floor he would work with each and every one of those guys and gals and would get credit cards rolling in for Best buy he is top-notch he deserves a raise and a higher position I don't even know the guy and I want to give him that So Best buy you need to do that he should be an assistant manager to a manager someday really soon I mean really soon. Do NOT purchase anything from Best Buy. You only have a 2 week return window (You cannot return at all after 2 weeks), their customer service is terrible, and their prices are higher. Amazon has a way better price, value, and customer service if needed. They're both corporations so just let this one tank. read more

We have been coming to this Best Buy for years. Customer service is mediocre at best but the prices usually can't be beat. Our most recent visit we bought a few appliances: vacuum, air fryer and humidifier. The Dude at geek squad does not know what he's talking about there needs to be a manager on shift 24/7 to watch all these people are talking. It's not right that one geek squad place says one thing and then another geek squad place says another that makes Fresno location. Look really really bad. Bought a CyberpowerPC May 31st, 2026. Went to take it out of the box June 2nd. While taking it out of the box the tempered glass basically exploded and pieces of glass fell on the carpet and in the box, not to mention on someone's bare feet. The guy at the Geek Squad counter kept twisting my words trying make it sound like it was our fault. I did not see his final description. What should have happened is: they should of given me a replacement right then and there. I assumed they did not have one in stock. It ends up getting sent for repair. Quoted up to 6 weeks for this to get done. He said I would owe $99. I said no. This is on warranty and you guys talked me into buying some two year membership for $179 which I did not read the fine print (who has time to read the tiniest print on several pages while you're trying to buy your item and get out of the store in a timely manner). Two weeks later I get a call from Geek Squad saying I needed to approve the $99 in order for them to continue ordering the parts to even fix it. Of course I blew up upon learning the guy at the store made it sound as if we were negligent in removing it from the box and trying to set it up. In other words our fault. If the glass breaks in a million pieces why would we even try to set it up. Now I have to ask for a manager when I go to pick it up who knows when, and explain to him the reality of the situation. I had my phone battery replaced here yesterday. It's a very different shop than it used to be. It's got home appliances and tvs/computers as the main focus now. It's not a bad shop and the staff were nice. $100 to replace a phone battery isn't bad at all and very reasonably priced allowing me not have to deal with Apple. I will say they offer some nice services but some are totally taking advantage of older people, they have a service where they can setup your laptop or computer and it's geared towards older people who don't know how tech works. They have more caring staff than the last few times I've been in. I knocked down a few stars because they've gotten rid of the media section and have very limited options on most stuff these days read more

In the market for a cheap little laptop for my craft room, along with an all in one printer. Score! I found a little HP for less than $200 and a Brother printer for $89. They didn't have the printer at the Fresno store, but they did have it at Clovis. The guy helping me had already called Clovis to have them snag the last one there for me. So October 15th I bought Battle Field 6 as a Christmas gift but unfortunately my adult son bought the game. So wanted to exchange for another game and learn of the two week return policy and basically female employee just came across as suck it up buttercup because you are past the two weeks. A-Team Geek Squad delivers/installs a new ranger in one of my rental units: Chardonnay and Martin were both personable and easy to work with. I was particularly impressed with Chardonnay's ability to listen well and have a good communication skills. Listening is a lost art these days with people constantly cutting each other off and not letting somebody finish. Every job has some anomalies or unique things that are helpful for people to know about (and significant). IF folks aren't listening, you can't pass those helpful things on. And so as always, thinking ahead, I pulled the old unit out, vacuumed the space and cleaned it all out with Pine-Sol and a good scrub. Don't expect anybody else to do something like that for you, especially not an install crew. If you haven't personally been on top of this in the past, have an older home/unit, expect it to be bad. And potentially 'clean suit' disgusting. You don't get a second shot to prepare the space so to do it well! It's YOUR time to shine (pun intended)! Honestly, I appreciate new tools and appliances. I enjoy researching them, selecting them and get a bit excited (improvements). I'm always reminded about how important the good people are who make these things possible, to the Lord who supples EVERY need! And so, in gratitude, I thank you Lord for both the resources and the skills/desire to help ensure good decision making, planning, thinking ahead and dignifying the process. Alejandro was completely unprofessional. Shirt untucked with a backwards hat on looking as sloppy as possible, he looks like he should be working as a cook at Chuck-E-Cheese! I just had a horrendous experience with Best Buy a month ago we bought a Dishwasher from them. When they came to install it the installer said that the dishwasher wouldn't fit. So he took it back and we went and ordered another dishwasher based on the measurements that the installer provided. This dishwasher was supposed to be installed today. I got a text confirming the installation made all the preparations. Then I find out my dishwasher was to be delivered by a third party delivery company but not installed because Best Buy didn't have any install kits. So they are going to drop the dishwasher off and Best Buy would arrange to have an installer come by. The delivery person suggested that we open the box to make sure it wasn't freight damaged. Then he said we should make sure it fits before we take it out of the box. When he measured the opening he said it didn't fit. So they took the dishwasher back. We went down to Best Buy and they were more then happy to give us a refund. I guess when your that big customer service doesn't apply. When I got home and look at the refund recipe it said GE and not Whirlpool. We had ordered a Whirlpool and if they had delivered the correct dishwasher it probably would have fit. Because of this gross mistake I will never shop at Best Buy again. read more

The service this time from Best Buy was horrible. My son and I were in line to check out. A girl comes forward to let us know that there's a line for pick up and one for checking out. A majority of that line moved to check out. 2 cashiers are calling pick up only orders. I'm 1st in line to check out. 4 people for pick up were called ahead of me. The 5th person decided to let the cashier CARLOS know that I was there first, Carlos says no sir, come forward so I can help you. Daisy called me up next to check out. She had another associate go find my product and while I waited, she helped another customer. That was great situational awareness, and customer service. Carlos on the other hand was rude, his demeanor was that of a struggling supervisor and only rude, stern and angry tones seemed to make him feel like he was doing something beneficial. A customer comes up to Carlos after he was done with his bc current customer, Carlos tells the customer to get back in line and to wait because he was leaving the counter for a few. Then proceeds to walk by on his phone. There was only 2 people left in line. Why not help them out too. There was at least 10+ people In line and to walk away at only 2, is crazy. Unfortunately I think the perception is very wrong that Carlos gives off. If he's doing g his best, it's costing Best Buy great customer service that I'm used to. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who felt that way because the people in line talk. read more

I haven't been to a Best Buy in years because I can shop for my electronics online or through the source. Anywho my mother wanted an Apple Mac Book Pro and Best Buy had a pretty good sale compared to Apple by a few hundred dollars off. My mom booked it for me online so I didn't have to find the Mac Book and go through the process. When my niece and I arrived I was greeted by staff and found myself at the express pick up line. Since I already paid for the Mac Book all I had to do was show ID and that was it. I was in Best Buy under 5 minutes. My mom loved her Mac Book and I saved a lot of money and time. Shopping in the time of a pandemic is challenging and stressful. Just knowing which store is open and what they have in stock can be problematic. And who has times for stress and problems during a pandemic? That's how I felt when it was time to replace my 10-year old MacBook Pro. The Apple store in Fashion Fair Mall where I had previously purchased Apple products opened and then closed, and even while open presented a distancing nightmare. Someone suggested Best Buy, a store I had never visited and that I didn't know sold Apple products. I could make an appointment online. When I showed up at the store, the concierge showed me where to stand, where to sit, and I was soon meeting with my salesperson. Everything was clean, well marked, and easy to navigate. I knew the model I wanted, it was in stock, and the whole sale took less than 15 minutes. When complete, the salesperson escorted me back to the exit and said goodbye. At no time was I close to other customers or even employees. I would highly recommend Best Buy for Apple products. read more

Came to shop for phone charger and I was waiting for someone to assist me and the only person that came with someone who worked for Samsung . But I needed assistance for Apple products And she referred me back to the Samsung products. So I went back to the same original person and asked them if they can request someone to come and assist me again no one came. I then looked around and ask a gentleman can you help me but he said he worked in the stockroom and would get me someone. He then asked an associate named Jose to come assist me he was more than knowledgeable and kind about Apple products and gave me the best advice because he had Apple products himself. He listened to all my questions and compare that to his own experiences and was able to tell me what the issue was possibly and how I can fix it. Overall this turned an unsatisfactory visit to Best Buy to a pleasant one that I hope doesn't result in a return. I was shopping online, and attempted to buy an open box stove. I kept getting error messages, and spent almost 30 minutes on hold w customer service before driving to store. When I arrived, appliance salesman was rude , and told me they probably didnt have what website said they had, and then wandered off without even looking. I asked for a manager, and the manager looked everywhere and found it.... except it was the right part number on the wrong stove. They did not have the open box, or a new one, within 150 miles. While they did offer to order me one, I was done dealing with them. They used to have awesome customer service, but that is long gone. read more
