My wife and I have visited the Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery in Fresno on three separate occasions while planning a full kitchen remodel for our home. We were prepared to spend over $20,000 on a new high-end refrigerator, among other items--but after our experience, we'll be taking our business elsewhere. Each time we visited, we were completely ignored. Not once did an employee acknowledge us, say hello, or offer assistance. The staff remained seated behind their desks, focused on their computers, and never even looked up to engage. For a showroom that features premium products and caters to homeowners making significant investments, the complete lack of basic customer service is both surprising and unacceptable. At this price point, I would expect a much higher standard of professionalism and hospitality. Unfortunately, Ferguson Fresno fell far short. If you're looking for helpful guidance or even just to be treated like a valued customer, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. read more

Updated review: I did eventually have a good resolution to this by talking to the showroom manager. She quickly resolved my issue and we ended up with a purchase. The takeaway from this for me is that as a customer, being more proactive in getting my needs met by someone in a higher position at the time is the fairest way towards resolution. read more

My microwave went out within the first 2 weeks of having it but that's not why it's 1 star. They took the broken one with the frame connected to it, and were going to come back with a new one once the electricians tightened up the wiring. That happened. Then I called here to get an appointment set up. They came and told me oh there's supposed to be a frame piece to put the microwave on, we'll figure it out and come back. I said no worries! Then I called to set up an appointment. I did that, another two guys came ready to install the microwave. AGAIN no frame and they made it seem like I lost it. Then I called and lady on the phone said yeah the first guys said they left the whole frame set with the woman at the house. I said no. The lady on the phone basically made it seem like my wife somehow lost this big frame piece and was rude about it. I emailed and called higher up people. Nothing happened. Then I thought to check my camera at the exact date and time... thank god I did. It got this guy walking out with the frame connected to the microwave and I emailed the picture. They finally replaced my damn microwave. I was out of a microwave for two months because of this lying dude. If this is you lmk. Blaming us saying we lost our frame, making us not have a microwave for two months. Hit me up. read more

One of the more challenging home owner obstacles is having your water heater fail beyond repair and suddenly, you become really aware about how much we rely on hot water coming out of the shower or kitchen sink. It's a ton of stress not knowing what to do or who to turn to for getting beyond the challenge. My luck changed for the better when our plumber Scott advised me to purchase a great water heater they have at Fergusons. So I called Fergusons and reached Cathy who was really helpful in finding the Water Heater specified by my plumber and set up an account for me to purchase it. This took stress off me knowing we're actually moving on a fix, I'm talking to somebody that cares we don't have a water heater and she coached me how to go in to Fergusons, what to say, she gave me an account number to use and everything she told me to do was 100% correct when I went in to meet Matt, who was equally caring, knew his business and helped me complete the payment and delivery process and even took the initiative to find somebody that could deliver the unit on a short lead time. All of what I'm saying in appreciation is multiplied by 10 because I was in a tough spot, the 2 Ferguson Employees I worked with were totally concern of my dilemma, they knew their jobs, they were helpful in explaining all aspects of my purchase to help reinforce their credibility and let me go home feeling like I was given awesome level of quality in product and customer service at a reasonable cost. We stopped by Ferguson first on the day we needed to make a decision on a bath tub for an addition in the works. They had some fancy stuff there in the displays. No one was there to help us out, so we wandered around the showroom for a bit. I then noticed someone entering the showroom and checking in at the counter. So we got in line behind them. It appears you typically make an appointment when doing business here. (??). When it was our turn at the counter, we told the girl what we were there for. She pulled up a couple pics of tubs they could order and gave us a printout of one of them we liked. The hubby said he wanted to check a couple other places before making a decision. I'm glad we did check out other options, as we found the exact same tub as one of the options at Ferguson somewhere else for $400 less! The girl at the counter was very nice when we were there, I'm just thinking this store may be more upscale than me! read more

William Ward was very helpful and professional. He found what I was looking for quickly. I walked in stressed. An Elkay sink that we has purchased online (Amazon) was in the back of my truck to be returned to the place of origination. That sink was red in color and we had waited 5 weeks to find out we ordered the wrong sink. After wandering around in Ferguson, I did not find what I was looking for. And then I ran into William! He asked me what I was looking for and the needs to fit the current countertop. I walked out of Ferguson with the knowledge and relief I came looking for. William was laid-back, no-pressure professional. He sent me a link to order the sink. I had to check with 2 different contractors before I was able to complete the order. William made it easy for me! Definitely look up William Ward when you go to this Ferguson's on Laverne Street. It's a beautiful showroom. Don't let that fool you. They are also Build.com and have an extensive inventory through there. I also confirmed their pricing is competitive with all other online venues. The products are good but overpriced. I was given a valve that did not match our tub shower combo. The mirrors were discontinued and not offered a replacement. I emailed and called my sales rep and she never called or emailed back. There was a different sales rep that called me back and offered her services. I would much rather go to Lowe's or home depot. Don't waste your time. Customer service is non existent. We are remodeling a bathroom and needed a new cooktop for the kitchen. My husband was in contact with Will regarding pricing and when we were ready to purchase everything and take one last look he said he was available and not to worry about appointment. So my husband went in and he was busy helping someone else (totally fine) 30 min later and nothing. My husband tried asking someone else for help and they said they wouldn't help him because it was based on commission. This is one of the handful of issues we've had visiting this showroom. Total shame because we were ready to spend money. Ended up at Central Distributing, better prices and way better people. Also, after reading through the rest of the reviews, this seems like a terrible problem to have. People willing to spend money and no one willing to take the time to help them. Purchased a refrigerator and I was told that I need to purchase the door handles and a water supply line. I had no choice but to order the door handles through the manufacturer, and bought the water supply line at a local hardware store. But the good thing is I was told I would receive free delivery and installation. Once the refrigerator was delivered, the delivery company removed the refrigerator from the box and pushed the refrigerator into the spot it was going to go into, then left all the cardboard and packing material in the middle of the kitchen stating that they don't take the box and packing materials and they don't appliances. I immediately called Ferguson who confirmed that they don't install, but the delivery service should take the box and materials. The delivery company returned and took the boxes and packing. I wish this was the end of this story, but it's not the refrigerator did come with handles and the water supply line, therefore, I had to return the handles through Ferguson, it been over 2-weeks now and no money returned yet. The water king return a the local hardware store was handles the same day, including getting my money back. While reading the installation directions, it states the refrigerator must be installed by a qualified company representative. Otherwise the warrantee would be void. Wow, this is too much! The Ferguson rep I talked to said she would have the sales rep call me back, but you guessed it, no call back, text or email. Won't be returning to Ferguson. read more

We went to Ferguson's at the recommendation of our contractor. We were greeted by William Ward. This is the guy to ask for. He was so friendly and helpful. He is very knowledgeable in faucets, sinks and appliances. I wanted a short apron farm sink. It was difficult to find available anywhere, but William found it. Don't be intimidated when you walk in and think you can't afford anything there. Prices are reasonable and they will mark down items that they are able to. In late January I contacted Ferguson Plumbing and ordered a copper farmhouse sink through their Build.com website. I received the boxed sink but when my contractor opended the box he found the smal bowl dented and one of the edges of the sink bent. I paid extra for one day shipping. I contacted Build.com and they shipped a second sink. The second sink was also dented in on the small bowl. I contacted Build.com again and waited for a third sink. After waiting a week I contacted Build.com again and they had misplaced the order and would be shipping a third sink. I was refunded half the one day shipping fee I had paid in January. It has been a month and my contractor finally installed my third undamaged sink. I wrote to Ferguson and I all I received was a "Sorry". My perception of Ferguson Plumbing, Build.com and Signature Hardware is they have poor quality control and even less customer service. read more

Ordered Farmhouse sink from this place and was guaranteed it be delivered by the Friday of that week. In preparation to install sink I had contractor read to cut cabinets and install brace for sink over weekend also took day off to receive delivery. Called early to make sure everything was still good with order and delivery. Person that took call said she would look into it and have someone call me back that never happened. I got call from FedEx late afternoon stating that they just received a contact number for me from the shipping company and that they needed that information to schedule delivery due to a signature needed for delivery. Ferguson's never called me back and didn't care when I called them to speak with manager. Poor customer service and they take no responsibility for the delivery not getting to my house in time. A beautiful store , so nice to walk through , , seeing the great ideas in their "kitchens" , the beautiful appliances , the lovely bathroom and kitchen fixtures. The only ugly thing in the store was the total lack of customer service and support . I don't like to be "bugged" when I'm browsing , that's why I avoid car lots Lol! BUT at least an acknowledgment of your presence and a polite " is there anything I can help you find or do you have questions ?" , would be highly appreciated . It's an ugly feeling to walk in , to see Ferguson's "salespeople " , eyes glued to their computers, the silent message , " do not bother me , I'm busy." Not once did anyone look up and at least acknowledge the presence of a potential customer the entire time I browsed the store . Maybe Ferguson's has all the customers they need and their lovely high end establishment is not concerned with generating new business . It seems that they have forgotten that lovely showrooms and quality appliances mean NOTHING if you forget that the backbone of your establishment are the people that walk in the front door . Maybe I wasn't dressed high end enough that day and didn't look worthy of your precious time. Maybe it was my day off and I was cute and casual in my denim jeans and sandals .. little did you know, because you never asked , that I'm remodeling my home and was prepared to purchase from Ferguson's that day a refrigerator , washer , dryer, double oven and cooktop , a dishwasher , microwave , ,garbage disposal , tankless water heater system , a clawfoot bathtub , 2 new toilets and a kitchen and vanity sink , not to mention all new fixtures for kitchen and bath. I just needed a little help , to make sure my desires and the dimensions I needed were correct . As I browsed your store for well over 40minutes 3 salespeople completely ignored me as they must have had " bigger fish to fry " and I certainly wasn't going to approach them ., I'm to be approached , not the other way around . As I walked out of your beautiful establishment that day it struck me that all the effort put into making this gorgeous showroom means nothing if the people that represent Ferguson's have zero capacity to treat customers as valuable read more

Went to the show room, beautiful sinks. However I wanted a basic kitchen sink to replace my old one. I was lead to the nuts and bolts office and was shown several regular sinks. In July 2019, my brother and I went shopping for a toilet to replace the current toilet. We knew that Toto was a top brand, so we talked to our plumber, Andrew Sheppard, who suggested that we go to Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting in Seaside. As we entered the nicely supplied showroom, we were greeted by the receptionist near the entrance. After only a few minute wait, she directed us to Chris Cappetti, a customer service representative. Ferguson was "god-sent" for us!!! Chris greeted us, sat us down at his desk, and gave us the upmost attention in answering or finding answers to all of our questions about a top-notched toilet. He gave us his total attention and was very warm, cordial, and knowledgeable!!! We decided on the Toto Drake II elongated toilet which Chris was able to get shipped to Ferguson's warehouse within a couple of days to meet our tight deadline for the plumber to install. In addition, Ferguson gave us a competitive pricing on the new toilet. Chris followed up with the our highly recommended plumber, ANDREW SHEPPPARD, by notifying Andrew of the expected date of delivery as well as following up with us on the expected delivery date. Today, on July 25th, the Toto Drake II toilet arrived promptly within 2 days so that we were able to get our plumber to install it this afternoon. There were no complications or flaws in the toilet and we were totally pleased and "Extremely Satisfied" with the entire transaction with Ferguson from the time we entered the showroom, to having Chris Cappetti as our sales rep, and finally having Andrew Sheppard's plumbing install the new Toto Drake II toilet today!!! My brother and I set very high expectations whenever we purchase any item for our place and we are meticulous in keeping it spotless.
