So, I purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy back in May 2020. When the guy came to install it, he said that it couldn't be installed due to fit. That was fine. He said that in the matter of two days, I'd have my refund. Guess what? It's almost August 2020. I've been on the phone with several people have several case numbers and have been promised a refund, but still have NOT gotten my refund. 12+ hours of my time wasted with multiple transfers and too many hang ups to count. Best Buy swears that they are a customer service forward company, well that's clearly a lie. They don't care about their customers and they swindle people. I'm out of $625 with no product to even justify the loss of money. And even though they are the only company that has the fridge that we want, my $1700 will be spent elsewhere. Horrible customer service and their supervisors don't even want to speak to anyone on the phone. read more

Scheduled an above fireplace nook mount for a 65" TV. Purchased a mount from Best Buy and another from Amazon to facilitate the install on Feb 29th. I was told that both would work together to provide the functionality I requested. Installers arrive Feb 29th and state that the two do NOT work together and I needed a faux wall installation. I returned the extra mount to Amazon and scheduled the installation for the following Saturday Mar 7th. I had a feeling the lady did not understand the request because nothing was changed in my order. I went back to the store on Mon March 2nd and spoke with two members of the Home Theater section. They both assured me that the order was correct and showed me the screen sowing a zero balance. On Thursday Mar 5th, I received a call in the evening from one of the original installers.He stated that he was checking his schedule and that they had not added the SKU for the install as yet and that he was sending an email to his supervisor to get this handled. Friday March 6th, I go to the store to see if everything is going as planned and they tell me that it has to be rescheduled AGAIN due to the build out. I asked for some form of compensation for the amount of time I have put into checking up on this and a manager named Justin gave me the installation for free after all of this trouble and the second installation.They scheduled the installation for Tues Mar 10th. I continued to get emails stating the installation was coming Saturday Mar 7th but was told to ignore them. Saturday Mar 7th, I get a call from Ethan with Geek Squad stating that he has to update the order because it is not written up right and that he has to put in a 'dummy' date to change the installation to the correct information. Ethan stated that they would 'force' the installation on Tuesday Mar 10th as requested and scheduled from my interaction Friday Mar 6th. I called today to check on the time schedule and I am told that they cannot do the delivery tomorrow when I will be home. I never authorized a Thursday delivery and am so frustrated at this point that I intend to return all services and products purchased and never shop at this store again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased a TCL 32" Roku TV from the Garner, NC store in White Oak. I took the TV home and went to set it up for my son just to find that there were no stands for the TV included. I went to return the TV to the same store and was "helped" by Keiara and Nicolette. They proceeded to tell me that "It was not their problem." They also told me that if I wanted to return the TV that I would have to pay $40 for the 2 missing TV stands that I never received. I was completely taken aback by the fact that they were charging me for the very reason I was returning the TV in the first place. I asked to speak to the store manager and Nicolette refused to let me speak to them. I had my 4 year old son with me and after I was charged the $40 and turned to leave, Keiara turned to a male employee and said "I don't give a shit if she is mad, she can fuckin leave." My 4 year old heard this, as did I. I confronted her about what she said and she shrugged her shoulders at me and stated that she "did not care if we heard her or not." Nicolette stood there and did not issue any kind of disciplinary action for Keiara's behavior- just a smirk. So, I paid a fee of $40 (30% the value of the TV) that I am not even responsible for, for a TV that is only worth $129.99. I have been a customer for years and have spent thousands of dollars at Best Buy. I have never been treated this poorly in any store I have ever been in. read more

Do not buy LG appliances in the Raleigh area!!! There are no authorized service providers in the area! I bought a LG washer and dryer from this store two years ago. They were not cheap. Two years after purchase a nut fell off the motor. It took me two weeks to find a repair person, the only one available, an LG direct technician. They charged $200 for a 30 min. repair. Local authorized technicians generally charge $70 for this service. read more

This review is in regards to their customer service after a faulty dishwasher installation. My new dishwasher was installed on a Wednesday. On Saturday I opened the under sink cabinet to get cleaning supplies to find the entire cabinet filled with a water puddle. Water was dripping constantly from the connection between the sink and dishwasher. I immediately called and they said the third part installation place would open at 9 am and they would get someone to handle a repair for me. I have literally spent my entire day trying to find someone that I can call to fix this faulty installation. No one has provided any help other than to tell me that I can wait 4 days for the next appointment. I have tried to shut the valve off and that slowed the leak but did not completely stop it. This is a huge issue as my house is currently for sale. I was installing the new appliances to make it more attractive to buyers. Now my cabinets might be ruined. I cannot have the home inspected as planned until this is fixed because of the leak. This is a nightmare and all I have gotten from Best Buy is some lame apologies. In my line of work when a mistake is made it is expected to be corrected immediately. This is a simple mistake, but making me wait for 4 days to get it fixed could cost me in the sale of my home and that is unacceptable. I explained this to several people over the phone. I even spoke with someone at their dispatch warehouse. No one cares enough to get the job done right. I will never shop from Best Buy again. read more

I had the best experience recently at this store. I was buying a gaming laptop for my son, and I know nothing about them. The employee who helped me was patient, kind, and knoweldgeable. If she didn't know the answer to my question she found someone who did. She didn't rush me or act like I was wasting her time. She didn't act like my questions were stupid, even though I know some of them probably were. read more

Great customer service!! I called neighborhood music for a guitar string, and 2 counter people could not tell me if they had it or not! They kept giving me sizes for violin strings, but proceeded to brag about 16 guitar teachers, trying to hook me on lessons.I called Best Buy, in about 1 minute they found exactly what I was looking for! The funny part is the girl who helped me did not know anything about guitar, but knew a million times more than people who work at a music store!! read more

When I finally asked the girl at the podium if anyone worked here, she said he's coming. 5 min later I went to Cary B.B. and punched it there with great help! The garner store at White Oak in North Carolina has no understanding of the difficulties and challenges that face people with Dementia and their caregivers. I am a fulltime caregiver to my husband who suffers from Dementia. I was able to get someone to watch my husband while I went to Best Buy at White Oak in North Carolina.  I wanted to get a store credit for an item when a manager, James Reid, said he would not allow it as it was past the 15 day grace period. I explained that my husband suffers from Dementia and I am not able to get out as I am his only caregiver, which he just said "we can't help you." While at the store, I contacted corporate customer service and was helped by Pamela who understood my problem and sent me a gift card for my troubles. While on the phone with customer service, James Reid said for me to move aside. I told him No.  No one else was in line waiting behind. He then threatened to have me removed. This whole time I was still on the phone with Pamela. I was afraid that the manager who threatened me was going to come back with the police. I found out that the general manager, Mike Courtney was there but doing interviews. Pamela suggested I try and speak with the general manager as Best Buy likes to go up the chain of command. I was then approached by James Reid and told him to stay away from me. He had threatened me once and it was not going to happen again. He was mad and walked away and then said over his shoulder to Michelle to tell Nichole, another manager from the store, that Mike said to have me removed from the store. I asked Michelle if that was true and she just shrugged her shoulders. Still waiting to find out if Mike was coming to speak with me and still on the phone with Pamela, I was approached by Nichole, another manager, to follow her. I tried to explain to her that I was waiting to talk with Mike Courtney and she told me that was not going to happen and I had to leave the store. When I said no she called security to have me removed. It was humiliating and a horrible experience. I just couldn't believe what they did to me. Spoke with Royse from corporate customer service and after he contacted this store, his response was there are two sides to the story. I asked to have the general manager call me, Mike Courtney, and talk with him about it as clearly he didn't have the whole picture and of course no call from him. I told Royse to speak with Pamela as she was on the phone the whole time hearing what was happening to me. I don't feel like any action was taken and I do NOT recommend shopping at this store. read more

I do 3 to 6 loads of wash per day. I have bought FOUR sets of washer dryers from Best Buy in the last 9 years. I have two laundry rooms. And I bought a set for my daughter. I have also bought computers there and brought my mom there to buy computers. I have always gotten the warranties on the washer dryers. And whenever the warrantee was about to run out, BB would MAIL me a bill asking if I wanted to renew it which I always did. Well, I guess they decided to start sending them via EMAIL. My BB emails go to my JUNK email account so I never saw it. My email is my junk email that I never look at and I had never corresponded with them on it. It was usually phone calls or regular mail. So last week my washer had a minor problem. When I called to ask to have it fixed, they told me my warrantee had run out 2 weeks prior. I asked them to renew it and they would not. I asked for a supervisor and explained the problem. He would not renew it either. THEY HAVE LOST MY BUSINESS. read more
