we ordered a new washer and dryer and was ensured it was in stock and would arrive by the time we moved in. it was not and we had to call three times for updates - it ended up being back ordered. the salesperson did locate a different color and get it to us. We originally hoped to have a washer/dryer by dec 5 and had it delivered dec 19. THEN at deliver the top of the dryer was dented by the installer climbing on top of the unit and a dusty mess was made. They assured us it was tested and working. After a week we realized the small closet next to our room was filling with humidity and the walls were covered in water. We discovered THIS was how they connected our dryer hose. Then they said the failed parts are no longer available so I bought a different cooktop. The new cooktop does not fit in the space left by the previous one and they have not rectified the situation in over 2 months. Very poor sales experience and worse repair experience. The service was very bad and the staff opts to not answer their phones or return calls. From the misleading info we got from time of purchase through delivery and installation the entire transaction was horrible.. The delivery took almost a complete month not the about 2 weeks we were assured when we purchased the refrigerator. The installation crew were prompt and got the new unit running in a very short time, however, there were and still are issues with leveling and securing the unit so it doesn't move every time you open the doors. When I purchased my oven, I told the sales person that I needed it for the holidays, I had many family members arriving for a home cooked holiday dinner. The oven arrived defective and did not work. The store management made no effort to replace it. It was finally repaired days after the holiday was over, which was a disaster, because I didn't have a working oven to cook the holiday dinner. I went to the store located in Raleigh and Sam helped me. I received fast and friendly service. I was able to schedule delivery fairly quickly and they delivered on a Saturday in a window in between soccer games so that I could get my washer up and running. Sam even called the folllowing Tuesday to follow up to make sure everything was ok. This store's best selling point is the service but I was disappointed by the warranty. I bought 6 high end appliances and a 5 year warranty for each one for the piece of mind. It's 4 years later, both the washer and fridge have completely broken down, and they won't honor the warranty because I moved less than 2 miles from the installation location. Warning - This business does not carry liability insurance I purchases a washer/dryer combination from Garner TV in June of 2011. I went all the way with the 5 year service contract, professional installation,etc. The units were delivered and the installers insisted on using their hoses, hardware.etc. I reluctantly to replace my steel hoses with their rubber hoses. Four months later a failure occurred with the hose assembly. The reason for the failure was unclear but the results was extensive water damage. My insurance company felt it was warranted to contact Garner TV to obtain at least a partial amount to cover the damages. Garner TV has been stonewalling them for a year and half and not responding to calls from the insurance company. My advice to you is bear this in mind when a making a purchase from this company. read more

We decided to remodel our Kitchen a little over five years ago and knew exactly what we wanted in our stove. We ended up purchasing a GE monogram stove (north of 10K in price) The service at purchase and installation went well and we have had great use of it for over five years. Here is were it went down hill.....We have a problem with none of the burners working now and we can't get anyone to work on it. We were told at time of purchase and it states on there website that they service what they sale.......they do not!!! They recommend local companies but no one returns your calls. I have called and emailed several times just to be told you can call GE if you like but there is nothing we can do. I am not asking for warranty or for them to spend a dime, I just wanted the service that they promised at the time of purchase I am in the process of building a house at the beach and wanted the same stove in that kitchen, but I will have to go somewhere to purchase it.
